[o7] Bedless

"I live a lifestyle full of first impressions."

A Week Later:

They were in Nashville.

In a week, they'd be in Florida, performing in the cities that boasted both A Day to Remember and Toxic Valentine.

For now, though, the bands were putting everything away after another successful concert.

"Guys!"

Carrie looked away from Colby to see Violet rushing over to everybody.

"What?" Jessica asked, looking up from her guitar that had distracted her from getting anything done.

"I've got an idea," Violet said.

Carrie smirked. "Does it involve drinking?"

"Maybe..."

"Hey, I'm in," She told her, shrugging.

The rest of the band, Colby, and a few of the other guys all agreed, so once everything was away, Violet told everyone about a great bar she'd found last time the band was in Nashville.

Saraya groaned at her ringing phone. It was the middle of the night, meaning that whoever was calling her should've been sleeping.

Becky threw a pillow at her from her bed, so Saraya picked up her phone, glancing at the caller ID before answering. She made her way onto the balcony.

"Kevin?" She yawned.

"Hey, Raya," He said, sounding unsure of himself. Saraya wasn't sure where he was, but she could hear music playing in the background, as well as some yelling.

"What do you want?" She asked, frowning. "I was sleeping."

"I know," He said. "I'm sorry. But... You remember Carrie?"

"The cute blonde?" She asked. "Yeah."

"She has a boyfriend," Kevin said.

"Okay..." She didn't know if she was too tired to understand his point, or if he was just doing a bad job at getting it across.

"You might be getting a call tomorrow," He explained. "It's none of my business, and I may be overreacting, but I'm just warning you. Someone's about to make a big mistake."

"Kevin," She said, sighing. "I'm too tired to understand what you're talking about or why you're telling me this, but I'll remember it. If I get some kind of weird call tomorrow, I'll remember what you said. Is that all?"

"Yeah," He said. "Sorry for waking you up. You can go back to sleep. Love you, Raya."

"Love you, too, Kev," She said.

They hung up, she went back inside, and she plopped down back on her bed.

Carrie woke up the next morning.

When her eyes opened, she instantly regretted. Her pounding headache intensified when she saw the bright sunlight coming in through the window.

She closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and slowly opened them again. She rolled out of bed, stumbling to the bathroom.

Carrie's big thing was making sure the band was prepared for the tour, reminding them to bring all the essentials, like enough clothes, shampoo, and a toothbrush. Violet's big thing was to bring things for days like today, when they had terrible hangovers.

She looked through her bag before finding the Advil. After filling up a paper cup with water, Carrie took some of the medicine, hoping it would help calm her headache.

She ran a hand through her hair as she looked at herself in the mirror. Besides the fact she looked a complete mess, she didn't actually look drunk or like she had a hangover. Luckily, by the time they'd be playing the concert that night, she'd feel a lot better.

Carrie put the Advil back in her bag, then went to leave the room. She opened the door...

And closed it.

Someone was sleeping in her bed. She shut the door so quickly that she didn't get a good look at him, but as the events of the night before came flooding back, she knew who it was.

She slowly opened the door again, peeking out of the small space she created, and her suspicions were confirmed.

It was Colby.

-

Carrie brought her head back and laughed.

"I didn't even say anything funny," Colby said, laughing at her.

"I know," She said. "But...but you made a face..."

"Oh, I did?" He smirked.

"Yeah, and..." She trailed off. "I don't remember what it was, but I swear you made a face!"

"I'll take your word for it."

Carrie had been drinking throughout the night, and Colby had decided to drink water after he noticed that she had no intention of stopping. With a few drinks in his system already, he was slightly drunk, but not like Carrie.

"You know what I want to do?" She whispered.

"What?"

"Follow me," was all she said. She grabbed his hand, dragging him with her as she led him out of the bar.

When they got outside, she started giggling, shoving him against the wall, and...

-

Carrie's eyes widened.

She kissed him.

And afterward, they somehow ended up back in her hotel room (the details on that were still a little fuzzy), and...

She cheated on Sam.

It wasn't entirely her fault, she reminded herself. Yes, she initiated it, but Colby made no attempts to stop it. He knew about her boyfriend, but he didn't try talking her out of anything.

Carrie opened the door again, and she noticed the bed was empty.

He had left.

"Oh god, Saraya."

The Brit sighed. Once Colby called her, she realized what Kevin was talking about. However, she didn't know the whole story, because he hadn't made it to that yet, instead just repeating "Oh god" and "I fucked up."

"Colby!" She finally interrupted. He stopped talking. "What's going on? What did you do?"

He sighed. "We were drunk, okay?"

"Just tell me."

"We slept together," He finally admitted, his first time actually saying it out loud.

Saraya gasped. "Colby!"

"We were both drunk!" He protested.

"She has a boyfriend," Saraya scolded him. "You might've just ruined a relationship!"

"I know..."

She realized he felt bad about it, so she decided to back off. "Well... What are you going to do? You guys were getting to be pretty good friends, weren't you?"

"I left," He said.

"You have to talk to her at some point," Saraya told him. "Where are you?"

"I'm not sure."

"Are you still drunk?" She asked. "What does that mean?"

"I mean, I left," He repeated. "I packed everything up, and I left. I'm on my way to Illinois."

Becky walked out of the bathroom, ready to take on the day. She just had to wait for her friend to get off the phone.

"Colby..." She spoke up. "I have to go. We're not through talking about this, though."

She hung up, and she looked at Becky, who seemed interested in whatever was going on with Colby.

"Did something happen?" Becky asked.

"It's a long story," Saraya said, sighing. "But Colby fucked up, and instead of fixing it, he's leaving. He's going to Illinois; I'm guessing Moline, where his wrestling school is."

"He's still an idiot," Becky said, shaking her head.

Saraya laughed. "True."
