Previous Chapter - The lights dimmed before Dick got a chance to answer and we all went quiet "I am glad you are here today" I looked up at Tim, even through the darkness of the room his blue eyes stood out. I pecked his cheek before laying back on his chest to focus on the film "so am I"

The movie Dick choose was, in fact, a romance movie and it was sorta cheezy, it reminded me a little of how me and Tim can be sometimes with both of us being a little awkward. We finally got near the end of the movie and the two characters were finding out they liked each other, which was cute I must admit.

I blushed and moved away from Tim slightly but I felt his arm tighten and sorta pull me back to him "what's wrong" I didn't respond which made him sigh "Y/N" I looked at him thankful that my blush couldn't be seen int he darkness. "Your worrying me, showing up here and you asking if your sister will ok before she left, you won't explain why....I don't want to pry information you may not be ready to share but, at least tell me if it's harmful to you".

I tried not to bite my lip or make any noticeable signs "Y/N" I looked at him and put on my best smile "no no...of course not" He just looked at me very skeptical. I was so focused on his stare I didn't notice my mistake of anxiously playing with my hands. His eyes widen and he got up and turned on the lights making the other three look at us "what the hell Tim" I turned to Jason "we were watching that".

After Jason and Kate spoke I turned back to Tim who already was standing beside the couch we were on "what is going on Y/N" I finally gave in and bit my lip "Tim she doesn't have to say anything, I get you are worr" Tim cuts her off "Kate don't, I never force her to say anything but I always ask if it is harmful to her and that is where I am going to step in".

I look over at Kate for help but she shrugs "I can't help anymore Y/N" Dick speaks up after that "I have to side with Tim here Y/N, if it is something harmful to you then you should tell us".

I put my head down "Y/N" I don't look up at Tim when he speaks, I heard him sigh before he sits down and makes me look at him "I am sorry for being forceful but you know I worry, I've been worrying about you since our first weeks together. Hell I stayed at your house to make sure you ate after you passed out" a small smile came to my face but it was gone when I thought about my current situation. "You can't help me this time Tim, it's not that simple" he looked over at his siblings and then back at me "why not".

I sighed "he's dangerous and I don't need...I don't want for you to be involved in that" He glares at me before standing and reaching out his hand "let's go talk" he sends another look to his siblings "all of us". I turn to see them all nod and get up ready to follow us out, I stay seated "Tim I-" he still has his hand out "don't Y/N, come on". I look down before putting my hand in his and letting him drag me out of the theater room where everything was fine to the living room where I will have to spill everything.

Slowly, Tim, had me take a seat on one of the couches so he could sit next to me "Y/N who is dangerous" I bit my lip while my leg starts moving up and down. I felt Tim rest a hand on my knee "Y/N calm down, I won't let anything happen to you" I finally turn to him "you can't promise that".

He nodded "I can't because I don't know what we are dealing with, but I do promise you I will do everything in my power to keep you safe but I need to know who is dangerous". I look away again "Y/N we will be right there with him if something happens to you".

I nod before looking at them all and putting my head back down "When we were leaving school earlier S/N...she saw our father" Jason spoke up in a nonchalant tone "so..are you guys not on good terms or something".

I go quiet once again and feel tears welling in my eyes from thinking about everything our parents put me through "my father...both my parents they... they were abusive". It went completely quiet in the room and the sound that broke the silence was the door.

"What's going on here" I turn to see Bruce with Alfred walking in the door. Alfred set down the keys "miss Y/N we weren't expecting you today" I nod "sorry for barging in" Bruce wave his hand "you are always welcome here Y/N". I give him a small smile in thanks "why are you crying miss Y/N" I turn away and wipe my eyes "sorry I-" I felt Tim turn me back to him "don't apologize" I start to play with my hood "What did we interrupt" I hear them both take a seat "go on Y/N".

Once I don't speak Kate speaks for me "she just got done telling us her parents were abusive" I look up to see Alfred's shocked face while Bruce looks shocked for a second before leaning in to hear more. "They left when I was 10 and S/N was...S/N is the only person I have had since then. She was working at an amazing job and building her life but it was too many hours and she couldn't take care of me".

"That wasn't going to work considering...when she got me I never ate or I cut....there was never enough time for her to keep an eye out on me to make sure I never finished ..." I felt Tim's hand in mine and he gave mind a comforting squeeze "did your parents ever do anything to S/N" I sigh at Bruce's question.

"No she was...she was gone most of the time with friends but she seemed content with our parents and they never treated her harsh...there was just always something wrong with me, just me because I can never do anything right".

I felt Tim's grip tighten making me wince a bit before I hear his voice "don't you ever say you can't do anything right, your human we all have stuff we screw up at but so far I haven't seen a single thing you have done that is wrong". I heard Jason speak up this time "except the self-abuse" I clench up a little "while I don't agree with it I see your reasons, everyone breaks Y/N".

I feel more tears come to my eyes "what your parents did was wrong Y/N that's a fact but you my girl are so wonderful, despite your background you are an amazing person and a joy to be around". Kate chuckled before continuing ", especially since making you blush is easy and adorable" I felt the tears roll slowly down my face "besides miss Y/N you have had a good impact on this family, despite what you think of yourself we all love being around you".

Tim lifts my hand making me look at him "I second everything just said" everyone laughs which makes me smile a little. "Do you have any idea what your father might want Y/N" I turn to Bruce before shaking my head "I couldn't tell you..I figured once he left years ago he was happy to be rid of me"

It went silent again and this time it was the doorbell that interrupted. Alfred went to get the door and I felt Tim press his lips to my knuckles making me gasp quietly before turning to look at him. He just smiled "Your amazing don't ever forget that" I blush and turn away to hide it "Y/N" I turn to the door to see my sister making me sigh in relief "you're ok" she chuckles before Alfred let her in shutting the door behind her.

"I should be saying that to you...did you explain everything" I lean closer to Tim and nod, he unlatches our hands before pulling me into his side with an arm around my shoulder "she explained everything, if you don't mind we would like to hear your perspective". I heard S/N sigh before sitting down "well-"
