A day after Arius was turned, Night was stuck feeling a small pain.

"I knew what I was doing, but why do I feel guilty?"

Arius woke up, and felt massive pain. "N-Night... can you get me some food?" Arius moaned. Night had to respect his brother, and he got up and looked for a place to get food since he knew he couldn't cook.

He went outside the house, and put some gold in his hand. He he eventually found a market with cooked food, and he bought some. He went back to the house, and he put the food next to Arius, who struggled to get up.

Alice and Skye walked into the room. "Arius? How are you doing?" Skye asked.

Arius kept trying to get up to eat his food while it was still hot. "Do I look like I'm fine?" He managed to get up and he ate the food Night left him.

He started coughing, and Alice and Skye left the room.

Arius heard an object hit the window. He noticed the person at the window was very familiar. He tried to call for help, but he was too weak to speak.

The person at the window took a bow out, and prepared an arrow. He heard footsteps coming, and he saw Rean come into the room. He saw Armilus at the window, and he dashed towards Armilus.

The Demon of Obsession dodged Rean's attack, her objective to kill Arius. She summoned one of the men she possessed to back away, and prepared to kill Arius.

She fired the arrow with Rean killing the man, and the window broke, the arrow rotating, the stick of the arrow hitting Arius.

Arius was still resting, not aware of the battle. "Night, h-how long is this pain going to last?" Arius asked while hesitating.

Night remembered the pain he was withstanding when he was younger. "When I went through the pain, it lasted a week." He told his brother.

Rean slashed Armilus in half, killing her instantly.

After Rean and Night used magic to undo the window breaking, they left the room. As soon as they left, Zephu and Selena came inside.

"Arius. It's us. We just hope that you feel better soon so we can keep extinguishing the demons." Zephu told him in his sleep.

"I know we can't make physical contact, Arius, but I just want to say that I have always hid my feelings. I know I was a bit of a jerk back then, but I realized that I was a bit too hard on you." Selena confessed to Arius.

Through his helmet, Zephu was shocked. He never knew Selena was planning to confess to Arius, but he knew that Selena didn't like Arius, but it was quite obvious by the way she was blushing.

She checked for any gloves on Arius' hands, and when she saw gloves, she put her hands on his hand.

Jade and Haru went to the room, and saw Selena confessing to Arius. Instead of sneaking in on them, they started spying on them.

Selena left the room and saw Haru and Jade. "What exactly are you doing here?" She asked. They both got nervous. "Umm, nothing..?" Jade responded.

Selena walked to Night's location. "Hey, umm. Is it possible for someone who was recently turned to turn somebody else?" She asked.

Night remembered what Light told him when he was little. "No, only an Alpha and an Ultima can turn others. Light is an Ultima, I am an Alpha, and Arius is an Omega. Anybody that is born into a family with an Ultima or an Alpha is born an Alpha." Night told Selena. "Alphas and Ultimas usually wear gloves to keep them from turning other people into Awakeners since unique healing magic overloads an Awakener's hands."

Arius woke up, still in pain. He got up, tried to walk around, and he felt like he could walk.

He managed to walk with the help of the wall, and he fell down on the couch. He was panting really heavily, and put his sword on the table.

He saw a strange vision which felt like a nightmare. He saw Maxwell killing so many people, and screamed, waking up.

He felt the immense pain again, and he tried to find Night. He called for his brother, who found him on the couch.

Night asked Arius what was wrong, but Arius just had to ask a question.

"Does it hurt when unleashing the wings?" He asked Night, who has been an Awakener for twelve years, and him being just recently turned.

Night nodded, and left the room.

Arius saw his spell book on the table, and he tried using healing magic on himself to cure the pain. The magic failed, since normal healing magic had a low chance succeeding on an Awakener.

A portal opened, and a healer came out from the other side.

Yuuri saw the healer come out of the portal. "Marina? Thanks for coming. We need to heal him quickly before the Demons kill everybody." Yuuri said, pointing at Arius.

Marina kept using healing magic on Arius.

Arius woke up. He started to feel better, and he managed to get up.

He sprouted his wings once he left the room.

Night gathered everybody outside, and Marina went back through her portal.

Jade saw Zephu turn into a dragon. "Everyone aboard! If you can fly, get to the side!"

Vargas, Night, Light, and Arius prepared to fly, and when everybody got aboard, the three of them jumped, flying beside Zephu to make sure nobody fell off.

As soon as they got to the mines, they walked back to Roer, hoping Alisa was done with her meeting.

They got inside the building, and Alisa's clients left the room.

Everybody went back to their human forms, as Skye went up the elevator.

They rested in the penthouse as Arius felt more pain. He knew he had to rest, so he rested in one of the rooms.

Joshua took a look at Arius. He knew he couldn't do a thing to help his pain.

He heard somebody fall to the ground. He went to the living room and he saw Night unconscious on the ground.

"What happened this time?" Joshua asked Light.

Night laid down pale. Light looked at his son who was unconscious. "Looks like turning Arius took a really large toll on him."

Joshua carried Night to his room, and they continued waiting.

A few days later, Arius and Night were both fuly recovered. Arius knew how to use his wings, and Night regained all of his strength to fight.

Arius and Rean decided to have a battle at the mines, and they continued battling, until Arius was defeated by Rean. The battle destroyed part of the entrance to the mines, and they fixed it, putting it with the coal.

Light and Night watched the battle, mainly to see how strong Arius has gotten. "He has gotten strong. Let's see how he will last in a long battle."

Suddenly, they saw a portal open from above the penthouse.
