"You should put your vest on, so the others don't see it." He still has a concerted look in his eyes.

I nod and want to take my vest off my waist, but he's still holding my arm so I can't. He looks at me and sees that I'm looking at his hand on my arm. When he realizes it he releases my arm with a sheepish smile. I smile back wondering how he can look adorable and hot at the same time.

 He just wants to take a step back when the door opens. 

"Are you guys coming or wh..." Jade stops her sentence when she sees us and then laughs. Jason and I both take a step away from each other. Jade probably saw that we were looking at my arm because she is now looking at it in too.

"What is it?" She closes the door behind her and walks towards us.

"Don't you see it?" I ask when she is in front of mee looking at my arm.

"No," she shakes her head. "I don't see anything." 

Jason and I look at each other.

"Oh," I think I understand. Jason's expression changes too.

 "Uhm, well, I just thought my arm looked a little weird, but never mind," I let my vest hang around my hips.

She raises her eyebrow at me,"Okay," she says laughing. She walks back to the door. Jason and I follow her.

"People can't see it," he whispers in my ear and I nod. 

How is it possible that I have a scar of a wolf's claw? Did I forget something happened or has nothing really happened? Has it been erased from my memory? 

"SURPRISE !!!"

Confetti is falling over me, balloons are flying through the air and Mihno and Sylvana have horns in their mouths, blowing on them. Jade, Sylvana, and Daniëlle all jump on me. I almost fall back over but Jason stops me, putting his hand on my back making sure I don't fall. I take one hand from my crutch and hug them back.

"Congratulations Cira. You didn't think we'd forget your birthday." Jade looks offended.

"Congratulations Ci!" Daniëlle shouts in my ear.

Sylvana trows some more confetti over me, "Happy Birthday!" she shouts.

Omg, my friends are too sweet! They did remember! They have confetti and balloons and all.

"Aww thank you, guys." I laugh. I really didn't expect this. Jade ran away but is back in a second. The three off them line up in front off me. 

"Here you go, this is our gift, also from Indira." They say with big smiles.

"No, guys, this really wasn't necessary." I look gratefully at them. This is the reason that I don't tell anyone it's my birthday. 

"Sure it is," says Danielle. "Just open it." 

Sylvana is now pushing the package into my hands. 

We walk on to the living room, near the couch. Jade has a very long couch. At the ends, it is longer so you can sit stretched out with your legs. 

"Open it." Jade orders. I open the package and see that it is a black sweater with on the right side, where the logo is usually, a few letters: CIDJS I don't even have to ask what it stands for. Cira-Indira-Danielle-Jade-Sylvana. THIS IS AMAZING! We at Sylvana's birthday we bought her a denim jacket with the same letters. This is so becoming our thing.

"OMG, I really like this!'' I stand up and hug them again, super tight, ''It's a shame Indira isn't here.'' All three of them nod.  I fold the sweater back and put it on the couch. 

"Now we," Kendall says and Minho smiles. Minho hand me an envelope.

''You really didn't have to get me something,'' I say and take the envelope from them. They thought it was just gonna be a movie night, now they had to bigh me a present. I do feel bad about that.  When I open it I see it's a clothing voucher. 

"Thank you  so very much boy." I don't even know Mihno very well and still have to accept a gift from him. I put the coupons on my sweater. 

"My turn," I hear Jason say. He stood next to the cupboard all the time. He takes a box from his pocket. 

"Omg you too?'' I smile and roll my eyes.

He smiles and gives me the little black box. There is a cute black ribbon around it which it take of now. He keeps looking at my face while I open the box. It has a pair of emerald, khaki earrings in it. 

''Jason,'' I breathe out not able to look away from the earrings.

These are the most beautiful earrings I  have ever seen. They are studs in the shape of a drop of water. They shine a little in the light of the room. 

"They are really beautiful." I touch the stone with my finger. They look super expensive. Why does he give me such an expensive gift? I would have been happy with a bag of sweets.

 I look at him and see him smile. "I'm glad you like them." I look up at him looking down at me while he runs his fingers through his hair. 

Should I give him a hug? I want to...but maybe he will think it's weird if I do.

 Of course Jade notices it.

 "I'll get a bag for your things," she says. She walks past me so I have to take a step forward. Then she gives me a little push in my back so I'm standing closer to Jason than ever. 

OK, a hug it is. I stand on my toes and put my arms around his neck hoping he will hug me back. It doesn't take long before I feel his arms wrap around my waist.

 "Thank you," I say softly. I breathe in, his scent feels my airways. 

"It's my pleasure." He whispers back in my ear. 

This is a nice hug, his body is so warm which is weird because he just came from outside 5 minutes ago. I can stay this way for a long time, but of course, we don't. When I let go of him he also drops his arms.

 Jade already coming back with a bag in her hand. 

"You don't have to talk me," she grins while giving me the bag.

"Thank you," I say and put everything in the bag. I walk to the dining table and put my bag on it. 

Everyone sits down while Jade is starting the movie.

Sylvana sits down in the corner and lies with her legs straight. Whit Danielle next to her and on the other side off Danielle sits Mihnol and than Kendall. Jason sat down in the other corner by the window, I walk around the coffee table and sit next to him. I sit on one leg and place the other bent on the couch. No one had their legs on the grounds. I see Jason turning his attention to me when I sit down.

"Which movie are we going to watch?" I ask out loud. 

