Everyone was waiting outside except Sameer. He refused to leave Naina even for a second.
The nurse examined Naina and then turned towards Sameer.
"Don't worry,lagta hai bohat tired thi...aur jo kuch bhi mujhe pata chala hai canteen wale incident se...usse lagta hai shock ki wajah se... ya darr ki wajah se behosh ho gayi hai,Naina."

"Magar Naina ko abhi tak hosh kyu nahi aaya? Sab theek hai na? "
Sameer asked worriedly.

"Haa beta. Sab theek hai. Thoda shocked hai...darr gayi thi aur lagta hai Naina ne kuch khaya bhi nahi hai... isliye woh behosh ho gayi hai...maine glucose de diya hai...thodi derr mein hosh aa jayega. Don't worry...let her rest here."
Nurse smiled and patted Sameer's shoulder.

Sameer said thanks to the nurse and sat down beside Naina, holding her hand.
He saw the hand prints and took out an antiseptic cream from the first aid box kept on the table beside him.
He slowly applied the cream on her hand.

Everyone enters the room after Nurse left.
"Sab theek hai na,Sameer."
Preeti asked.

"Haa woh bss Naina thoda darr gayi thi aur shayad kuch khaya bhi nahi tha... isliye kamzori se behosh ho gayi hai. Glucose de diye gaya hai thodi derr mein hosh aa jayega."
Sameer said staring at Naina's face.

Everyone sighed in relief but still were looking tense.
Sameer felt the tension in the room and asked,
"Kya hua hai? Munna tu hi bata."

"Sameer... principal ne bulaya hai. Woh jo bhi canteen mein hua."
Munna said.

Sameer sighed and looked at Preeti and Swati.
"Tum dono Naina ke pass hi rehna...use akela mat chorna."

They both nodded. Sameer was leaving when he heard Naina's voice, she was calling his name in sleep.
"Sameer mujhe chor kar mat jao...Sameer...Sameer."

He again holds her hand and said,
"Main yahi hu,Naina...tumhare Sameer yahi hai...tumhare pass."

Naina relaxed a little and again gets into a deep slumber.

Sameer, Munna and Pandit goes to the Principal room.

Sameer got suspended from College for a week.
Munna and Pandit consoled him.
"Chal aacha hai college se hamesha ke liye nahi nikala."

"Sameer hum jaante hai usne bhabhi ke baarein jo bhi kaha...use sunkar tujhe gussa aagya magar tujhe dhayan dena chahiye tha ki tu College mein hai...arre usse College ke bahar jaakar tod dete hum teeno."
Munna said angrily.

Sameer didn't say anything. Swati came running towards them.
"Sameer woh Naina ke papa aaye the...woh Naina ko lekar chale gaye. Preeti bhi sath gayi hai. Sameer...Rakesh sir bohat gusse mein the."

Sameer widened his eyes in shock and ran outside the college.
Munna and Pandit too goes after him.

"O bai, ab yahi sunna reh gaya tha...apne ghar ki betiyon ke baarein mein."
Tai ji said glaring at Naina.

"Ab kuch bologi...ya aise hi muh par tala laga kar roti rahogi. Sharad ne jo kaha woh sach hai...arre bol Naina."
Rakesh shouted.

"Arre uncle ji yeh kya kuch kahegi. Maine dekha tha iske Aashiq ko...dono ek dusre ko kaise gale laga kar khade the."
Sharad said angrily.

Everyone looked at Naina with hateful expression.
Naina was just standing at one place... crying and shivering in fear.
Preeti was beside her...to defend.

"Aap sab iski baat ka vishwas kar rahe ho. Isne college mein aakar Naina se zabardasti karne ki koshish ki... Yeh dekhiye Naina ka hath...yeh iss janwar ne hi kiya hai."
Preeti said and shows everyone Naina's bruised hand.

"Preeti, yeh ek pati patni ka mamla hai...woh apne aap dekh lenge."
Chachi ji said.

Preeti looked at her parents in shock.
Why were they not angry? Why were they behaving like they don't care about Naina?
Why?

Naina was unable to understand...what was happening? Why she had to suffer so much? Why no one was supporting her?

