.: chapter three :. (closed)
Crowpaw followed Dovepaw as they walked to the other side of the camp. Dovepaw kept looking back at him like he might change his mind, but Crowpaw didn't want to disappoint her and therefor didn't voice his thoughts.
They paused in front of a well-kept den and Crowpaw recognized it as the elder's den. He froze. Dovepaw, of course, noticed. "Why'd you stop?" she mewed, looking unhappy.
Crowpaw paused and then replied haughtily, "I, uh, stepped on a rock."
Dovepaw sighed. "Come on, you," she encouraged with a bit of annoyance. Crowpaw walked in to the elder's den first, with Dovepaw on his tail.
"Hi!" greeted Dovepaw. The elders looked up but only one of them responded.
"Hello there, Dovepaw!" croaked an old tom. "What is it that you are doing for us this time?" Dovepaw smiled.
"My friend Crowpaw decided to help me pick out the ticks from you all's fur," meowed the she-cat.
Crowpaw stiffened.
Should he . . .
a) help Dovepaw with a smile
b) help Dovepaw with a frown

I changed the options because I realized they just weren't appealing. If you have already voted, you may vote again!
