"Did you guys enjoy the games I bought for you losers?" Haechan has a silly grin on his face, expectant as always whenever it's about something he did.
"We were supposed to play them?" Jaemin slightly shrieks as he widens his eyes, looking nervous and mortified.
However, they all know he's just joking around and is over exaggerating things. Mostly towards Renjun but yeah.
Haechan rolls his eyes and lands a weak punch on his shoulder, Jaemin continuing his act by scrunching his face so much as he backs away.
"On a real note though, I only played one game." Renjun nonchalantly admits while he takes a gulp of his apple smoothie.
The tanned male beside him pouts after hearing his words, "oh come on! Why? I bought it for you two to enjoy!" Whining about.
Renjun doesn't turn his head to look at him properly β not even a glance β but still replies to him anyway, "I don't know how to play it, I kept dying so I got bored with it."
Because of that, Jaemin lets out a snicker while Haechan was annoyed with him, face palming as if he's disappointed β he kinda is.
"Renjun, you played one game and already threw it away?"
"I didn't threw it away, I just abandoned it on my computer desk." The elder boy states with a shrug of his shoulders, unbothered.
Well, unfortunately for him, someone else is bothered. And that's the one and only Lee Haechan.
"For the love ofβ you know what?" Haechan stops himself mid sentence, his tone changing accompanied by his lips slowly forming a grin.
"How about I come over at yours and we'll play the games until you get the hang of it?" He suggests.
"Bitch, no? I'd rather study or something." Renjun finally turns his head to face him, grimacing a little from the ache on his neck.
"It's a Tuesday, we don't have any upcoming tests and stuff from what I've heard." Haechan said, not letting this go easily.
"Hae, why are you even bothering to do this? If you want to play with someone, go ask Jaemin. Who's literally your gaming buddy." The elder boy emphasizes.
They both glance at Jaemin from across the table, the blond haired boy rolling his eyes at them as Haechan then shakes his head in refusal.
"That's different and you're just motivating me even more!" He chirps. "Jaemin's already good at it, he's nothing to worry about."
"Yeah Renjun, why don't you want Haechan to come over?" The blond haired boy sneers before taking a bite out of his melon.
The elder boy lets out a small squeak from Jaemin's harmless comment and sends a warning glare towards him. He wasn't the only one who reacted though.
Haechan tilts his head as he leans in closer, "you don't want me to come over? All of a sudden?" Breath hot as it tingles against Renjun's bare collarbone.
"It's not that I don't want you to, it's just that I don't want to play games." He says, pupils a little shaky.
Haechan continues to pout while Jaemin bites his lower lip harshly to stop himself from ginning so much.
"I just want to help you enjoy the games I bought, besides, we can bond even more!" The tanned male tries to enlighten.
Once again, Jaemin nods in agreement, not even hiding the fact that he's siding with Haechan in this who's very much oblivious to what's actually going on.
"We literally spend the most time together between the three of us." Renjun deadpans, not facing Haechan and was swirling his apple smoothie with his straw.
"Then, if you want, Jaemin can come along too just in case I'm not a good coach." The tanned male shrugs his shoulders.
Jaemin raises a brow while smiling in silly, so amused by Haechan and Renjun's situation in front of him.
To tease Renjun even more, he widens his grin and his eyes spark in mischief. "Hmm, I don't know, Haechan. You're the better coach and I'm sure Renjun will most likely prefer you than me."
"That's notβ"
"Anyways, let Haechan teach you Renjun. You've only played it once and it's been three days. Don't just abandon it," Jaemin lightly scolds him.
"Yeah, I paid for it." Haechan backs him up as he crosses his arms, staring at Renjun intently. "Besides, what if you actually like it? Give it a few more tries!"
"Don't be uptight now, we know deep inside you're not the type of person." Jaemin rolls his eyes as he finishes his apple.
Defenseless, Renjun could only sigh deeply before nodding in defeat. "Fine, you guys can come over and help me with this stupid difficult game."
"It's fucking Call Of Duty..." Haechan deadpans before he cackles loudly at the elder boy. The latter now feeling embarrassed as he starts nudging him away.
Chuckling, Jaemin stands up first as he grabs his bag with him, "alright, I'm heading off first since I need to use the bathroom too." He announces.
Once he walks away, leaving his two friends bickering on their usual table, he makes his way towards the nearest bathroom.

Jaemin was about to come out of his stall after he finishes his business, but he pauses when he hears familiar voices echoing in the bathroom.
"So, party at yours tonight, Jen?" A female voice says, presumably Amy. Waitβ Amy?
Jaemin furrows his eyebrows in confusion until he comes into realization that Amy's voice is faded and a little glitchy.
They're in a call and she's in loud speaker.
Again, Jaemin isn't one to eavesdrop a lot, that's Haechan's job.
But he couldn't help but stay still inside his stall as he listens in to the conversation on the other side of the door.
"I shouldn't be doing this..." He tells himself and was about to unlock the door until another voice speaks up.
"Uh, yeah. I already prepared everything, so I hope it's good enough for everyone." It's Jeno talking now.
Hearing his tone, Jaemin sort of second guesses himself of what Jeno sounded like.
Nervous? Yeah. Friendly? Not so much. Hesitant? Maybe.
Jaemin shakes his thoughts off as he hears another voice, "well, it should be since you're Lee Jeno and Patrine said a lot of people will be there."
"Don't worry about Patty. Jeno here is good with this and not a lot of people can resist him, I'm sure as long as it's about him, the people will be thrilled already."
"Hakim's right, let's not worry about it. It's a party at Lee Jeno's mansion. It's gonna be fun either way." said.
A sigh was heard as Jeno speaks up again, "is everyone invited?" He asks, and weirdly enough, Jaemin can imagine him fiddling with his fingers.
Hakim hums loudly, "yeah, I think so. If word got out fast then don't be too shock tonight." He jokes about.
A few minutes later of eavesdropping, Jaemin hears them say goodbye to Amy as the phone call ended. Then was followed by footsteps until he hears the door opening and closing.
Biting the inside of his cheek, he finally gets out of his stall as he walks over to the sink and washes his hands thoroughly.
For the rest of his classes, Jaemin is annoyed with his running thoughts as it bothers him to no end.
Even his friends ask him at free period, but he only shook his head in reply while saying it was "nothing".
