"May the Force be with you." -Every Jedi/Person on Star Wars.
THE THREE OF THEM STOOD OUTSIDE of the main campus building, looking at the circular scorch mark on the front lawn. Emery's lips were turned downwards in a frown, feeling bad about laughing at Curtis when he could have been telling the truth. It seemed that some people were simply hanging around outside in the rain, ignoring the huge circular mark in the grass.
"I'm telling you, Dean, this was made by some kind of jet engine," Sam stated and Emery fixed her high ponytail so that it was tighter against her head.
"What, you mean some saucer shaped jet engine?" Dean retorted, staring at his brother, who was standing on the step lower than both him and Emery. She was holding his hand to keep her's warm and they were shoved into his jean pocket. She didn't know how it worked and their hands were still comfortable, but it did.
"Well, what else could it be?" Emery asked, glancing between the two boys.
"What the hell?" Dean said, confused about what was happening at this damned university.
"I don't know," Sam answered, still staring at the stupid saucer shaped make in the grass. Emery glared at it, wondering why it had to be in this case, specifically.
"No, seriously, dude. What the hell?" Dean asked, his voice confused and angry. Why did the Winchesters and Emery have to get stuck with this case?
"I don't know," Emery answered this time. "There has to be some connection though. I mean, first the haunting and now this stupid perfect circle scorch mark!"
"You mean, between the angry spirit and the sexed-up E.T.?" Dean asked. Emery scoffed at the wording. Dean and his references. "What could the connection possibly be?"
"But what could we do?" Dean said, shrugging his shoulders at Bobby. "So we just kept on digging."
"So, you and this guy Curtis, you in the same house?" Sam asked a frat boy, who Emery was smiling a toothless smile at. She was kind of mad that she was standing out in the rain, but she couldn't control the weather.
"Yeah," the guy answered, seeming a little angry at the three of them for stopping him. Well, it seemed like it.
"You heard what happened to him, right?" Dean asked, tugging Emery closer to his body. They weren't holding hands anymore, instead his arm was over her shoulder, both trying to steal the other's warmth.
"Yeah, he says it was aliens, but, you know, whatever," the guy said, looking between the three of them.
"Look, man, I know this has to be so hard," Sam stated, looking at the college kid.
"Um, not so much," the guy was shaking his head, looking down.
"But I want you to know I'm here for you," Sam continued. The guy nodded awkwardly, trying to not seem embarrassed for Sam. "You brave little soldier. I acknowledge your pain. Come here." Suddenly, Sam was pulling the kid into a hug, Emery raising her eyebrow as she cuddled closer into Dean. They both tried to avoid looking at Sam, who was hugging the boy tightly against his body. "You're too precious for this world."
"I never said that!" Sam protested, turning to look at Dean. Emery was trying to contain her laughter, because of the way Dean had described the scene. It was all too hilarious. Sam and Dean should get into these fights more often, instead of yelling matches.
"Well, you're always saying pansy stuff like that," Dean stated and Bobby was watching the two intensely.
"Well, um..." The boy said from Sam's hold, obviously wanting to get away from the man. "Yeah, uh, thanks. Thanks for the hug." He patted Sam's torso when Sam finally let the boy go. "But, uh, I'm okay, really. To tell you the truth, whatever happened to Curtis, he had it coming."
"Why's that?" Emery asked, looking at the boy with her eyebrows furrowed.
"He's our pledge master," that's all the boy really had to say. Those pledges were probably put through hell because of Curtis. "Put us through hell this semester. Man, he got off on it. So now he knows how we feel."
"Huh," Dean stated. He then gave Sam a pat on the shoulder, reassuring him that it was okay.
The three of them got back to the motel room a little later, Emery tuning out the conversation about the case. She wanted to nap, or snuggle up with something warm since she had been standing in the rain all day. After shrugging off her coat, Emery collapsed on Dean and her's shared bed.
Sam searching for something had disturbed the half asleep girl, Sam apologizing quietly when he didn't find what he was looking for. When Sam started yelling at Dean and Dean sassed the guy back, Emery grabbed a pillow, shoving it over her head. She knew this was going to be a long night.