She just kept listening Sharad's accusing words. Everyone was ashamed of her.
They were giving her that hateful expression.

Rakesh came forward and was going to slap Naina, unable to control his anger.

But Sameer came there and grabbed his hand.
Everyone gets shocked seeing Sameer there except Naina, who had closed her eyes in fear of slap.

Sameer glared at every person present there...they all had hurted his Naina...he will not leave them.
He turned towards Naina and slightly stroked her cheeks.

Naina opened her eyes and saw Sameer in front of her. She got tear in her eyes.
"Sameer."

Sameer smiled softly and said,
"Sorry anne mein thodi derr kar di. Magar
Kaha tha na... tumhara Sameer tumhe kuch nahi hone dega...ab main aagya hu na...I promise koi tumhe hath toh laga kar dikhaye...unhe bhi pata chal jayega...Sameer Maheshwari kaun hai...aur woh apni Naina ke liye kis hadd tak jaa sakta hai."

Everyone gets shocked to know to that Naina's lover was none other than Sameer Maheshwari...the sole owner of Maheshwari industries.

"O bai...iss manhus ke jholi mein yeh sone ka sikka."
Tai ji thought.

"Toh tune yeh baal ki dukaan hai tera Majnu. Ohh sunn! Hoga tu koi shehzaada magar yeh hamare ghar ka mamla hai...nikal ja usse pehle main police ko bula lu."
Rakesh shouted making Naina flinch in fear.

Sameer immediately put his hand around Naina's shoulder.
"Main hu na..darne ki zarurat nahi."

He glared at Rakesh and said with a smirk,
"Sir...aap dheere awaz main baat karenge, meri Naina darr gayi...aur rahi baat police ki toh uski chinta aap mat ki jiye...unka role bhi jaldi hi aayega."

Everyone looked at him furiously.

Sameer asked Preeti for a glass of water and made Naina drink it.
He then made her seat on the sofa and said,
"Ab sab apne Sameer par chor do...mujh par vishwas hai na...hamare pyaar par vishwas haina."

Naina nodded and said,
"Tum par aur hamare pyaar par mujhe pura vishwas hai."
Sameer smiled and sat with her holding her hand.

"Dekh rahe ho Rakesh...beti hath se nikal gayi hai."
Tau ji said sternly.

"O bai...dekho toh kaise besharmo ki tarah...bado ke saamne yeh ladki apne pyaar ka izhaar kar rahi hai."
Tai ji said tucking her pallu.

"Uncle ji aap aisi ladki ke sath mera rishta tay kar rahe the...yeh kha aur main kha."
Sharad said and huffs in anger.

Sameer signalled Preeti to sit beside Naina and goes towards Sharad.
"Lagta hai college mein jo maar khayi hai woh kam padh gayi. Iss chote se dimag mein yeh baat gayi nahi abhi bhi... Kha tha na meri Naina ke baarein mein ek bhi shabd bola toh aisi halat karunga ki apna naam bhi bhul jayega."
He said in a low and menacing voice.

Sharad gulped in fear but still kept staring at Sameer.
"Tum...tumhe kya lagta hai tum apni man marzi karoge...hath toh lagao fir dekhna kaise jail ke andar karwata hu aur fir Naina ko sikhata hu ki apne hone wale pati se kaise pesh aate hai."
He said and smirked looking at Naina.

Sameer couldn't control himself and punched him hard on Sharad's face, making him wince in pain.
Everyone gets shocked and gulps in fear.

"Aakhri baar keh raha hu...sab sunn lijiye aur tu bhi champu...kisi ne bhi meri Naina ko dard dene ki...uske baarein mein kuch bhi bura bolne ki koshish ki...uski aankhon mein  kisi ki wajah se bhi aansu aaye toh woh insaan ko Sameer Maheshwari nahi chorega...usko mere gusse se koi nahi bacha payega... trailer toh abhi aapne dekh hi liya hai."
Sameer said in a loud and clear voice.

All were shocked hearing Sameer's threat.

Munna and Pandit comes there. They handed over him some documents and whispered something in his ears.
Sameer nodded.

