Yuugo x Reader
Normal AU, btw
You and Yuugo were currently comforting your sick four year old, Emma. How did you get here, you may ask? Well, allow me to explain.
"Momma, Papa! Can I go play in the rain?"
"No. Sorry honey, but is raining too hard. You don't wanna get sick, do you?"
"M-mm! I won't get sick, momma! I promise!"
"I'm sorry sweetheart, but the answer's gonna have to be no."
With that, Emma groaned and ran back to her room. After you heard her door close, you squealed and ran to Yuugo.
"Can you believe we made her?!"
You whisper-yelled. Yuugo gave a light chuckle.
"Uh-huh. I also remember making her, too."
You felt your (s/c) face heat up a bit.
"Ha-I-Mmmmm now is not the tIMeee-"
Yuugo just laughed at your malfunction and kissed your forehead. Then, you noticed yelling and laughing outside.
"Who would let their children play outside at a time like this?"
But then you heard
"Emma, I thought you didn't wanna get caught by your parents, right? So, you should probably stop yelling so much."
"Owww! Ray why did you even have a book out here?! It's raining!"
You and Yuugo looked at the front door to see that Emma's bright orange rain coat was still on the coat rack.
"Shit."
You and Yuugo hissed. You both bolted outside and searched for Emma. You found her in shorts and a T-Shirt. In a tree. Ray yelling at her. Ahaha.
"EMMA! GET DOWN, NOW. DO YOU WANT TO GET STRUCK BY LIGHTNING?!"
"I won't, I won't! Calm down, Ray-"
Yuugo began yelling.
"EMMA HE'S RIGHT! PLEASE GET DOWN! HERE, MY ARMS ARE OPEN, JUMP!"
He was such a softie for his daughter. You didn't even have to lift a finger to get her down, you kinda just watched your husband be a good, actually existent dad to Emma.
~~~~~~A Week Later~~~~~~
"(Insert Aggressive Sneeze Here)"
Emma now had a terrible cold. In June. Rain. Disobedience.
"Emma, princess are you alright?"
Yuugo rushed into her room. He checked her temperature,
"You're cold, let me get you a blanket sweetheart."
You saw Yuugo at the linen closet.
"Damn, she's sick?"
Yuugo gave an "are u rarded" look.
"Just help me take care of her, please."
"Of course! She's my daughter too."
And so you spent the next week making soup, wearing hospital masks, and pitying your child.
I don't know if this was good or not so I sincerely apologize
