Soon enough,even this week spent in Italy passed,and now they were back home,enjoying a well deserved rest.
Kim and Jacob were eating lunch in the kitchen,and occasionally using their spoons to catapult various bits of food on others,while playing innocent and giggling,Malik and Ezio were playing video games (fast learners~!),Evie was reading a book,and Altair was half-asleep on the couch,watching some random TV show.
Connor prepared breakfast for him and Raven,and went with the full tray to her room,where they ate in peace,with the peaceful sound of Classical music in the background.

The whole house was back to its usual peace.

But it was them you were talking about,so obviously,that peace cannot be maintained.
This time,not by them,but by an old,long forgotten pest,that just couldn't disappear,just like a plague.
And this pest was frantically knocking on the door.

*knock*
*knock*
*knock*

And it wouldn't stop.

And it got louder and louder,until Altair got so pissed off,that he stormed to the door and slammed it open,revealing the pest.

Pest:Who the hell are you?
Altair:I should be the one doing the questioning here,kid.
Pest:Nevermind that.

And that little pest managed to rat his way into the house,and up the stairs,while Kim was so shocked that she dropped the spoon in her milk and cereal bowl.
So shocked,that she started muttering incoherently,and ran up after the pest,trying to stop him,and Jacob on her tail,confused,just like everyone else.

The pest opened the door,revealing Connor massaging Raven's back,and telling old Native tales.
The girl opened her eyes,and raised,leaning on her arm,begrudgingly,hating the interruption.
Then she saw the Pest.
The Pest that she hated the most in this world.
It was T H E Pest.

Raven:Um...Why...are you here?
Pest:I came here in peace,to forgive you.
Raven:Forgive...me?Forgive me for what?
Pest:Breaking up with me,of course.
Raven:I don't think I follow you.
Pest:You were always the slow one.Guess that won't ever change.I am going to forgive you for breaking up with me,and also,forgive this whorish behaviour of having so many males in your house,and I will take you back.Here,take this flower.
Raven:*blinks*Why the hell would I want to be with you again?I broke up with you for a reason,and that's final.Your toxicity was tainting me.I'm glad that you were gone.So just what made your stupid pea brain think that it would be okay to just storm in my house and talk like you own the place?

The girl raised and opened the door,to shove the Pest out of the room,but there,Kim was there,with a worried expression.

Kim:I'm so sorry,Raven!I tried to stop him,but I couldn't!He was banging on the door,and Altair opened the door to see what was going on...and he just ran up here!
Raven:I see...So you are legit intruding the privacy of my house and fouling this place.Do me a favour,and leave,before I sue you and get a restriction order from the police.

The pest threw the flower at the girl,and grabbed her wrists tightly,glaring at her,despite her protests.

Pest:I came here and I will not be denied my wish!Not again!
Raven:Have you forgotten that you are in MY house,in MY room,with 5 strong males that could just throw you out of the balcony if I said so?
Pest:All the time we were together you told me not to worry and not to be jealous of your male friends.In the end,you were always just a cheater!
Raven:Oh,shut up,Drama Queen!

Before the Pest could say anything else,Connor got up and grabbed his wrist so hard that a snap,followed by a high pitched scream rang in the room.

Raven:*poison smile*Didn't I tell you,Pest?Play with fire,and you get burnt.Never touch me again.Never.Ever.
Pest:You used to lean and purr like a kitten under my touch,but you grew tired of me.Cold.You wanted to get rid of me!
Raven:I did.I was bored and tired of you.Of you and your obsession with me.I have my life and my freedom.I am a free person,not caged by your ignorance.
Pest:You never had time for me!You always made excuses as to why we couldn't hang out,but you'd always be out with your friends!You treated me worse than shit and you blamed your studies.
Raven:*sighs frustrated*You're so annoying...always the same reasons to argue,always,you weren't listening to me.Seriously,if you can't hang,here's the door.You knew what you had gotten yourself into,but you couldn't resist.Your stupid male hormones and your insecurities destroyed you.You weren't you anymore.And you blamed me for the same things you did to me as well.
Pest:I loved you so much!
Raven:Pity.I didn't see that.
Pest:I showed you!Every time!
Raven:Especially when I didn't want to.
Pest:But you said you liked it!
Raven:No.I never did.I told you countless times that I hated it.But you'd do it anyways.Your pleasure was always more important than me.You chose lust over love,and you lost me.Then again,you have the brain of a needy child,so I am surprised not that you still cannot comprehend the situation.Goodbye.
Pest:No!That's wrong!I love you and only you!For eternity and beyond!I was always there for you,and I will always be!
Raven:But you never were.I was always beyond you and out of your reach.Always your superior.Be gone.Forever.
Pest:DON'T LEAVE ME!
Raven:Kim...you know what to do.
Kim:Are you sure?
Raven:*rolls eyes*This Pest has been a plague for way too long.But like any plague...it has a cure.Get Frye with you.
Kim:*smirks*Yes,sir,yes!
Jacob:I don't know what's going on,but that's no way a gentleman treats a lady,so I will help my dear Kim!

