Y/n carefully sharpened his katana with his wet stone, still quite sore from the training he has started receiving from Gōki. Even with that soreness he's gotten great results such as increased speed, power, and surprising control in the heat of his hellfire. It even gave him a better combative edge against the likes of Ryu and matched Ken's ability to rush-down his opponent.

Takeda and Ken on the other hand, were busy taking turns playing Mega Man II on a Nintendo Entertainment System or as most would call it: the NES.

Ken: "Jump! Jump damnit!"

Ken watched helplessly as Mega Man fell off the platform as Takeda chuckled at his skill at playing video games.

Takeda: "Dude, even Ryu's better at playing video games than you!"

Ken: "Man shut up! He's better at video games than...all of...us"

This caused a metaphorical "record scratch", making Y/n stop his sword's sharpening process.

Y/n: "...How does a country bumpkin like Ryu play video games better than any of us?"

Before they could get an answer, Ryu entered the room.

Ryu: "I've just received information that team RWBY are going to stake out the White Fang"

Takeda: "And by received you mean you eavesdropped on their conversation?"

Ryu: "Yeah"

Y/n sighed as he wiped down his sword.

Y/n: "As happy as I am to hear that you've used one of Grandmaster Hasashi's lessons, but-"

Ken: "You think Ruby and her team is over their heads"

Y/n: "...Damn you're good"

-scene change-

Y/n: "Ok, what's the run down?"

T/n gathered in a circle, ready to formulate a plan of their own.

Ryu: "Blake and our newest ally Sun Wukong are heading to a White Fang meeting, possibly to receive information of their next move"

Takeda: "Weiss and Ruby are heading to the communications center to get information elsewhere, specifically from the records of Schnee Dust Company"

Ken: "Yang and Neptune is going to the underbelly of Vale, and I think I might know who it is"

Y/n: "Okay, everyone's got an idea of what they're doing, make sure that team RWBY are safe and not getting over their heads. We'll divide and conquer then rendezvous to Ken's point, stay within the shadows guys and keep an eye out"

-timeskip-

Ruby and Weiss walked down the paved road to the communications tower with haste, passing by the many people exiting the building. Their haste allows Takeda to trail them carefully without them noticing him, seeing the crowded group gather at the entrance Takeda took out his climbing spikes and started at the wall of the tower.

Ken's eyes examined the street as he drove himself and Ryu, already the more shadier parts of Vale began to unfold every mile they drove. Ken parked the vehicle in his usual spot right next to a night club, the two got out in a much more casual attire.

Ryu: "Why do sleeves exist? They're so uncomfortable"

Ken: "Ditto, but I'd rather have both of us hidden from prying eyes than be comfy"

Ken was then stopped by a bouncer, possibly two times his weight and a tad taller than he is.

Bouncer: "Name?"

Ken: "Masters, Ken Masters"

The bouncer looked at the list, he grunted before getting out of the way.

Bouncer: "Welcome, enjoy your time"

Ken and Ryu entered the bustling building, filled with guests and guards alike.

Ryu: "I didn't know you're a regular"

Ken: "I'm not exactly a "regular" guest here man"

And finally, Y/n was leaping from rooftop to rooftop. Not a single sound made as each step he made as his eyes scanned each building around him, Y/n immediately stopped as he crouched down, locating a familiar cat and monkey Faunus. Scorpion put on his mask and pulled down his hood, focusing on getting to a better vantage point.

Takeda went in a broom closet, a computer on his lap. He connected a pair of headphones and began tracking Weiss' call, recording every bit of info of he could as her call went on. He then got a ring from his scroll, it was Y/n.

Takeda: "Status"

Y/n: "I found the meeting place for the White Fang, Ken and Ryu are in position as well"

Takeda: "I'm recording the call as we speak, I'm getting some rather incriminating information on both the White Fang and the Schnee Dust Company"

Y/n: "And Ruby?"

Takeda: "She's with her friend, Penny I think?"

