Avneet was standing in the room's balcony, smiling to herself as the function was over till now, and it was past 11 now. Today was her special day, not because she got a partner it's because she found her love and best friend for whom she can proudly that he won't ever cheat her at any cost. A fresh and beautiful smile appeared on her face. That's when she heard the clicking voice. She turned back to see Sidd coming towards her. Her smile grew. Sidd captured her hands as he reached us.

Avu (out of happiness): Finally, we are married.

Sidd chuckled, seeing her excited. His hands travelled to her hair, tugging her hair behind her ear while her eyes followed his hand. She looked at him when he spoke.

Sidd (admiring her): You are looking so beautiful. 

Avu (confidently): No doubt. I am!

Sidd (dramatically): This confidence has made me mad for you.

Avu narrowed her eyes while Sidd was continuously smiling at her. He didn't know when automatically his hand leaned forward and cupped her face. They both were lost in each other completely. The distance between them decreased. Their eyes went close, and they didn't know when their lips met each other. It was a smooth, loving kiss. Sidd broke the kiss and rested his forehead on hers while Avu placed her hands on his shoulders. Sidd's hands travelled to her waist while Avu smiled with her eyes closed as she heard his whisper.

Sidd (whispers): I love you no matter what.

Sam was sitting there on the carpet, colouring her book with a sadness clear on her face. No matter how many days she spent at her grandparent's home but now she is missing them a lot, especially Vaishu, who became her friend. She raised her head to look at the picture hung on the wall in front. She suddenly started examining the picture carefully. It was the last picture of Vaishu, Abhi, and his mother. She frowned and stood up. Walking closer to the wall, she started examining it.

Sam (in baby voice): Why does my mumma look like di I met at my grandfather's home?

Vaishu's smiling face appeared in front of her eyes. The way she played with her all day slept with her. That's when she again  looked at the picture and started jumping in joy, clapping her hands.

Sam (loudly, twinkling around): Yay, I found my mumma. Papa, Papaa...!!

That's when Abhi rushed there wondering if she got hurt, but he saw her standing there in front of the picture. He frowned and paced till her. He bent down to meet her height and held her from her arms.

Abhi (mad): Sam, why were you screaming like that? You know, you made me terrified.

Sam (holding her ears, making puppy faces): Sorry Papa..!

Abhi melted at her pout. That's when she exclaimed again, jumping in excitement.

Sam (joyfully): But you know, I found mumma.

Abhi looked at her in shock.

Abhi (confirming her, whispering): What?

Sam (nodding her head): Yes, Papa. You remember, di, who used to come and play with me at nanu's home?

Abhi nodded, curious.

Sam (pointing at the picture): di and mumma's face resembles. She is my mumma papa.

Abhi felt a lump formed in his throat. He was having difficulty digesting her every piece of information. He was still progressing everything when she again spoke.

Sam (cute baby voice): Papa, you remember I was bidding bye in the car.

Abhi nodded eagerly, asking her to continue.

Sam (baby voice): She was di only who looks like Mumma.  I don't know if she was my mumma, but she and her face have a lot of resemblance.

She said, pointing at the picture. Abhi was numb till now.

Abhi (in mind): Wait, does that mean that Uncle and Aunty were lying? Yes, they were. Does it mean Vaishu lives with them only? Does that mean Sidd was right at his place? 

He was still trying to connect the dots when Sam called him out.

Sam (baby voice): Papa, I want to go to Mumma. I want her back, please.

Abhi didn't waste a single minute and hugged her tightly, kissing her hair.

Abhi (mumbling in her ear): I will bring her home. I promise.

Sam wrapped her chubby hands around his neck. Abhi's all meeting with Vaishu were rushing in his mind. He concluded that his hallucination wasn't a hallucination, but it was Vaishu, his Vaishu. His drip on Sam tightened.

It was a chirping morning in the U.S.A. Sidd and Avu were sleeping in their room, chuddling each other. Avu's head on Sidd's arm while her one hand on his waist and Sidd's one hand on hers. That's when Avu's phone rang, disturbing her sleep. She stirred in her sleep. Slowly opening her eyes, she sat on her bed without disturbing Sidd and picked her up the call.

Avu (yawning): Hello, who is it?

Avu's mom: Avu beta, it's already 11, and breakfast is ready, darling.

Avu: It's 11?

Avu's mom: Yeah..!!

Avu aparted the phone from her ear and looked at the time on her phone. She got attentive.

Avu: Yeah, mom, we are coming. Just give us half an hour.

Avu's mom (chuckling): Alright, darling.

Avu cut the call and slowly paced till the washroom before glancing Sidd, who was already sleeping there. After 15 minutes, she came out of the washroom to see Sidd still sleeping there on the bed. She frowned, pacing till the bed and shook him.

Avu: Sidd,wake up. Breakfast is ready. Mom is calling us.

Sidd didn't wake up but pulled Avu through her waist, which led her to fall on him. He slowly opened his eyes as water dipped from her hair, making him feel cold. He slowly opened his eyes to see Avu so close to him while her eyes stuck on him only. Butterflies ran in his stomach, seeing her smiling and inches apart. Her wet hair, fair, soft skin, and her pinky lips pulled him towards her. He slowly peaked her lips while she blushed. She was all ready to go out. Sidd chuckled before speaking.

Sidd (whispering, looking in her eyes): It still feels like it is a dream.

Avu ruffled his hair.

Avu: But it's reality, not a reality.

Sidd (caressing her skin): And this reality is so beautiful.

Both were looking into each other's eyes when they heard door knocking, which didn't disturb or bothered them.

Jai (coming inside): Jiju, di I am coming inside.

That's when Jai came inside in a rush but turned his face away when he saw them both so close. Avu aparted and stood up straight, setting her hair while Sidd also stood up looking here and there in nervousness. Sidd felt embarrassed while Avu was so mad at her only brother.

Jai (not facing them): Oh God, wasn't a night enough for you guys. Oh god, what my innocent, poor eyes have seen. May I be forgiven.

Sidd went to washroom in embarrassment while Avu pulled Jai's ear, reaching him.

Jai (whinning): Ouch, ouch di leave my ear.

Avu (mad): Oh really, why? Huh? So that you can again jump into our room.

Jai (whinning): Ouch, it's not my fault. Mom only asked me, and you both also weren't planning to come out. So, I had to do that.

He exclaimed, showing his teeth while Avu pulled his ear more tightly.

Jai (whinning): Ouch, Jiju. Jiju, help me, please.

Sidd (coming out of the washroom and setting his hair): Avi, please him, please.

Avu glanced at Sidd while he nodded his head, and she left his ear. Jai rubbed his ear, whinning. Sidd sat on the bed, tying his laces when Jai spoke.

Jai (teasing): Oho, di you already have started listening to Jiju. From where have the sun arise today?

Saying this, he ran out of the room while Avu glared at him. Sidd chuckled and stood up, walking to Avu. He held her shoulders softly.

Sidd: Calm down, wifey! He was just messing with us, and he is so cute.

Avu (grinding her teeth): I swear, I will take my revenge back and will not leave him.

Sidd pulled her towards him, making her face him.

Sidd (shuddering her earrings): You look Barbie today, and anger doesn't suit barbies.

Avu shook her head, smiling at her compliment. She held his arm, crossing her arm against his.

Avu (signing): Should we go?

Sidd chuckled, and both left to have breakfast with family. They were laughing, teasing, and pulling each other's legs during breakfast, spending quality time with each other.
