Once Upon a time in viridian forest there lived a lonely Umbreon  . He didn't have any friends and others didn't seem to like him much because of his explosive personality . He always pretended to be tough and rough and show others that he can live in his own, but everyone needs a true friend in life and no matter how hard he tried but he didn't enjoy his life much . He was just a helpless ,shy pokemon who couldn't trust anyone . One day he was gathering some apples . He  managed to get some apples down from the tree . He nibbled on an apple but it was not sweet . He looked at the tree hoping to find a better apple , then his eye fell on the biggest apple in the tree . It was fully ripe , red as rose , sparkling as if asking someone to take a bite out of it and savour it . But it was hanging from the weakest branch of he tree , quiet hard to get . But Umbreon  thought about giving it a try . After few hours of struggling he managed to climb the tree . He lightly placed his leg in the branch , waited for some time ad then placed another leg . The branch was wobbling . Then he put his whole weight in the weak branch . The apple was not far away , He tried to bite it but then he heard a "Crack" and then he fell down with the broken branch and apple . Then he rolled with the apple . He kept on rolling and rolling , then he was in air again he fell down on some bushes. He got up feeling all dizzy and shook himself . He looked around and found himself in an unknown place . Looks like he got into someone's garden . He nervously looked around hoping to find a exit and then his eyes fell on his apple . An Eevee with a  Red ribbon around his neck was sniffing the apple . Then it's looked at Umbreon with it's big sparkling eyes . It was like love at first sight !  It was the starting of a new love.......

Everyday Umbreon brought the sweetest apples for his new friend. The both used to look at the moon and starts during the night and talk about their lives . They were like north pole and south pole of two magnets , Umbreon had a  brave , bold and strong personality while  Eevee had a timid , cute and cheerful personality . Every time they had a friendly match the Umbreon won no matter what . Umbreon knew that he could not be with his friend for too long . And the  Eevee didn't want his masters to find out about his friend , if they did Umbreon will lose his freedom just like he did . One day under a blue moon , The  Eevee expressed his wish to visit The beach one day . Umbreon promised him that someday he will surely take him to beach . Eevee looked at Umbreon with a surprised face , he felt like Umbreon will surly make his dream come true .

One silent night , Umbreon  was looking at the moon . His mother once told him that if you wish anything from your heart , the moon will grant your wish . Umbreon wished that he could fulfil his best friends desire. A Jirachi who was passing by happened to overhear Umbreon's wish . He will go back to sleep after 7 days so he thought why not make Umbreon's wish come true ? 

Suddenly Umbreon felt sleepy .....

The next day when Umbreon  woke up . He shook his head and at upright , wondering what happening yesterday night . He was cool until he realized he.......had arms and legs ? Now he is looking just like a human . He touched his cheeks and pulled his hair ...

He quickly sneak in the tree where he lived but he couldn't get inside because he was too big now , he reached out his hand in the hole and grabbed a mirror that he found in the forest a long time ago . He screamed and regretted it .He was becoming more confused and anxious by each second ...That was not the way he looked before . 

Umbreon : Acchoo !

He shivered .

Umbreon : why it is so cold ? And where is my FUR ???

He touched his skin it was soft and smooth but now without his fur it was hard to keep him  warm .

Umbreon : First I need to do something about this cold .

Umbreon then took out a blanket from the hole . He had many things stored in that tree , just in case . He wrapped the blanket in his body and ran ....

(Eevee POV )

I woke up feeling uncomfortable . I shifted to my right side to make myself a bit comfortable , but I felt like something was poking me from behind . I moved away from my bed only to find the bed has gotten smaller . Huh ? when did it....

My eyes fell on this unknown human who was looking at me in confusion . When did he get inside ? I looked at my paw. A hand ? With fingers !!!! Where is my paw ??? wait where is my fur ??? Then I realised that it was my reflection . I take a closer look , I look like one of those humans! My eyes and hair was the same color as before . All that changed is that I look like a human . But how ?I ran around the house searching for my owner but he was not here . Then I was a note pinned down on the table .

" I have to leave for some urgent business . Stay inside and be a good boy . Take care of the house until I come back and there are some pokemon food in the cupboard .

Ok...what am I supposed to do now ? I looked at myself again in the mirror and felt kinda awkward and uncomfortable in ,my new body . I am experiencing some new  emotions and feelings . I am not sure why I am feeling like this .... oh ! I remember it's because I don't have any clothes ! Humans always wear clothes over there body .