"Did you take his computer?" Bobby asked, pacing around the room. The three of the hunters had moved to the table, Dean with a beer, while Sam and Emery sat across from him.
"Serves him right, but no," Dean stated, taking another sip from the beer bottle.
"Well, I didn't lose it. Cause I don't lose things," Sam told Dean angrily, Emery rolling her eyes. This has been going on since the two incidents had happened.
"Oh, that's right. Cause he's Mr. Perfect," Dean said, rolling his eyes as he took yet another sip from the beer.
"Okay, okay. Why don't you just tell me what happened next?" Bobby said, Emery nodding along with the older man.
"There was one more victim," Emery announced, before she reached across the table and snagged Dean's beer bottle, taking the last sip that was in it. Dean glared at the girl, yet there was a mischievous twinkle to it. That couldn't be good.
"Right. Now we didn't see this one ourselves either," Sam continued on, giving Bobby his full attention. "We kind of put it together from the evidence, but this guy, he was, uh, he was a research scientist. Animal testing."
"Yeah, you know, a dick. Which fits the pattern."
Emery sat awake waiting for Sam and Dean to come back, not in the mood to go break into the morgue. While she waited, she searched the motel room to see if Sam's laptop was anywhere to be found. Unfortunately, she had searched everywhere twice, and there was still no computer whatsoever. It was as if it had grown legs and walked away.
"The cops didn't release a cause of death because they had no clue what the cause was," Dean explained, leaning forward on the table.
"So, we checked it out ourselves," Sam stated, glancing at Emery then Dean.
When the two boys returned from their investigation, claiming that it was an alligator in the sewer, Emery remembers laughing her ass off. For some reasons unknown, this seemed like a sense of humour her consciousness would know. That that's why she seemed to be laughing so hard at it.
And then, after breaking the news to Sam that she couldn't find the laptop, she swore that if looks could kill, Dean would have been on a pyre of fire.
"We decided to search the sewer anyway," Sam stated, "so we split up, each taking one end of the campus."
"Did you find anything?" Bobby asked, walking closer to the three younger hunters.
"Yeah, I found something, just not in the sewer," Dean stated, a look of anger appearing on his face.
Dean burst into the hotel room after he had gotten back from his adventure in the sewer, Emery raising her eyebrow about how angry he looked. The girl had a Carver Edlund book in her lap, trying to get caught up in the series.
"You think this is funny?" Dean asked, glaring at his younger brother.
"It depends. What?" Sam asked, looking at his brother in confusion.
Dean mimicked Sam, his face contorting in annoyance as he did so. When he finished, his face was angry again as he exclaimed, "the Car!"
"What about the car?" Sam asked, still confused.
"You can't let the air out of the tires, you idiot. You're gonna bend the rims," Dean exclaimed, his hand gesturing to the outside world where the car was.
"Whoa, wait a minute. I didn't go near your car. Ask Emery," Sam stated. Both turned to the girl, who looked like a doe in headlights.
"Hey, leave me out of this," the girl stated, raising her hands in the defensive position.
Dean glared at her, before turning back to Sam. "Yeah, uh huh, then how'd I find this?" He dug into his pocket, taking out Sam's cash. Sam furrowed his eyebrows, before standing up and feeling his back pocket. When he didn't feel anything, Emery felt herself sigh, her head falling back against the headboard. This was going to be a long night.
It wasn't until they practically fell on the girl that she had enough with their fight. As they struggled for the money, Emery reached over and plucked it out of Dean's hand.
"Could you guys just both shut the fuck up? Neither of you did both the things you're accusing the other of doing!" Emery shouted, glaring at the still struggling pair of brothers.
"Okay, I've heard enough," Bobby stated, looking between the two of them.
"You showed up about an hour after that," Dean stated, looking down at the table.
"I'm surprised at you two, I really am. Sam, first off, Dean did not steal your computer," Sam tried to protest about what Bobby was saying, but the man shushed him. "And, Dean, Sam did not touch your car." Sam fave Dean an I told you so look, before spurting out a yeah! "And if you two bothered to pull your heads out of your asses, it all would have been pretty clear."