-scene change-

Y/n: "Okay, contact me once you've gotten more information. I'm going in"

Y/n disconnected the call and leapt the building, watching from the ceiling window. He looked up on the stage to see Torchwick and Kano, but there were two new faces at play. A girl with brown and pink hair, and a man with rocks protruding and embedded to his body. Y/n didn't know the girl with Roman, but he even knew the other associate.

Y/n: "Tremor..."

-scene change-

Ken: "So how've things been Junior?"

Ken was sharing a non-alcoholic with Junior, catching up with an old friend.

Junior: "Well, apart from the time when the club was wrecked by a blondie things have been going well"

Ken pinched the bridge of his nose, know exactly who this brash blondie was.

Ken: "Anyways, how are the twins? I'm sure that they-"

???/???2: "Keeeeeennnn!"

Melanie and Miltia hugged onto Ken's arms, giggling to themselves.

Ken: "Hey girls!"

Melanie: "What took you so long!"

Militia: "We've been waiting forever!"

Junior merely chuckled to himself as he took a small drink from his cup.

Junior: "I'm glad you finally brought Ryu, you talk about him a lot"

Ken looked at the ring to see Ryu without his shirt brawling against another fighter, Ryu slipped past a cross and countered with a light uppercut knocking him out.

Ryu: "Shoryuken!"

The crowd cheered as Ryu stood as the victor, but the crowd's attention was turned to the door exploding and knocking back some guards.

Yang: "Guess who's back!"

-scene change-

Takeda began walking out of the building with a USB drive with the information that he needed on both sides of this war, he pulled out his scroll and called Ken.

Ken: "Give it to me Takahashi"

Takeda: "The White Fang is camped out in different parts of Vale, and a line of weapons trade is connected to all of them. The Schnee Dust company on the other hand has done more than subjugating Faunus for grueling labor"

Ken: "Let's discuss this more when you come back"

Takeda: "Got it"

Takeda then bumped into someone, causing both persons to fall. Takeda didn't waste time to pick up the other person's items.

Takeda: "Sorry about that, I wasn't looking"

???: "It's fine, I wasn't looking either"

Takeda looked up only to freeze up, in front of him was a girl his age with gauntlets and military-grade body armor, but none of them caught his eye. Instead it was her smile, a smile that got him absolutely star struck.

???: "You good?"

Takeda shook off his stunned state.

Takeda: "Sorry, I just don't recognize you from anywhere"

???: "I'm from Atlas, I'm competing for the Vytal Tournamet"

Takeda: "Really? I'm competing with my team as well!"

???: "Nice! I'm Jacqueline Briggs, but you can call me Jacqui"

Takeda: "I'm Takeda, Takeda Takahashi"

Takeda then received a phone call, he picked up his scroll and saw that it was Y/n.

Takeda: "I gotta take a call, see you around?"

Jacqui: "Sure! See you soon Takeda"

Takeda exited the building and picked up his scroll.

Takeda: "Yo-"

Y/n: "We got a situation in Vale! Get your ass over here!"

-scene change-

Ken was speeding to a large mech controlled by Torchwick, swerving as he avoided any obstacles that came his way. Ryu was taking out the tailing Black Dragon gangsters, blasting balls of energy with precision. Y/n caught up with his teleporting abilities, and the recent training he's had gave him the strength to run faster than normal, he saw Takeda riding his motorcycle and heading to the mech.

Y/n: "Takeda! Entangle the legs! Ryu! Block Roman's vision!"

Ken drove ahead of the mech, he also noticed Yang driving right next to him.

Ken: "Lovely evening isn't it Yang!"

Yang: "Ken?! How'd you even know-"

Ken: "Take the mech down! Ask questions later!"

Ryu charged up a hado ball, yelling out a "Hadoken" before launching it. With a direct hit, it ended up cracking the glass of Torchwick's view.

Weiss froze the ground while Takeda lassoed the mech's legs with his whips, as the mech made contact with the frozen floor Takeda gave a hard yank and pulled it off the bridge.

T/n and RWBY went down to confront the mech, Y/n drew his swords running near Ruby.

Y/n: "Got a plan?!"

Ruby: "You betcha! Freezerburn!"