With a smirk,I waved them goodbye,as they dragged the screaming Pest out of the house (and beating/threatening the hell out of him)

Connor:Was this the cause of your past pain?
Raven:*nods*Unfortunate experience.
Connor:The way he talked and acted...
Raven:Just ignore it.It is gone,and this time,forever.Mistakes happen,and even I do them.*sighs*Such a tiring mistake...
Connor:He should have known that the path of a Great Shaman is long and perilous,with countless obstacles.He should have been there to support you.
Raven:Instead,he'd put more obstacles on the path.I had to end it as soon as possible.
Connor:I understand now why you asked me that question,back then.To choose between myself or my significant other.
Raven:Now you know...
Connor:After what I've witnessed,I have to say that the happiness of my beloved is far more important than petty physical affections that make her uncomfortable.
Raven:Uncomfortable...scared...weary...
Connor:That was no way to treat your lover.
Raven:That,dear Connor,is called /abuse/.Psychical and Physical.
Connor:Worry not,dear Kangee.Your Shaman powers can sense my love for you.
Raven:I have been wrong before,but I know you.I can feel your innocent and genuine soul.You are sincere.

He smiled,intertwined his fingers with her delicate ones, and touched his forehead to Raven's,both of them feeling the calming energy surging through them.
It was bliss.

Meanwhile,as Kim and Jacob were forcefully dragging the Pest down the stairs,and him screaming in pain,the others were attracted to the noise and looked in their direction.

Ezio:What happened?Who's this guy,after all?
Kim:This jerk is the source of Raven's past pain.
Jacob:An ex,so to speak.
Ezio:That figlio di putana!How dare he?
Malik:How could he?!Has he no notion of respect?
Evie:*eye twitch*He's SO dead.

Altair said nothing,but cracked his knuckles,went to the pest,snatched him from Kim's grasp,and dragged him outside,using him as his personal punching bag.
And of course,Kim and the others couldn't stop themselves from inflicting physical pain to the Pest.
Well...
He deserved it,after all.
And now,maybe he'll stop pursuing me and get the point.

As they were still beating the bastard up,Connor came with the brilliant idea to go to the mountains,as a trip.
A much longer trip.
So,the next day,they went to get camping equipment and book hostel rooms,just in case(cause they cant stay filthy for more than 3 days,right~?)

Now,the trip TO the mountains...the more mature girl had to drive,obviously...but it proved to be rather...
DISTRACTING.

I mean...Six assassins in a car,in a mountain trip.What could possibly go wrong?
Kim was staying in the back with Altaïr and Jacob,on the left side,while Evie,Ezio and Malik where on the right.Connor was staying with Ray in the front.
Only the mature ones can stay in front.

Kim...was bored (as usual) and wanted to sleep,but with Altaïr next to her...oh well,shit will happen.she started poking Altaïr.

Altair:Why do I have to stay next to this idiot?Why can't I stay at the other end of the car?
Jacob:Oh c'mon Altaïr.You are no fun at all...!
Kim:Yeaaah,Jacob is right...for once.
Jacob:HEY!
Raven:*giggles*Sorry,Altair,but you sat there.

~after a while~

Because the boredom hit the younger girl like a train,she started singing one of her favourite song from Hamilton.But that didn't lasted too long because Altaïr flicked her forehead,to make her shut up.
Instead...she started making quite the ruckus.

Kim:OWW!WHAT WAS THAT FOR NOVICE?!
Raven:Can you guys stop,please?I need to be focused on the road!And you're making me want to kill you!
Jacob:Aye aye boss!
Connor:Good.

After the whole "incident" Kim (thankfully)fell asleep on Altaïr's shoulder as Jacob slept on her shoulder too.

Raven:*mutters*You know...it's quite quiet with those two sleeping...
Evie:Is that bad?
Raven:Not necessary...but I don't want to fall asleep either.
Evie:And what do you suggest?
Raven:*smirks*I suggest you cover your ears for a bit.And cover them well.
Altair:You're provoking the lion.
Raven:D'you really think either of them dare mess with me?
Ezio:Remember the beach incident?
Raven:*shrugs*That was just a playful jab at me.Nonetheless...she got that jab back in the ribs.*grins*Ten times harder.
Malik:Do your worst,then.
Raven:Connor...good luck.

They looked confused for a while,until I started blasting rock music really loud,making the pair jolt awake,hitting the roof of the car.
Then,I turned off the music again,and played innocent,as everyone started laughing like crazy.

Kim:What the fuck was that?
Raven:Huh?What was what?
Kim:That noise!
Raven:Noise?Sorry,I thought you flew through the roof of the car because of a bump or some rock I hit with the car.
Jacob:But I heard it too!
Raven:*shrugs*The dream world is a most peculiar one.Usually,what you dream and what is real can intertwine.
Kim:Oh,Raven...that was mean.I still think it was music.
Raven:Believe what you wish.I was actually enjoying the silence,so if you can,please go back to sleep.
Jacob:*skeptical*What's to guarantee that won't happen again?
Raven:For starters,it's a mountain road,so nothing.Secondly,*puts on shades*I'm removing the car's roof.