"What?" Dean raised his eyebrows, staring at Bobby in confusion.
"What you're dealing with."
"Uh, I got nothing," Dean stated, making Emery roll her eyes.
"Me either," Sam was next.
"You got a trickster on your hands," Bobby stated, but for some reason that didn't feel right to Emery. Or maybe it was just her.
Dean snapped his fingers, pointing at Bobby with a smirk on his face. "That's what I thought."
"What?" Sam asked, obviously not believing Dean. "No you didn't-"
"I gotta tell you," Bobby interrupted Sam, Emery sending him a thankful look. "You guys were the biggest clue."
"What do you mean?" Sam asked, face completely serious.
"These things like chaos and a certain type of mischief," Emery spoke up, looking between the two. "They can create it as easily as we can breathe."
"And it's got you two so turned around and at each other's throats, you can't even think straight," Bobby finished, nodding at Emery in thanks for the help.
"The laptop," Sam stated, as if it was obvious. Which it really was.
"The tires," Dean then said.
"It knows you're onto him," Bobby said. "And it's been playing you like fiddles."
"So what is it, a spirit, demon, what?" Dean asked, looking at Bobby for the answers.
"Actually, it's Loki," Emery told them, getting up from the table. "Or a demigod, I should say."
Bobby went a little more in depth about the demigod legend, before Dean turned to Sam, asking about who they thought it was. Emery rolled her eyes, clapping her hands when the boys actually agreed on something. Why did they have to fight so much? This fight was hilarious, but other times it was just plain annoying.

After Sam and Dean scoped out the guy, before having a fake fight about him in front of him, the plan was in motion. They were going to kill the trickster.
But for some reason, it still didn't feel right to Emery.
And as Sam, Bobby, and herself were sneaking in to take the guy out, Emery heard the music and followed the sound of it. She peered into the window of the auditorium, jealousy consuming her as she noticed the two woman sitting on a heart shaped bed in nothing but lingerie.
When Emery was pushed into the door in front of Sam, wooden stake in hand, she felt herself glaring at the two girls on the bed. Emery's combat boots scuffed against the stairs as she made her way down, nobody noticing but the janitor how her eyes flashed a bright blue.
When she made it to the stage, it seemed that all hell broke loose. Sam and Bobby fended off a masked chainsaw psychopath, while Emery and Dean fought with the two lingerie-cladded Dean sex bribes.
During the fight, Emery's hand caught the bitch's wrist, her veins turning blue from the touch. She screamed, Emery smirking when the girl suddenly disappeared, only leaving the lingerie she was once in and the heels.
Her anger diminished when she saw Dean get thrown, then the boys teamed together and Dean stake the demigod. Something was felt in Emery's chest, almost grief, but she shook it off. She didn't know the guy, why should she grieve him?
"You guys okay?" Dean asked, wiping his mouth.
"Yeah, I guess," Sam stated, looking at the body that was laying dead against the auditorium seats.
As the four of them left the building, Sam thanked Bobby for all of them. Well, he tried to. Bobby interrupted him, telling them they had to get the heck out of there before somebody found that body.
They got into the car and Emery had to wait while Sam and Dean did that weird apology thing, even if they didn't actually outright apologize to each other.

Emery laughed as Dean tossed her on the bed, before she grabbed the he was wearing flannel and pushing it over his shoulders. Her top was already off, leaving her in just her bra and jeans as she tried to undress Dean. After his t-shirt came off, their lips met in a passionate kiss.
Emery flipped them over on the bed, straddling Dean's bulge and grinding her hips against his. A throaty moan came from the man and Emery felt herself smirking.
"I'm still mad at you," she heard herself state, before it was her turn to release a moan from the friction she was creating between them.
"Yeah, yeah, you can release all your anger on me tonight," Dean smirked, before pulling the girl down to kiss him, his hands undoing her bra hooks.
The rest of the night was spent in euphoria as Sam tried to sleep in the next room over, pillow covering his head in attempt to drown out the sounds.