Weiss froze the floor, Yang brought her fist back and smashed the ice creating a smoke screen. The eight of them lurked within the smoke as Roman tried to track them down, he blasted at a direction knocking down Yang and Blake but was ambushed by Ruby and Takeda.

Takeda used his whips to grapple onto the mech, he forced opened a panel and saw a set of wires.

Takeda: "Keep him occupied!"

The battle carried on, the two teams fought against the mech but to no avail. Y/n watched as his friends get taken out as his aura began to fade, in an act of desperation he shot out a large blast of fire from his palms.

Y/n's response wasn't the melting of metal, but an iron hand smashing into him shattering his aura and destroying his Shirai Ryu armor. Y/n laid on the ground and saw his sister get launched into a pillar causing it to shatter while the rest struggled to fight the mech. It grew into his hopelessness, desperation...rage.

Y/n removed the remnants of his mask, a bit of blood trickling out of the corner of his mouth. Scorpion performed a small kata, before rooting to the ground and forming his hands. A spark emitted in his hands before a blue hado energy glowed, but instead of launching it the hado turned into a nightmarish purple.

Y/n struggled to keep it in, but nevertheless, made sure that the next attack with be one of devastation.

Y/n: "Metsu! Hadoken!"

The purple ball flew across the road and made contact with the mech's right leg, blowing it off. Once it became incapacitated Takeda snipped the final wire to shut down the mech's motor function.

Yang on the other hand, burst out of the rubble with her hair flared to the max. Blake handed Gambol Shroud and with a few swings launched Yang into the mech shattering it to pieces.

Roman came out rather unscathed, more annoyed than he was concerned.

Roman: "And I just got this thing cleaned!"

Without hesitation shot a fire dust shotgun round out of her gauntlet, but instead of hitting Roman it hit a parasol instead revealing the multicolor hair girl. She rested her parasol on her shoulder with a smirk, pissing off Y/n and Yang.

Roman: "Neo, if you will"

Y/n: "No you don't!"

Still under the influence of the Satsui No Hado Y/n ran with inhuman speeds, he leapt up into the air lighting himself on fire before diving down with a blazing hurricane kick.

Y/n: "Tatsumaki!"

But once he made contact with the two, they shattered like glass much to Y/n's frustration. The eight then heard a bulkhead flying above their heads, with Kano flying the vehicle.

Kano: "Good evening sunshine! Tremor! Sign the boy goodnight!"

Tremor came to the bulkhead's port, he lifted his arms as three large boulders lifted into the air.

Yang/Ruby: "Y/n!"

Yang and Ruby blasted at the boulders, causing them to explode leaving one more left. Y/n rooted to the ground feeling a great amount of hado in his legs, leaping up and smashing the boulder with a dragon uppercut.

Y/n: "Shoryuken!"

The boulder turned into a fine powder as the two criminal masterminds left the scene, team RWBY looked up at the Bulkhead leaving.

Ruby: "We lost them!"

Blake: "Well, at least the White Fang's left without an Atlesian Mech, but most importantly nobody got hurt"

Weiss: "I guess you could say that their plan...fell apart?"

As team RWBY groaned at Weiss' joke, the rest of T/n ran to Y/n to see if he was alright.

Ken: "Y/n are you alright?!"

Takeda: "Y/n!"

Much to their surprise, Y/n was left unscathed. Even his fist wasn't seen with any major cuts or injury, Y/n came out of the smokescreen of fine powder calmed from the dark hado.

Y/n: "I'm okay!"

The three of them sighed in relief.

Ryu: "We thought you were injured, or worse"

Ken: "Let's just go home, I still need to beat that level in Mega Man II"

Ryu: "You still haven't beaten that level?"

Takeda: "Okay okay seriously Ryu, how are you so good at video games?"

Y/n chuckled as he walked down with his team.

-scene change-

Akuma sat dormant in his cave, even from far away he could feel the dark hado from Y/n. Visualizing everything, witnessing Y/n's power with the dark hado. For the first time in a while, Gōki grinned a toothy smile, realizing his power won't be forgotten.

Gōki: "Continue your path Y/n Hasashi, and you will become the next Master of the Fist"
