Once on the train, we find our seats and sit down, only making it to 5 minutes before Carly is hungry and asking for food.                                                            "Oh my gosh guys my mum made the best biscuits for us last night" I say, getting them out of my bag,                                                                                      "Oh goodie! What flavour?" Carly asks                                                                 "Red velvet with white choc chips"                                                                      "Omg yum!" Carly says, shoving her hand into the bag and taking one,         "Are you right there?" I ask, taking one for myself                                              "Yeah I'm fine, just hungry" she says with a mouthful of biscuit. Everyone looks at her, astonished, and then laughs.                                                                        "The train from Melbourne to Adelaide will be departing in 2 minutes" the lady says over the intercom. We position our pillows and lean back, waiting for the train to take off.

After a while we get bored and decide to play a game of truth or dare; Amy goes first, picking dare and having to sit next to a stranger and try to start a conversation whilst faking an accent. She gets halfway through a conversation with an American accent about cats when she cracks up laughing and runs back to our seat.                                                                                                     "Okay, hmm... Connor, truth or dare?" Amy asks                                             "Ummm, truth"                                                                                                        "Okay, if the train set on fire right now and you could only save one person, who would you save?"                                                                                        "Hmm... I would save... Carly"                                                                           "Ooohhhh, love is in the air" I say, laughing                                                          "No, I would save Carly because you and Amy are shorter so Finn would be able to save you two and I can apparently only save one person so I would save Carly"                                                                                                                          "Yeah exactly, I'm the strong one so I can carry both of you" Finn says, laughing,                                                                                                                    "Okay Connor you ask someone" Carly says,                                                     "Alright then, Poppy, truth or dare?"                                                                     "Dare" I answer                                                                                                         "Okay, you have t-"                                                                                             "Everybody run there's a kill-"*BANG!* the guy who just ran into the carriage drops to the floor in a pool of blood. Everybody screams and the carriage goes into chaos.                                                                                                                 "What do we do?!" Amy yells through the racket, tears streaming down her face. A gunshot goes off and everyone falls silent. A man walks in with a gun in one hand and a knife in the other. He has a short beard and a menacing look in his eye. Amy puts her hand out and Carly interlocks her hand with it, Carly grabs Finns hand, who grabs Connors and Connor grabs mine, I reach across with my other hand and grab Amy's other hand. We are all shaking with fear, not daring to move.                                                                                             "Anyone who moves is dead!" the man shouts. He loads his gun and points it at a lady's head, "You! What's your name?!" he yells, the lady trembles,            "M-Maria" she says quietly,                                                                                     "Too quiet!" he says and he pulls the trigger. The girl sitting next to her screams and the man kills her too.                                                                             "If anyone says anything without me asking you, you're dead" he says, looking at me. I realise that I'm not breathing, but I don't make an effort to start. He looks away and says,                                                                                                 "And in case any of you were wondering, the names Jack Smith"           Someone tries to sneak away while he's not watching, big mistake; he shoots him without hesitation. A middle aged man jumps up and punches him -Jack- really hard in the face before Jack has time to react, he falls to the ground in agony and everyone jumps up and runs. Thinking quickly, I get on the chair and kick the window, piercing the glass with the heel of my shoe. The train slows down, which means that someone got into the engine carriage and stopped it. The train screeches to a halt and I kick the window again, shattering the glass. Finn climbs out first, followed by Connor. Carly starts climbing out and Finn helps her down. Amy goes next and jumps down. I start climbing out the window when something catches on my clothes, I try to pull my shirt free but it won't budge. I turn my head around to see what it's caught on; a bit of glass sticking out of the edge of the window.                                                                                  "Hurry up Poppy!" Connor says, panicking                                                              "I'm trying, my shirts stuck!" I look back and see Jack Smith slowly getting up, I act fast and try to untangle my shirt, instead it just rips, close enough. I get my other leg out of the window and jump, Connor catches me around the waist and sets me down on the ground.                                                                      "Come on guys, run!" Finn shouts and we take off.
