Y/n practiced kata taught to him by Gouken Sensei, he felt the strong ki flow in his body with every form of movement. He needed a way to keep his mind from the revelations of not being Summer's child, if his mind was vulnerable then the Satsui No Hado has a better chance of taking over his mind and spirit. Before he can continue the lights went out causing Y/n to stop, he lit his fist on fire to get a visual. He looked around looking for the light switch but instead saw Ryu on the floor, Y/n immediately put out his fire and ran to Ryu.

Y/n: "Ryu! Ryu come on wake up man!"

Ryu looked at Y/n, he groaned in pain with just moving his body. Y/n grabbed his hand in fear.

Ryu: "Forget about me...run Y/n..."

Ryu then went limp much to Y/n's fear and sadness, in desperation he tried shaking Ryu awake. He then saw a figure with white hair, a red suit, cape, hat, and pearl white eyes. Y/n noticed some kind of purple aura around his body, Y/n's eyes and hands lit up with hellfire as the figure then turned into a spiraling drill of the purple aura.

???: "Psycho Crusher!"

Y/n bolted from his bed silently as he started panting, he wiped the cold sweat from his forehead as he started to calm himself down. He put on his gi and snuck out to the emerald forest to meditate, he sat near the running stream and sat down forming a ball of ki energy in his hand. He closed his eyes letting the ki flow through his blood, once he sat down the howling wind suddenly stopped. He felt an ominous aura in the forest around him, an aura that he felt before, an aura that Gouken Sensei told him, he immediately turned to see him. The warrior that threw away his humanity, the demon of Ansatsuken, Gouken's own brother, Gouki...Akuma.

Y/n can feel the dark hado surround the forest around them as he started to back away.

Y/n: "Rose warned me about you being here"

Akuma: "Is that so? Hmph, so you already know why I am here"

Y/n: "I don't want my brothers to be thrown under the bus, but why me?"

Akuma: "Do not play dumb boy, we both know why I picked you..."

Akuma started walking towards Y/n causing Y/n to step back.

Akuma: "We both know you tapped into the Dark Hado when you confronted the old man, and we both know that you died in the basement of the Xiao Long homestead and became reborn as a hellspawn. We both know that you were meant to use the Satsui No Hado"

Y/n's hand turned into a fist.

Y/n: "I am not a hellspawn"

Akuma shot a purple hadoken at Y/n causing him to counter with a hellfire ball breaking through the dark hadoken, Akuma went into Demon Flip, grabbed Y/n and threw him against the tree. Y/n teleported to strike Akuma down to the ground with an overhead strike, Akuma got back up to see Y/n's eyes and fists on fire.

Akuma: "Hmph, I guess you were wrong"

Y/n realized what he's done and extinguished his flames.

Y/n: "Just tell me what do you want with me"

Akuma: "I want to train you"

Y/n looked in disbelief.

Y/n: "I'm sorry...what?"

Akuma: "I want to train you child"

Y/n: "But...why?"

Akuma: "Gouken's teachings bring unbalance to the principles of Ansatsuken, if he continues then the teachings of the darker side, the Satsui No Hado will be forgotten. I would think Ryu would understand, but he is blinded by Gouken's teaching thinking that just one side could be used to clear your mind...but you, you understand pain, suffering, and rage. Why do you hold back? Why suppress your darkest self when you can use it to protect your family?"

Y/n pondered what Akuma said, it is true what he said. With all the emotional baggage the dark hado calls to him easier than with Ryu, Ken, and Takeda. These days specifically he was struggling to suppress the dark hado and feared losing control of it, but Akuma knew exactly how to control it and more so use it efficiently making him an amazing fighter. Y/n hesitated thinking about how Gouken Sensei and the others would react to this, but he knew that what they don't know will not hurt them. Y/n turned to Akuma and bowed.

Y/n: "When will we start my training...Gouki Sensei"

Akuma: "We start tomorrow, you will meet me in the cave far from this academy in this very forest"

Akuma walked out into the thicker part of the forest disappearing from Y/n's view, Y/n snuck back into his bed with one thought in his mind: Now in secret, he will have to train with the third master.
