Disclaimer; I do not own Supernatural. Dean would probably have a stable girl in his life to tell him how loved he is if I did.

All Hell Breaks Loose Part One; Part One.
__________

"And I fell in love with the way you fall asleep. Slowly, then all at once." -John Green.

EMERY DIDN'T KNOW WHY DEAN NEEDED pie so badly. They had been travelling how many hours without any complaint from the man about his hunger, or anything for that matter, but then all of a sudden, he was hungry. Emery had sighed from the back seat of the Impala, knowing that her and Sam were going to have to go fetch everything.

Dean handed Sam enough cash, Emery sighing as she stepped out into a puddle of water. "And don't forget the extra onions this time."

"I did that purposely last time, Winchester. I didn't wanna kiss your gross, onion mouth," Emery shot back. She rolled her eyes, Sam getting out of the Impala after grabbing the cash.

"Hey, see if they got any pie!" Dean called, Sam ducking back into his view. Emery sighed through her nose, her boot impatiently tapping the ground as she waited for the younger Winchester. Sam breathed a heavy sigh too, before slamming the door on Dean.

Together, the Winchester Wilson duo made their way into the super small diner, Emery faintly hearing Dean call at them to bring him pie. Emery rolled her eyes, before walking into the small building with Sam behind her.

"Hey, could we get some service," Emery asked the waiter who was pouring a costumer coffee. He smiled politely at her, agreeing before going into the back to go get whatever he needed.

Suddenly, Emery didn't know what was happening. There were people surrounding her and Sam, as well as black smoke flying around them. Demons. She tried to fight, she had. The girl also tried to get Dean's attention, who was looking around wildly for something. Emery had tried to scream his name, when something hit the back of her head and the world slipped into darkness as she fell.

Emery woke up in a darkened place. She didn't know what was going on or how she got there. All she knew is that she couldn't see an inch in front of her face. With the back of her head pounding from being knocked unconscious, the girl rose slowly to her feet. She swayed a little, before her hand found the wall of wherever she was. Emery scrunched up her nose at the feeling of rotted, damp wood. She never liked the feeling.

Wanting to get out of wherever the hell she was, Emery took a step back shakily, before she took a deep breath. She needed to find Sam and then somehow get them back to Dean. Sammy was her responsibility right now. So, with as much strength as she could muster, the girl slammed her shoulder into the rotting wood. Emery heard it crack from the pressure of the hit, though it was a lot sturdier than she thought it would be.

Taking a step back again, Emery repeated the action. Her shoulder started to hurt as she repeatedly slammed her shoulder into the wood over and over again, trying to get out of what felt like a prison cell.

After about five more tries, the wood finally broke under her assault and Emery went flying out of wherever. She landing in a puddle of mud, shoulder cracking loudly. She felt herself scream in pain, knowing she dislocated it. Now she really need to find Sam.

She walked around, feeling lopsided as her one arm hung lower than the other, pain shooting through her body as she searched. It hurt. Hell, it hurt like crazy and Emery would rather die another time then dislocate her shoulder. When she heard a scream, Emery felt her reflexes kick in. She ran to the sound, one arm swinging painfully as she ran.

When she got to the place where the scream had resonated from, Ava was freaking out about something. She heard the words fiancé and freaking out, before she finally noticed Andy. Emery noticed the man at that instant and would have hugged him if her shoulder didn't hurt like a bitch.

"Hi, Andy," Andy waved awkwardly, sweater paws visible. "Also freaking out."

Ava then spotted Emery and gave her a confused look. "Oh, I'm Emery. I have a dislocated shoulder. I need Sam to fix it sooner or later. Preferably sooner."

The Ava nodded, before turning back to the taller male. "What's happening?"

"I don't really know yet. But, I know what the four of us have in common," Sam stated. Emery felt her head shake. This couldn't be possible. She was older than Sam. She didn't fit the pattern. This couldn't be possible.

Or could it?

"Hello? Hello? Is anybody there?" A deep voice yelled and the four of them turned to look in the general direction of it.

"Might be more than four," Sam stated, leading the other three. Emery swore when they took off running, easily passing by Ava and Andy and keeping up with Sam. Her arm was still swinging oddly by her side, sending pain shooting through her nerves.

"Sam, you need to fix this," Emery ground out through clenched teeth.

He looked at her arm, eyes widening slightly before nodding. When he turned to look in front of him again, he slowed down to a stop. Emery clutched her shoulder, letting out a grunt of pain as she tried to focus on finding the other people.

"Hello! Hey!" Sam yelled as two people came around a porch corner. A male dressed in military gear was leading a smaller timid girl. "Are you guys alright?"

"I'm not," Emery stated, raising her hand slightly. Sam ignored her.

"Think so," the male said, looking back at the girl behind him.

"I'm Sam," Sam introduced. "The injured girl is Emery."

"Hey," Emery said, a small, pained smile on her face.

"I'm Jake," military guy introduced.

"Lily," the timid girl stated.

"There anymore of you?" Emery asked, looking around. The throbbing of her shoulder was numbing slightly, her body getting used to the pain.

"No," Jake answered.

"How did we even get here?" Lily questioned further. "A minute ago I was in San Diego."

"And I didn't have a dislocated shoulder," Emery seethed at Sam. The male sighed, turning to Emery. He then motioned to the porch. Emery got down, holding her arm out for Sam to grab. Without warning, the male jolted it back into place, Emery yelping in pain.