"Twilight!" shouts Daniëlle and Sylvana cheers. Jade looks around at me and smiles. 

I laugh, this will be weird.

"What kind of film is that?" Jason asks me. 

"Such a vampire/werewolf movie." I say laughing. 

"Oh," he grins and nods. 

I hope that Danielle and Sylvana can keep our usual werewolf/vampire talk to themselves. 

Jade puts the DVD in the player and sits down between me and Kendall. I look at her with a smile and then look at Kendall. IN response she does the same with me and Jason. Then we both start to laugh softly. 

On the table in front of us is popcorn, chips, cookies and soft drinks. The lights are dimmed so we can see the screen better. It is quiet when the movie starts. During the movie everyone is focused on the screen. Usually, this isn't when it is just us girls. When the main character comes on the screen, Sylvana starts to laugh. 

"Woehoe," shouts Danielle. 

"Your favorite Ci," Sylvana shouts and they both start laughing. I smile and look at jade with an uncomfortably face, which makes her laugh too. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Jason smiling but keeps looking at the screen.

"You can grab popcorn and stuff," Jade says. She places a bowl with everyone. A bowl of salt popcorn between me and Jason. 

"Thanks," I say. 

"Thank you," Jason also says at the same time.

 Now everyone talks softly. Jade and Kendall are talking but I have no idea about what. I can hear Jade laughing. Minho talks to Sylvana and Daniëlle about the film. I lean my head back against the closet behind the couch, but that is not comfortable with my bun. I loosen my hair again and then lean back. I sit down on one foot and just leave the other leg on the floor. Jason also changes his position. He sits slightly turned inwards, towards us. 

He looks at me again. "Why didn't you tell me it's your birthday today?" 

"I didn't tell anyone," I admit andturn to him a bit. 

''Why not?'' I run my hand through my hair so that it does not hang in front of my face. 'I don't know. I don't think it was necessary for anyone to know. Also, I don't really like to be in the spotlight. 

''It's your birthday that's the day you need to be in the spotlight." He says and takes some popcorn from the bowl. I say "yeah" and also grab some popcorn. 

We focus back on the movie. It's funny to see how Jason reacts to the vampire and werewolf parts. Sometimes he laughs or shaking his head.

Watching movies like this is strange because now I know that parts are real but told so differently. Jade stands up and turns on the lights a bit more. It was already dark in the house. 

The moon is already visible outside. I pick up my phone, it's half-past eight.

Our attention is back on the movie again when the female main character gets attacked.

"No Bella!" Minho shouts and covers his face with a pillow. We all laugh at his reaction and Daniella throws popcorn at him. Minho really enjoys this movie. Everyone looks shocked because part one had an open end.

"Do you have the next part too?" Minho asks. Jade nods and jumps up to put the next part on. 

Everyone starts talking. I have no idea what to say to Jason. He probably doesn't enjoy himself, he wanted to hang out but won't be happy. He wanted to meet, but no one really talks to him.
We are just watching a movie.

The film starts and everyone is quiet again. When we are in the middle of part 2, Danielle starts talking.

"Okay, what are you? Team vampire or team werewolf?"She looks at Sylvana. She already knows the answers, but she still asks.

Sylvana: "Vampire of course!''

Danielle: "I really can't choose, you Mihno?''

Mihno: "Vampires, of course, look how beautiful they are.''

"Kendall: "I think I would choose werewolves.''

Jade: "Vampire"

"We don't have to ask Cira," Danielle says.

"WEREWOLF!" Jade, Sylvana and Danielle shout. I smile ashamed and go over my face with my hand. 

''I don't get why tho. They are animals.'' Sylvana leans over a but so she can look at me.

''Well she likes that, an animal, an animal in the sheets,'' SHe says with a huge smirk on her face. Everyone starts laughing. 

OMG

Well, this is embarrassing. I cover my mouth but can help but join them in laughter. God way is she like that? 

I'm so not gonna make eye contact with Jason for... the rest of my freaking life.

"And you Jason?" Danielle asks when everyone is silent again. 

The tone of her voice is different now, slower and flirty. is she serious right now? 

"Vampires 100%," he says casually. 

Everyone nods and watches the film again. 

I look at him with a smile. "Vampire?" I say laughing.

 He laughs "Of course." and winks. 

Omg, he winked, what's so hot.

We both watch the movie again. I really think I can watch these movies 100 times and still watch the movie with full attention. Well, maybe not with full attention now because there is a super handsome werewolf sitting next to me. 

I see Jason turning away from the window again. He stares at the floor and thinks. I look at him and smile, he smiles back. He sits with stretched out legs and crossed them. 

I hear Sylvana and Daniëlle talking about the film. 

Jade looks at me and laughs when she hears it. "Do you hear them?" She rolls her eyes. 

  They talk like it's the first time they watch the movie. "We have only seen these films 20 times," she says and we both laugh. 

Out of the corner of my eyes, I see Jason move abruptly, bending his knees. He is sitting with his fists beside his body pushing against his legs. His face is covered with pain. Sweat is forming on his forehead.

I turn to him, "What is it?" I whisper in panic, not knowing what to do. I look around a little, to see what's hurting him. There is nothing, I look up and notice that the moon shines brightly through the window. 

It's a full moon. 

Shit,  I hadn't thought of that at all. 

Valentina said it would be soon, but not today.
