Luna woke up at night as she remembered she had to sleep the whole night. I'm not even tired! She thought, getting up.
She sniffed the air. She smelled something strange....An intruder! She bared her teeth just in case it was a pack member, seeking revenge. Then she heard a voice.
"Take it easy, there," It said. Luna turned to see a grey-black male.
"What do you want?" Luna growled.
The male smiled and jumped off the rocks, toward Luna. "I want you," He said.
Luna jumped away shocked. "Me?" Her voice was only a squeak. She knew if he wanted her it must be a spy for the pack.
"I want to have you with me." He licked Luna's forehead. "And yes, mate."
Luna shook her head. "No! We can't do that when we first meet! That would be just...just mean!" She barked.
The male nodded. "When you know me. Let's get to know us. Who are you?"
"Luna. You?"
"Snarl," He said.
"What a name that makes me snarl myself!" Luna said rudely. "Your nothing but an outsider!"
"I don't name myself, Missy!" Snarl said. His tail held high, letting Luna know he was claiming boss.
"Okay, okay, but don't call me 'Missy'" Luna said, eyeing Snarl.
Snarl nodded. "Yes." They padded off.