"Well, if it makes you feel any better," Jake turned to Lily as Emery rolled her shoulder, stretching the muscles. "I went to sleep in Afghanistan."

"Let me take a wild guess, you two are twenty three?" Sam asked, both Jake and Lily turning to look at him in shock. "We all are - except Emery. But we all have abilities."

Emery looked around as Sam explained the usual stuff. Then everyone went around telling their special abilities. Sam and Ava had psychic visions, Andy could put thoughts in you head. Lily's power was a little more dramatic. She took lives by human contact. Before Jake could say his talent, everyone started asking questions again.

Emery closed her eyes, feeling awkward as she knew the answer took the question Andy had asked. Who brought us here?

Easy. Azazel was one sly son of a bitch.

Emery was sitting on the steps of the porch, fingers tapping a rhythm on her knees as she waited for the fight to dissolve. The four were freaking out when Sam dropped the bomb about it being a demon that brought them there.

Jake freaked out and walked away, Emery sighing at his over dramatic exit. Then, suddenly, she felt it. It was almost like a disruption in the Force. Both Emery and Sam locked eyes as the girl stood up and they were running to where they could hear Jake talking from, the three other people following behind.

Sam was the one to swing the iron pole through the demon that was trying to advance on Jake. They all watched as the smoke floated away and Sam looked at everyone.

"Just so you know, that was a demon."

Emery and Sam were trying to explain everything, letting them process it as they repeated 'the talk'. It was strange to do it, but Emery felt that it was necessary. And, as they walked further away from the middle of the town, Emery started to recognize stuff. It wasn't until she saw a very familiar bell that she knew where they were.

"I've seen that bell before," Sam stated. Emery nodded in agreement. "I think I know where we are now."

"Cold Oak, South Dakota," Emery announced. "A town so haunted, every resident fled."

"Well, good to know we are somewhere so historical," Ava said, looking around at the old buildings and such.

"Why in the world would that demon or whatever put us here?" Lily asked, staring at Sam. Emery could tell she was scared, even if she didn't want to show it.

"We're wondering the same thing," Sam said, his focus on the dirty blonde.

"You know what, doesn't matter. It's clear that the only sane thing to do is get the hell out of dodge," Lily said, turning around and walking away from the group. Emery threw her hands up at the girl's stupidity while Sam actually tried to stop her.

"Wait, hold on, Lily. The only way outta here is through miles of woods."

"Beats hanging out with demons."

"Lily, look. We don't know what's going on yet. I mean, we don't even know how many are out there right now."

"Yeah, he's right, we should just-" Jake was interrupted by Lily.

"Don't say 'we'! I am not apart of 'we'! I have nothing in common with any of you!" Lily burst out, walking back to the group.

"Okay, look, look, I know-" Sam was interrupted by Lily's hissy fit.

"You don't know anything! I touched- I accidentally touched my girlfriend."

"Yeah, well his burned to death on the fucking ceiling," Emery burst out, sick of the girl. "And he had dreams about it days before it happened. You all have tragedies with you powers."

"I'm sorry," Sam stated quietly. Lily looked both pissed and embarrassed.

"Whatever. I feel like I'm in a nightmare and it just keeps on getting worse and worse."

"I've lost people too," Sam stated quietly. He motioned back at Emery, explaining about that. "I have a brother out there right now, who is also Emery's boyfriend. He could be dead for all we know. We're all in bad shape. But, I'm telling you, the best way out of this is to stick together."

"Fine."

They were searching the house Sam led them too for any kind of weapon, along with salt. Emery, well, she was trying to find cell service so that she could try and call Dean.

It wasn't really working that well. She had searched the entire bottom floor and was going up the stairs. It seemed that the whole house creaked under the weight of Emery's footsteps. Which made it feel like the whole group was really residing on her and Sam's shoulders. And they were. Because the people downstairs didn't know one thing about demon fighting.

When Emery had no luck finding signal, she made her way downstairs, just as Andy called everyone to him. She rushed over, smiling when she saw the huge bags of salt that Andy was holding.

"Salt," Andy stated after they all gathered around.

"That's great, Andy. Now we all get to st-" Sam cut himself off in the middle of his sentence, glancing around worriedly. "Where's Lily?"

They all looked around. Ava called out for the girl, before Sam called louder, making Emery raise her eyebrow as she watched Ava jump. When they heard a little girl's giggle in response, they all looked at each other, panicked.

Rushing outside, they all spotted Lily at the same time. Hanging from the windmill, a noose around her neck, was Lily. She was clearly dead, her skin grey, but Emery still felt sadness wash over her. Another person they couldn't have saved.

"Okay. Okay, that officially - Sam, she's dead. She's dead!" Ava freaked out, pointing back at the hanging girl. "You said we were chosen for a reason. That is not chosen, that is killed! Okay, you know, we gotta get out of here."

"I second that motion," Andy stated.

"That's not even an option, idiots. The demon-" Emery suddenly felt like a cold chill passed through her body and she turned to see Ava's eyes on her. The hunter stared at Ava for a second, zoning in on her as Sam continued where she left off. She felt as though this had something to do with Ava.

And, as they all made their way into the house, Emery not stopping along with the guys. She didn't want to leave the girl alone in case this did have something to do with her. Emery had learned to trust her gut instinct this past year.