Naina, Preeti along with Bela and Anand...all were just mute spectators.
However, Preeti was enjoying all this.
"Behen, jeeja ji toh aaj sachi ke hero lag rahe hai...kya dialogue hai yaar...uss Sharad ko dekha kaise bheegi billi bana hua aur woh mukka... maza hi aagya."

Naina smiled a little and glances at Sameer.
She was relieved to see him here...she was soo scared of his father's wrath...she knew he wasn't going to hear her...he will believe whatever Sharad would say and that exactly what happened.
If Sameer didn't come here...she herself don't know what would have happened?

Naina knew she was being selfish...she should stop Sameer from shouting at her family members but are they really her family...if they are why don't they care about her? Why they are not angry when Preeti told them about Sharad's misbehavior? Why  are they still taking that idiot side? Why they are accusing her? Why they don't trust her and her choice? Why? Why?

Sameer, Munna and Pandit were talking about something... they all had serious expression on their faces.

Sharad took this chance and came closer to  Naina. He signalled Rakesh and Tau ji who understand and goes closer to the three boys.
Tai ji goes towards Preeti and held her hands.

Sharad grabbed Naina's hand tightly and forcefully pull her.
"Ab toh jo bhi ho...iss Sameer ko sabak sikhana hi padega. Tumse shaadi karke do kaam ho jayenge...ek tumhe patni ko kaise rehna chahiye woh pata chal jayega aur tumhare Aashiq ko uski aukaat."

Naina tried to free herself.
"Choro mujhe...Sharad. Jaane do...mujhe tumse shaadi nahi karni."

Sameer and his friends saw this. They were going to save her but Rakesh and Tauji came in between to stop them.
"Sharad beta jaa...Naina ko mandir lekar jaa.  Aaj hi uski shaadi ho jaye tumse... toh accha rahega."

Preeti tried to stop them but Tai ji has held her arm tightly.
"Mujhe jaane dijiye, Tai ji...kya kar rahi hai aap?"

"O bai...jo bhi kar rahe hai teri behen ke bhale ke liye hi kar rahe hai...use line par lana hi hoga...chup karke bethi reh."
Tai ji said angrily.

Sharad was pulling Naina forcefully. She looked at her father who was helping Tau ji stop Sameer. She looked at her Chacha ji and Chachi ji who kept standing at their place...her brother who was helping Sharad.

And at that moment, she got answer to her every question.
No, they aren't. They are not her family.
Being a family means you are a part of something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the rest of your life.

And, Naina knew they were not the one who loved her...who cared about her.
The one who loved and cared about her was Sameer... Preeti...her friends.

Afterall, family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones that would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what.

She looked at Sameer one more time and decided what she really want to do.

She used her whole strength, making Sharad stumbled as he was pulling her.

Sharad looked at her and this time he grabbed Naina by her arms.

Naina stopped him with one hand and tightly slapped him with the other.
"Dubara mujhe hath lagane ki himmat mat karna."

Sharad and everyone looked at Naina shockingly.
Sameer was first to recover from the shock and he hurriedly goes towards Naina.
"Naina, tum theek ho?"

She looked at him and suddenly hugged him.
"Sameer meri ek baat manoge."

Sameer,who was shocked with Naina hug, just nodded.

Naina smiled and said with moist eyes.
"Mujhe apne sath le jaoge...mujhe apne asli pariwar ke sath rehna hai...unn logo ke sath nahi jinko pariwar ka matlab bhi na pata ho."

He backed away from her and said stroking her cheek.
"Main toh tumhe aaj yaha se lee jaane hi aaya tha...maa toh ghar per apni iss beti ka intezar kar rahi hai."
He tapped at her nose with his fingertip.

Naina passed him a small smile and gets emotional hearing the word "Maa".

Sharad rolled his eyes, annoyed with their love moments. He started going outside when Sameer stopped him.

"Arre Sharad ji apna tohfa lekar nahi jayenge."

He turned and glares at Sameer.

Sameer come forward and gave him an envelope.

"Kya hai yeh?"
Sharad asked.