Smirking,she put an arm on the car window and enjoyed the wind through her extended arm and hair,and Connor mimicked her behaviour,letting his long,dark hair flow.
The cool,fresh,mountain air was all they needed.
And they got away with that innocent little prank.

The day started as a success.

When they got to an open clearing,with a river and trees nearby,they got the camping equipment out of the car,and started (with much difficulty)to install tents.
In the end,that task remained to the two modern girls,as they were more used to the idea of camping,and the others had to start making a camping fire and some logs,to stay on.
Also...
They had to prepare for the BBQ,later on.
But until then...
The older girl fell on her back on the grass,enjoying the nature,as the younger one quickly took of her shoes and went to play in the river water.
That night,they were singing,somehow tipsy from the alcohol they're drunk,and eating roasted marshmallows,until they realized they've remained without water,so Raven,being the least tipsy,offered to get some from the stream nearby.

She got a bucket full of empty bottles,and put each of them in the cool,flowing water.
That is,until she heard some heard rustle noises,and put it off as some forest critter,and ran back to the camp,with the (heavy) water bucket.

She thought the commotion from the forest would stop,but when she heard a twig snapping through all the cheery noises,she stealthily went to get her bow and arrows,and ran to the source of the noise.

Raven:Who are you and what do you want here?
-?-:I'm kinda lost,to be honest,miss.

The person revealed themselves,and was shocked when he saw himself faced with a pointed arrow and a tense bow,wielded by a blue-haired girl.

The man wore a specific Revolutionary outfit,from America.
And that can only mean one dreadful thing...

Raven:You are not welcomed here,Kenway.
Hay:Excuse me,miss,but how do you know me?I did not think I was that well known in this peculiar world.
Raven:No time for explanation.Now leave,before I use your head as target practice.
Hay:*chuckles*No need for such hostility,I am just looking for a safe place to sleep.
Raven:And that place is not here.

The others at the camp were wondering why the girl was missing for so long,so they started calling for her.

Kim:Raven?!Are you okay?
Raven:Just fine!Stay there and don't leave the camp!
Hay:Miss Raven,such a nice name~!
Raven:Better bite your vile tongue,vermin.
Connor:Kangee,I'm coming over!
Raven:DON'T YOU DARE!
Hay:*confused*That voice is quite familiar-...?
Raven:No it's not!Now leave!

All her warnings,however,couldn't keep Connor at bay,as he made his way to the clearing of the confrontation.

Raven:You idiot!I told you not to come!
Connor:Who is that,Kangee?
Hay:Is that...?
Raven:YOU DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER!
Connor:Haytham?
Hay:Connor?
Raven:FUUUUUUCK my LIFE with a chainsaw!
Hay:*chuckles*Connor,you found quite the hilarious lover.

But as he laughed,and she changed my glare from Haytham,to Connor,the bluenette heard the click of a pistol.
Pistol,that was pointing at her.

Hay:Sorry,son,but I just wanted a place to sleep.Your lady is quite feisty.
Raven:Can you shut up,already?You think you're scary with that old,cheap pistol that barely holds five bullets?
Hay:Six,to be precise.And your weapon of choice is far older than mine.
Raven:And perhaps more efficient.
Connor:Just leave us in peace.Haven't you done enough?
Hay:Why,son,I haven't done much yet.
Raven:Apart from letting Connor's mother die?Or being a filthy Templar?Right...easy to forgive sins.

The moment he said that,the girl accidentally released the arrow,going past Haytham's ear,and grazing his temple,then started laughing,making her friend confused.

Hay:I wasn't expecting that from either of you.
Raven:Neither was I expecting you here,or Connor's comment,but here we are,witnessing the impossible.
Connor:Was what I said that hilarious?
Raven:T'was indeed
Connor:Huh...
Hay:Goodbye...for now.I have overstayed my welcome.

After he left,the girl guided Connor back to the camp and they sat down on the logs.

Connor:Why didn't you want me to know he was here too?
Raven:Because I didn't want you to act violently or lose yourself in revenge.
Kim:Who?Who's here?
Raven:Haytham was here.
Kim:BOO,YOU WHORE!
Malik:Who is this Haytham?
Connor:My father.
Ezio:Your padre is here?Where?
Raven:Hopefully away from here.He's a Templar.

The atmosphere got somber all of a sudden,with the spoken word.

Raven:Be on your guard.As you all know,Nothing is true,Everything is permitted.So if all of you are here,perhaps your enemies are here as well.Which...will prove to be significantly horrible.
Altaïr:We can kill them no problem.
Raven:Perhaps in your era,but here,it won't be so easy.Nevertheless,I suggest we catch some sleep,stop being drunk,and enjoy the beauty of nature for the next days.
Jacob:Aye,sounds good to men,lass~!C'mon,Kim,leggo~!
Kim:Cap'n Rook incomin'!
Evie:*facepalms*Oh,brother...

Saying their good nights,they went to our assigned tents and prepared for a well deserved sleep.
And sleep they did...
Until a rustle woke up the bluenette.
