"So, he's here tonight?" David asked his sister, the arena becoming increasingly louder as more people arrived for the pay-per-view.
"Yeah," Carrie replied. "He's watching from backstage, and he said we could meet him back there after the show."
"But he's not wrestling?"
"No." She shook her head. "He watched WrestleMania from backstage, too, and he didn't wrestle there either. I think it would just be weird for him to watch in the crowd with us, because people would probably expect him to hop the barricade and attack someone."
"Or do what Maryse did," He added.
"Yeah, exactly," She agreed, nodding.
The two continued talking until the pre-show began, which saw Baron Corbin facing Dolph Ziggler.

The Women's Championship match had just ended, and while Carrie was still a bit confused about Dana Brooke interfering - she had definitely wanted Natalya to win - she was excited for the main event.
Roman Reigns, the champion, would be facing AJ Styles in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. While she had nothing against Roman Reigns, Carrie had grown to love AJ Styles, starting from the moment he debuted at the Royal Rumble earlier in the year.
The match had her on the edge of her seat the whole time. Although many people were booing when Roman's hand was raised at the end, she was cheering because it wasn't a bad match, and he actually looked great in it.
Suddenly, people started cheering and she saw that they were no longer looking in the ring, but toward the ramp. She followed their gazes and gasped when she saw Seth Rollins running down the ramp and into the ring.
"Oh my god!" She yelled, but even she couldn't hear herself over the cheering of the crowd.
He hit Roman, then set him up for the Pedigree, executing it perfectly. He didn't look like a man who had been absent from the ring for seven months; if someone didn't know, they probably could've guessed he was wrestling yesterday.
He bent down, picked up the title, and held it in the air, causing the cheers to somehow get louder than before.

Carrie marched backstage, her brother struggling to keep up with her.
The show had just ended, and she immediately left so that she could find Colby. David simply followed her, and didn't say much as they searched for the backstage area. The building was buzzing, though, so he probably wouldn't have been heard had he spoken.
He heard a barely audible gasp escape from her lips and she stopped walking. He followed her gaze, and he found Colby.
He was talking to Triple H, and Roman Reigns was standing with them. He had his title back, and it was resting on his shoulder. Colby glanced over and saw Carrie staring at him, so he excused himself and walked over.
"So - ?" He began speaking as he approached them, but was quickly interrupted by Carrie.
She pointed at him. "You didn't tell me that you were going to do that! I didn't know you were going to be on the show!"
"It wouldn't have been a surprise return if I told you about it," He pointed out.
"He has a point," David agreed.
She crossed her arms. "I know..."
"It wouldn't have been fair to tell you, but not tell anyone else," Colby said.
"No one said you had to be fair."
She glanced to her right, and noticed that David was no longer next to her. Carrie looked around before finding him behind her, nowhere near her, talking to Dean Ambrose.
"When did he walk away?" She asked, looking back at Colby. When he didn't respond, just stared at her, she spoke up. "Have you forgotten how to speak? And blink?"
That made him laugh, and she smiled a little. "Sorry. I was thinking about something and pretty much just spaced out."
"Okay." She laughed, before turning around to check on David. She turned back to him. "Can I trust Dean Ambrose not to kidnap my brother?"
"I don't think he has it in him to kidnap anyone tonight," He replied. "He had that Asylum match earlier."
"True." She nodded. "He has a flight tomorrow morning because he needs to get back home, so we should probably go. But I'll see you in June."
"Oh, yeah, you guys should go," He agreed, and she smiled at him. "Make sure you sing that song about me."
She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, okay." She began walking away, but stopped to turn around and look at him. "When I see you at the concert, remind me that I have something to give you."
"Okay..." He replied. "What is it?"
She smirked. "It's a surprise, and if I tell you, it wouldn't be one."
"Okay, I deserve that."
Carrie laughed. "See you later, Colby."
"Bye, Carrie."

I'm listening to Talk is Jericho with Seth and Sami Zayn, and I feel it's appropriate to be writing this while they talk about music.
I know I said that there were a few more chapters left, but the next one is the last. I've written everything I had planned for this story + I have bigger and better things to write.
But hey, I'm on schedule to finish this before my birthday so aye
anyway, let me know what you thought! :)