"Kyu bhai, padhna nahi aata hai kya?"
Pandit said and chuckled softly.

Munna came forward and snatches the envelope.
"Lao yaar, hum padh dete hai."

He open the envelope and read out loudly,
"Yeh Letter Mr. Sharad ko batane ke liye hai...ki unko unki naukari se barkhast kiya jata...apna bora bistar uthao aur niklo."

Pandita and Preeti laughed.

Sharad looked shockingly at Munna and snatches the letter. He again read the letter and asked,
"Yeh kya hai? Tum kaun hote ho mujhe job se nikalne wale?"

Sameer smirked and said,
"Sameer Maheshwari... Maheshwari industries ka malik aur tumhara bhi."

He came closer and patted his cheeks.
"Abhi sirf job se nikala hai...ek minute aur yahi khada raha toh kal subah tumhare mummy pap tumhe jail se nikalenge. Jo kuch bhi Naina ke sath kiya hai na uske liye toh jail hi bhejna chahiye magar...Naina ne mujhe samjhaya hai ki insaan ho ya jaanwar sab se aache se pesh aao...tujhe janwar ka darza diya hai shukr mana kyunki Insaan keh lane layak toh tu raha nahi."

Sharad gulped in fear and goes from there.

Naina comes towards him and said,
"Sameer chale yaha se...mera dum ghut raha hai yaha per."

"Chalte hai jaan. Bss ek kaam aur."
Sameer said and turns towards Naina's Tau ji.

He handed over him some documents.
"Ab isse pehle aap puche main hi bata deta hu...mujhe pata chala ki hamari ek do companies ke legal matter aap sambhal rahe the...toh bss fir maine socha ki main unn logo ke sath kaam toh kya koi rishta nahi rakhna chahte hu... jinn hone meri Naina ko rulaya hai. Toh bss...aaj se aapka hamara kisi bhi company se jo bhi contract tha woh main yani ki Sameer Maheshwari cancel karta hu."

Tau ji and Tai ji widened their eyes in shock.
"O bai, beta hum toh Naina ka bhala hi chah rahe the...hume kya pata tha ki Sharad aisa hoga...humne toh Naina ko apni beti hi mana hai."

Sameer scowled and said,
"Tai ji badi jaldi hi party badal leti hai...aur kya safai se jhuth bol leti hai. Waise dekha jaye na toh yeh apke pati ke sath jo bhi kuch hua usme bohat bada hath apka hi hai...aapne hi meri Naina ko sabse jyada dard diya hai...yeh toh bss Sameer ka badla lena ka style hai."

He turned towards Rakesha and said,
"Aap Naina ke pita hai...apke sath chah kar bhi main kuch bura nahi kar sakta...jaante hai kyu? Kyunki Naina yeh kabhi nahi chahegi...aur main uski izazat ke bina kuch nahi karunga. Haa, yeh zarur kahunga ki agar aapne Naina ko fir se dukhi kiya toh yaad rakhiyega...Sameer Maheshwari, aapko aur apke bete ko dard kya hota hai uska ehsaas dilayega."

Sameer then goes towards Bela and Anand.
"Aap toh Naina ke liye sab kuch the aur sach kahu toh mujhe lagta hai iss ghar mein chahe kuch bhi ho aap dono Naina ka sath kabhi nahi chorenge.
Mubarak ho aapne Naina aur mujhe galat sabit kar diya. Umeed hai aap Preeti ko kisi aise insaan ke sath shaadi karne ke liye majbur nahi karenge.
Aap bhi yaad rakhna woh Sameer Maheshwari ki ek lauti Saali saheba hai."

He turned and smiles at Preeti, who showed him a thumbs up and smiled at him with moist eyes.

Sameer come close to Naina and held her hand.
"Chale apne ghar...apne pariwar ke pass."

She nodded and smiled.

Preeti came and hugged Naina.
"Jeeju ko bolne ki toh zarurat hi nahi ki tera khayal rakhe...abhi jo film dikha di ussi se pata chal gaya...yeh tere se bohat pyaar karte hai.
Ab ja heroine, apne hero ke sath."

Sameer and Naina walked away holding each other hands.
