Sidd was lying on the bed while Avneet was sitting on the couch beside the bed. She laid her head on the back of the couch. After such a hectic flight and all this, she didn't know when she fell asleep, waiting for Sidd to open his eyes. That's when Sidd started opening his eyes. He slowly scanned the room and realized that he was in a hospital room. He slowly sat on the bed when his eyes fell on his wife. Unknowingly, a smile came across his lips. He pushed the blanket and pulled out the IV connected to his hand. He hissed a little, placing a tissue on the wound. He stood up, pacing towards the couch and sat beside Avneet, who was in deep sleep. He chuckled seeing her sleeping so peacefully. He slowly lifted her hair stand to which she squinted her eyes. He smiled as she opened her eyes. Their eyes met but Avu suddenly jerked up as she realized her love woke up and was sitting just in front of her. Avu's hand went to Sidd's cheek, cupping it.

Avu (concerned): Are you alright?

Sidd nodded blinking his eyes.

Avu (irritated): Why do you always do this Siddharth? Like, it's the third time you are not taking care of yourself. Don't you care about me?

Sidd (holding her hand): I do Avneet, but everything was in front of you. Di's blame made me lose my temper.

Avu: What about food? You didn't eat after you gave blood.

Sidd (looking down): I-I forgot.

Avneet looked at the glass of juice placed in front of the couch on the table. She picked it up and handed it to Sidd.

Avu: Have it.

Sidd made a weird face.

Avu (pointing her index finger): Don't you dare make that face. I won't melt.

Sidd rolled his eyes, gulping down the juice sip a sip.

Avu (smiling): That's like my Hubby.

Sidd (looking at her): Avneet, if I will invite you to my home, will you join?

Avneet's eyes sparkled widely and lips stretched into a smile.

Vaishu was standing beside Abhi's bed, staring at him with blank expressions.

Flashback

Abhi and Vaishu were adjusting the family photos which were recently framed. Vaishu was hanging the frame on the wall when its edge hurt her finger. She winced holding her finger.

Abhi (rushing towards her, getting mad): Vaishu, show me.

He examined her finger to find a cut on it. He looked at her with fake anger in his eyes.

Abhi (taking her to the room and making her sit on the bed): Can't you be careful? You have got such a huge cut.

Vaishu: it's nothing serious Abhi.

Abhi (taking tube and bandage): Ya, that's why the blood is not stopping.

He applied ointment and bandaged it while Vaishu was just smiling at him.

Abhi: Done, now don't use this hand. In fact, you take a rest. I will handle everything.

Vaishu (chuckling): Come on Abhi it's a small cut.

Abhi (standing up and keeping ointment): It might open and start bleeding again. So, take a rest.

He went out of the room followed by Vaishu who was arguing with her husband while he wasn't in the mood to listen to her.

Flashback Ends

A tear fell from Vaishu's blank eyes. That's when Abhi's hand moved which made Vaishu attentive. He squinted his eyes and held Vaishu's hand in pain, stunning her. He slowly opened his eyes to find everything blurred. After a few minutes, he started scanning the room and found her wife standing beside him. His eyes moist seeing her and the only word that escaped his lips was her name.

Abhi (husky voice): Vaishu...!!

And tears didn't stop from her eyes.

Vaishu (cracky voice): I think I should call the doctor.

She left the room, leaving Abhi in an ocean of regret.

Siddharth stepped into Nigam Villa and the winds blew. Every object was as if they missed a person in this family and finally, he was here while they were welcoming him. An unknown blossom erupted in Sidd's heart. He smiled signing Avneet to come in.

Sidd (smiling looking around): This is my parent's hard work and dream. My mother's efforts and my father's name.

Avu (admiring it): It is as beautiful as the people of this home.

Sidd (chuckled, looking at her): Come, let me show you the entire house.

They did a house tour and now only one room was left. That was of Vibha Nigam. Sidd opened the door of her room to welcome sadness and memories all around.

Sidd (sad smile): My mom decorated her room with every decor she liked.

Avu (keeping her hand on his shoulder): Siddharth, she is in a better place than now.

Sidd (turning towards her, smiling): Indeed.

That's when Sidd's phone rang which he picked up in a second.

Sidd: Hello! Yes, I am Siddharth Nigam.

Female: Sir, patient Abhishek is not eating anything and is insisting on meeting you. Kindly visit him once and make sure he eats something.

Sidd dropped the call, rolling his eyes while Avneet raised her eyebrow.

Avu: Anything serious?

Sidd: Dada is being stubborn for no reason. I don't know how will he understand I need time, I can't forgive him like this.

Avu (placing her hand on his arm): You should go and explain him personally otherwise, he would act like this only. He was also not right at his place but right now, he is not in a position to stress.

Sidd (nodding): You are right.

That's when the maid arrived there.

Maid: Good noon Sir!

Sidd (smiling): How are you Naini?

Maid: I'm good sir. How are you?

Sidd: I'm good too. Naini, she is Avneet, my wife and Avneet she is Naini, our maid.

Avu passed a smile.

Sidd: So, you should take a rest while I look after Dada. If you will need anything, she will be there.

Avneet nodded and he left from there.

Abhi was arguing with doctors about not eating anything. That's when Sidd entered inside. He froze seeing his younger brother. Siddharth wasn't the younger brother he abandoned, and disrespected. Despite this, he was a very different person from then.

Abhi (whispering): Ashu!

Sidd (ignoring him): Doctor, how is he?

Doctor: He is fine now but his head injury is a little deep so you need to be careful about it. His hand plaster will be removed after 2 weeks and then he will be fine.

Sidd (nodding): When will you discharge him?

Doctor: Almost 10 days.

Sidd: Sure, Can I feed him soup?

Doctor: Sure! The nurses are here, in case you need anything.

Sidd (smiling): Thank you!

The doctor left the ward leaving Sidd and Abhi behind alone.

Abhi (cracky voice): Ashu, I'm sorry.

Sidd: Now you know how it feels when you blame someone and distance yourself from others. In all this, I did nothing. It's over you who distanced away from me, not only distanced but also stated me criminal. What can you complain about from others?

Abhi (cracky voice): Ashu! I am sorry.

Sidd (straight face): I am here to feed you. Please don't repeat the past again and again.

He sat down on the chair beside the bed, taking the bowl in his hand. He forwarded the spoon towards his brother while his brother looked at him with tears in his eyes but now those tears were useless and worthless.