I sneaked into my owner's room , opened the drawers and closet and picked up some clothes and tried them out ! Lucky me they fitted perfectly ! I then hopped around , curious about new body and what I can do . I am still as fast and agile as before , looks like my powers are still there. Then I heard a loud thud . I ran to the drawing room hoping to see my owner but it was someone else . A boy with black hair , wrapped in a blanket was glaring at me . I sensed threat and tried to run away but before I could move my legs , he pinned me in the ground in an instant . 

He had red eyes like ruby , Long black silky , luscious hair darker than even the night sky . He is taller and stronger than me . His eyes kept looking at me intensely . I don't know why I felt my cheeks heated up a little bit . Those eyes ...they are so familiar ....could it be umbreon ? I was so lost in his eyes that I didn't notice that his blanket was  not on his body anymore . I got embarrassed and looked  away .

Eevee : Um..y-your blan-ket is...

eevee managed to spill out some words .The taller male let go of him 

??? : Eevee ?

Eevee : Is that you Umbreon ?

??? : yes and you are Eevee right ?

Eevee : Yes ! Phew for a moment I thought that you were going to kill me . 

Umbreon : so it's not only me who got a new appearance .

Umbreon leaned close to Eevee to get a closer look and Eevee's face instantly heated up 

Eevee : at first I-I think you need some clothes .

He looked away .

Umbreon tilted his head in response .

*Time skip*

Umbreon : looks like we all the pokemons are transformed into humans . Dang ! Must be one of those ridiculous experiments  of humans !

Eevee : don't say like that . All of them are not so bad .

Umbreon pounced over Eevee .

Umbreon : what are you saying ? All of them are same . There is nothing like good-human ! They see us as a toy . They capture us and then force us to fight with each other just for their entertainment !

Umbreon looked at Eevee sharply . Eevee decided to keep quiet because he knew he can't change Umbreon's perspective of humans after all he spent most of his life alone . He doesn't know much about this world . 

Not getting any answer Umbreon moved away from Eevee and looked at the sunset .

Umbreon : Let's run away Eevee .

Eevee was startled to hear those words .

Eevee : run away ?

Umbreon : Yes let's leave everything behind and be together for the rest of our lives .

It was true that Eevee wanted complete freedom but at the same time he couldn't just betray his owner .

Umbreon : Just say no if you don't want to . I won't ask you about this again and....I'll never come back to you again.

Now Eevee was stuck in middle . He honestly didn't want to lose Umbreon at all cost . He wanted to stay with him for more than anything  , he doesn't want him to leave now but he also cared for his owner . He looked at his collar ....

*time skip *

Umbreon : Careful it's slippery . Here 

Umbreon reached out his hand to Eevee who took it without hesitation . It was pitch dark without any single source of light except the moon . Umbreon's red eyes sparkled , analysing the surrounding very carefully .

Umbreon : we are almost there .

After taking few more steps .They reached in an open area .Eevee was taken away by the breathtaking scenery in front of him .

Eevee : SEA !!!

he jumped in the water and dipped his legs . The water was as clear as mirror , he could see his reflection .umbreon smiled 

Umbreon : Did you like it ?

Eevee : I love it ! 

Both of them sat beside each other , quietly looking at the sky remembering there old memories ...they time they spent together . After a while Eevee suddenly made a move . He gave a quick kiss on Umbreon's cheek . Umbreon was quite surprised by his actions and looked at him questionly .

Eevee : W-well I saw Humans to do this before ...th-they express their thanks like this...

Eevee turned away from him and  fiddled with his fingers his face as red as a flareon  , internally slapping himself for making things awkward. He turned around towards Umbreon only to be greeted by a passionate kiss on his lips . After a while they pull away . Eevee was now pink like a Sylveon . 

Umbreon : I don't know what it is called but I like it .

Eevee : Umbreon...Let's go and see the world together ! 

His eyes sparkled with love and hope .

Umbreon smiled and nodded, entangling his fingers with Eevee's 

While they were busy , someone actually witnessed the whole incident .

Jirachi : Umm this wasn't actually what I thought ....anyway what matters the most is that they're together ! 

Jirachi happily flew away leaving the two newly formed couples .

Meanwhile.....

Eevee's owner (y/n) came back . (y/n) had no idea why professor Oak actually called her . Anyway she had to spent all her day in the laboratory trying to figure out the cause of a unknown virus which was transforming pokemon into humans . She opened the door and went to the drawing room , hoping to see a "human " version of Eevee .But instead she saw a note lying on the table with Eevee's collar above it .

" I am grateful for everything you did for me till now . I don't mean to betray you or cheat you but I can't live anymore without Umbreon . I love him and I want to spend each second of my life with him . I hope you understand and accept my decision . I don't know if I will come back home or not but don't worry about me too much , I will be fine . And I am sure we will meet again someday in near future
