Abhi pushed the main door to enter inside, taking baby steps. He wasn't left in a position to think anything after Vaishu's outburst. He walked inside while Vaishu's every word ringing in his ears. He suddenly bumped into the maid, which brought him out of his thoughts.

Abhi (looking at her, creating a distance between them): I am so sorry. I didn't see you.

Maid: It's alright, Sir! Are you okay?

Abhi (shaking his head while being in his owm thoughts): Yeah, I am okay. Can you please do one thing?

Maid nodded.

Abhi: Pack Sam's necessary stuff and hand it over to the driver. Ask him to drop it at Rao's home.

Maid (nodding): Alright, Sir!

The maid left from there while Abhi just walked towards his room aimlessly as if he had lost everything and he had nothing left behind. As if he has lost all his loved ones. He dropped himself on the bed, still progressing everything. He seemed lost. That's when a flashback played in his mind to the time when his mother was alive and was with them.

Flashback

Vibha and Abhi were sitting on the couch while Abhi was lying with his head on his mother's lap. After 2 days, it was Sidd's arrival from the U.S.A. Abhi was not married that time while everyone was excited to welcome Sidd. Vibha was caressing Abhi's hair while Abhi was busy on his phone chatting with Sidd, continuously smiling. That's when his mother called him.

Vibha (caressing his hair): Abhi!

Abhi (typing): Yes, mom!

Vibha: Whom are you talking to?

Abhi: Ah, it's Ashu. He is sending me the details of his plane and departure.

Vibha (caressing his hair): Abhi!

Abhi: Hmm...!

Vibha: Promise me one thing.

Abhi glanced at his mom and sat straight as he found it serious. He kept the phone aside and held her hands in his.

Abhi (serious): What happened, mom? Why are you taking promises from me?

Vibha (smiling, cupping his face): Beta, you know people make so many mistakes in their lives. There are many things in between any relationship. Promise me, if Ashu makes any mistake or says anything wrong, you will forgive him. You will never leave him alone and will be with him in any situation. You both will live together

Abhi (placing his hand on hers, smiling): I promise, mom. I will always forgive him and will never leave him alone.

Vibha smiled as she kissed his forehead.

Vibha (tears in her eyes): May god bless you, my son.

Abhi smiled at her again, laying on her lap, spending precious time with his mother talking and laughing.

Flashback ends

Abhi's eyes dropped tears as he realized he failed to fulfil his promise. He hid his face in his palms as he sobbed

Abhi (sobbing, whispering): W-What have I done? He will never forgive me. H-He will never forgive me.

That's when the door was knocked. Abhi quickly wiped his tears with the back of his hand.

Abhi: Come in!

The maid came in.

Maid: Sir, her laugage is packed, and the driver has dropped it to Rao's place.

Abhi (nodding): Thank you. Can I have one cup of coffee?

The maid nodded and left from there, closing the door. That's when notification popped up on his phone. He dragged it out of his pocket to see many emails pending. He unlocked, and his eyes again filled with tears seeing the wallpaper set. It was of him, Vaishnavi, and Siddharth standing with each other with smiling faces. He chuckled humorously, examining the wallpaper.

Abhi (whispering): What have you done, Abhishek? If Aarush added fuel, you blew the fire to that fuel, and now this fire will never be overtaken.

He looked blankly at the screen.

In the U.S.A., it was 8 of the morning. Avneet was standing in front of the mirror, all dressed up, combing her hair with a tensed face. The brush was going down her silky hair while she was continuously looking into the mirror, thinking something else. She slowly turned back to find Sidd sleeping on the bed behind her. She exhaled sharply as she again looked at herself in the mirror. After some moments, Sidd sniffed in his sleep as the sun ray penetrated his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes and sat down on bed to find his wife already standing there in front of the mirror, lost in her thoughts. He thought for a moment and scratched the back of his neck, realizing that he was so dishearted that he didn't know what was said and what not. He again looked at her to find her lost in her thoughts. He smiled at her beauty and got up from the bed while Avneet didn't notice him awake till now. He slowly tiptoped towards her and back hugged her as he approached her. He knew if she saw him, she would be mad at him. She suddenly came out of her thoughts. He slowly kissed her cheek while she realized it was him and placed her hands on his, which was wrapped around her waist.

Sidd (in husky voice, whispering): My boss is looking so breathtaking today.

Avneet broke the hug and faced him. She kept her hand on his forehead to find his temperature normal.

Avu (stern voice): Don't butter me. Such an irresponsible man you are.

Sidd (removing her hand from his forehead): Ahmm, I am your husband.

Avu (raising her eyebrow): So? You would have looked at yourself last night. You don't even care about me. I called you so many times, I texted you but you, you didn't even reply to one. You know how worried I was. I couldn't even sleep properly the whole night.

Sidd (holding his ears): Ok na! Sorry!

Avneet stepped closer to him and held his hands in hers.

Avu (concerned): I am happy that you shared your pain with me, but your health comes first. It should be your first priority. You shouldn't compromise on it for some people who don't care about you.

Sidd (closing his eyes, cutting her): Please, Avi! I don't want to talk about him.

Avu (smiled, holding his hands): Ok, fine, but tell me honestly, are you feeling good now?

Sidd (nodding his head like a kid): Absolutely good, not only good but better.

Avu chuckled, pulling his cheek.

Sidd: Ouch! Now let me get ready otherwise, we will be late.

He walked past her when she spoke.

Avu: You aren't going anywhere.

Sidd got confused and turned to look back at her while she nodded.

Avu: You should take rest for 1 day.

Sidd (irritated): But see, I am fine.

Avu didn't speak anything but glared at him while he rolled his eyes.

Sidd (scratching his back of neck, whispering): Jai is right at his place. His sister is a dragon.

Her mouth went wide open as she heard his whisper. She kept the brush on the dressing table with thud, and it made a loud noise. Sidd flinched at that noise.

Avu: What just did you say?

Sidd (nervously, running to washroom): Nothing! I haven't said anything.

Avu (twisting her neck, narrowing her eyes, fisting her hands): Jai, you are so gone today.

She was about to leave the room when Sidd's phone rang. She looked at the door of the washroom to find it locked. She paced till the side table to find his phone still ringing. She frowned as she picked it up, and what she saw made her furious.
