Zephu went to Light's room to get his scythe. He knew Light was getting old and probably couldn't fight Ciardha on his own, and he was running into suicide. He found Reito after fetching Light's scythe, and walked over to him.

"Have you found anybody who is capable of fighting Ciardha alone?"

Reito nodded, remembering Forde's live. "It's the keyboardist for Forde. He was able to defeat Ciardha alone during their live concert."

Zephu closed his eyes. "I'll tell the king. I'm going to fetch Geysis and Kira, and you try to get him here."

Reito left the castle, and Zephu went to Kira's room. He knocked on the door, and then Kira opened it, while Quaid was busy lifting weights. "Kira, Light needs to talk to you. Nothing bad, it's just about Night."

Kira left the room with Zephu, and then went to Geysis, who was panicking.

"Geysis?"

Geysis looked at Zephu. "What? Can't you see I failed in my duties of protecting Night? Alice is gonna have my head!"

Zephu and Kira looked at each other, and jumped on Geysis, forcing him to go to the king and queen.

"Okay, we are here. Reito is getting the idol."

Light retrieved his scythe. "I'm probably not going to come back alive, so I called for the three of you to come assist me in fighting off Ciardha and his sister. You three can either help me fight off Ciardha, or find Night."

Kas came into the room with Reito. "I brought the idol with me. You are safe to depart when the weather clears up."

After preparing to rescue Night, the weather cleared up after an hour of rain.

"Okay, let's go. The Arena is not too far away if we all fly."

Reito saw the five leave, and walked to his room.

"Be safe out there, everyone."

Not too long passed, and the five were not too far from the arena.

Ciardha walked to where he had Night held captive, and stabbed him in the foot, making him scream. He put a blindfold over Night's eyes and then put tape on his mouth. He plunged a dagger into Night's other foot, and kicked him in the face.

Fionna put her bow in her hand in case of an attack, and told Ciardha to just inflict Night with poison.

Ciardha inflicted Night with a poison spell, and grabbed his scythes, before taking off with Night tied up and unable to do anything.

After everybody landed, they stormed the arena their separate ways. Zephu and Kas took the far left entrance, Kira took the far right entrance, and Geysis followed Light into the middle entrance.

The layout of the arena was empty. The whole place was covered in the blood of dead summoners that Ciardha killed. Zephu and Kas walked around with their weapons in hand, but didn't know they were being followed.

Kas took a look around and saw nothing but dead summoners.

"I wonder who did all this."

Zephu took a look at one of the dead summoners. Kas did the same, and he used a spell to determine the cause of death.

"Everybody in here was killed by a head bash. A Demon must be near."

Another bash was heard.

Zephu and Kas ran in the direction of the bash, and soon jumped over a counter after seeing a hole in the wall.

Kira saw the root of the bashings, and charged in. He ran into Zaren, the Demon of Vengeance, the very first male Demon, and slashed him with his windblade.

The armor began to spin around, but didn't damage him.

Kira tried to break Zaren's armor down by repeatedly slashing, but was barely successful in putting a dent. After managing to successfully get to the Demon's soul, Kira realized that the Demon was only armor and just spirit. He instead dropped his weapons, and opened his hands.

Dark magic was compressed all over the hands, and Kira charged in head first. After getting behind Zaren, he took off his helmet, and destroyed the Demon's soul, dropping the armor.

Zephu and Kas continued running, and made a rendezvous with Kira at the entrance to the underground area.

Light and Geysis ran past them.

Everybody met back up at the next door. They were sure Night was beyond the door. Ciardha stabbed another dagger into Night's arms, making his screams louder.

Kira punched the door open.

Night was found unconscious on the floor.

"Quick, begin healing him!"

Ciardha was now out the door, and he dragged Light with him.

"It's now time to fight. Fight for your son's life. If you beat me, I'll let him go. But if you lose, I'll kill him and you as well."

Kas remembered that he had to go to the band practice for the joint live with Radiance. "Sorry, but I have to go. I have a live to practice for."

Kas warped away.

Light knew he had to win this fight. For his son's sake, he had to use his life as his weapon.
