It was now the day of the fall festival.

Khaston and Miyuki woke up and lifted their heads off the table. Ren and Ghiri brought food, and Lex was anxious.

"Khaston! Miyuki! What happened? I mean, it's not like I'm worried or anything."

Khaston put his head up, feeling cranky.

"Let's get back to practicing for this afternoon."

The two bands kept practicing, and after three hours, they began to make their way towards Randall by horseback. Suul was in a carriage, carrying the instruments.

Suul saw the empty key on Kas's Keyboard.

"Maybe I should ask Kas about the empty key."

Suul arrived at the Imperial Capital first, and went to Forde's stage first. After setting up the instruments, he went to the stage meant for Radiance, and set up their instruments.

Kas arrived at the stage first, and returned to his human form.

"Suul? I saw you looking at the missing key. Did you have anything to ask?"

Kas sat down.

"Oh yeah. Why is a key missing?"

Kas rummaged his pockets. "That spot is where I hold my whip. If I try to play a note, it won't work, so that's why I do a combination of the notes that are beside it."

Kas slid his key back into the slot of the proper spot on the keyboard, before sliding it back out. "I'm going to investigate the area. Stay here."

The idol transformed, and flew over the buildings.

After seeing a band, he landed, returning to his human form.

"Hello. Nice of you three to come and perform!"

The three taller men looked down at Kas. "Have you seen our senpais?"

Kas looked up, and said nothing. After a few seconds, he asked who they were talking about and who they were.

"Oh, we are Sadistic Dreams, a band made up of yanderes. I'm the vocalist and guitarist, Vynx. The drummer is Drako, and the keyboardist is Talq. My, my, what a cute looking ido-."

Vynx was cut off by Drako.

"He's an incubus, so be careful to not get him seduced."

Talq dragged Vynx away from Kas before he could hit on him any more.

"We need to practice."

Kas transformed and left. After flying for a bit, he saw a second band, and then landed at their stage.

"Hey, I saw your stage, and decided to come say hi. I'm Kas, from Forde. I see you guys are called nIER."

A girl with a tambourine turned on her earpiece. "Testing!"

Soon after, the other six members all tested their mics, and soon began practicing.

Kas left, not having anything else to say.

Kas went to the booths, and saw both Forde and Radiance at the group date cafe.

"It's time to start practicing. Suul told me the order. First it's Radiance, than nIER, then us, then Sadistic Dreams, Fantasia, and the last band to perform solo is Dream. The last four bands I mentioned are all making their debut here. At the end, all six bands are coming to perform the finale."

It was now afternoon, and people started to arrive at Randall for the Fall Festival.

Fross walked around, seeing the booths. She saw many speakers across the area, and soon heard Suul's voice.

"Good afternoon, people of Grand Gaia! I am Suul, and this is the annual fall festival! Take walks while listening to bands perform all over the place! Four new bands will make their debut tonight, so come see and listen! Our first band performing is Radiance. Their stage is closest to the Summoner's Research Lab, so come see them perform!"

Aki walked toward the speaker, then looked at the hologram above it, smiling. He saw Reito walking to the lab, and decided to follow him. Because the weather was getting colder, Aki was covering himself in his wings to maintain warmth.

"Hey, Reito. Looking for the lab?"

The two friends looked at each other, and then walked to the lab together.

After finding the lab, Aki and Reito managed to get into the front row.

"Each band has a different stage, so make sure to rush quick enough!"

Night was walking around in actual royal attire, as the weather was getting colder. He walked around in a black suit with a blue coat. Immediately, he saw someone suspiciously walk into an alleyway, and went to investigate.

Coropatilion was spotted in the alleyway, murdering a bystander. Before the bystander could die, Night used a magic bolt on the Demon, incapacitating her. He made sure to restrain her tightly, and brought the young victim to safety. He took a look around the victim's body, and saw multiple wounds in the child.

"Why would the Demon target a child?"

Miyuki turned on the microphone.

"Hello, everyone! We are Radiance, and we are the opening act for this festival!"

Lara and Quinn began to make some notes happen, and soon Miyuki joined in.

Night rushed to the nearest clinic to try to save the child's life, but as soon as he got there, Ciardha was standing in front of the door.

Ciardha felt his hand decay. He screamed, and stabbed the child, making her stop the spell. Night picked her up, and transformed, flying to a more public clinic, before rushing her in.

"Nurse! I have a child in critical condition. I need to warn everyone about the enemy being spotted."

The nurse looked at the girl. "What's your name?"

The girl who had used Zeffar's powers looked up. "I'm Aeri."

The nurse quickly rushed Aeri to a medical room, and began to heal her.

Meanwhile, at the festival, Radiance began to play their second song.

Mari tapped on her tambourine twice, before Hal joined in.

Shortly after the festival, Night walked back to the infirmary to check on Aeri.

"Hello, Nurse. I'm here to check on Aeri's status."

The nurse led Night to Aeri's room.

"Prince Night, I'm not sure if you should see her so soon. I found evidence of Black Element."

Night opened the door, and he saw Aeri and Zeffar's spirit colliding. He smiled, and closed the door.

"When she's older, I will come back to help her with her destiny."

Night left the area, transforming to go back to the Sama Kingdom, before he cast a lethal thorns spell on himself which killed the first person who attacked him, completely nullifying the attack. Coropatilion tried to kill Night, but died instead. Night flew back home when he saw the dead Demon.

Ciardha and Fionna were in the distance.

"Sister, we should make a plan. One that will get out target and another life. Let's go for his father. Surely, the king has to be getting old now. He won't be able to survive a powerful fight, even in his Ultima form."

After Ciardha agreed to his sister's suggestion, they saw a chance to make their plan to hold Night hostage to kill Light.

Aki and Drake walked to their room. He asked Drake to see Demon alone, and so he tried, by covering Drake's human half under a blanket.

"Demon, I know you cannot split apart from Drake at all, but I know that you both will die if one of you get killed. How will you live like this? Living half a life?"

Demon closed his eye. "That's something I'll have to talk to Host abou-."

A window was shattered in the hall.

The door to Night's room was broken down while Night was sound asleep. He was blindfolded and mummified in rope, as Ciardha and Fionna were making their route away.

Ciardha made sure to leave a note for Light before they left into the darkness.

The next morning, Zephu went to wake Night. He opened the door, and found Night's window wide open. The lock was broken, making the dragon panic. He saw the letter, and went to Alice and Light.

"Your Majesties! It happened again! This time it was in the dead of night, Ciardha's strength!"

Zephu handed the letter to Light. "It was Ciardha and Fionna. They have Night held hostage in the depths of the arena, and won't let him go unless a life is sacrificed. The letter was addressed to you for some reason. I think Ciardha wants to take your life."

Light read the letter. "Zephu, fetch my scythe. Tell Geysis and Kira to come with me. I have to get my son back."
