Months have passed and a lot has happened during that time. At some point, Jason and I had decided to just meet in public because we couldn't just hide anymore. Cheryl told their parents as soon as she found out that we lied to her when she left the diner with Jason.

The Blossoms were furious and immediately told my parents which we expected anyways. My dad himself said he wouldn't have allowed it but seeing the way the Blossoms talked about Jason and I, he was there for me and just told me I should be careful. In the end, he couldn't change it no matter what he said. Jasons parents threatened him that if he didn't break up with me they would take his car and stop giving him money. He didn't break up with me and they didn't do what they said they would.

Cheryl even started to act normal, I believe she actually liked me, just doesn't want to admit it. Betty still hasn't told Archie about her feelings. But at least Malachai stopped sending me messages and looking for me. Even Reggie  and Chuck started being friendly around me.

It's been a usual Saturday evening, Jason and I met at Pops. He sat next to me, his arm hanging around my shoulder. I had a raspberry milkshake, Jason a vanilla one and a cheeseburger. Archie and Betty sat a few tables in front of us. I couldn't stop watching them, she actually told me she would tell him about her feelings today. I just hoped it would all turn out for her best.

"What do you worry about?", Jason smiled at me.

"About the pony tail in front of us", I replied laying my head on his shoulder.

"Your family seems to like the redheads", he chuckled.

"Ha ha, very funny", I playfully rolled my eyes, "I just want her to finally talk to him. She's always so afraid of everything. Now is the perfect moment."

Just when I said that, a raven haired girl entered the diner wearing a black poncho, her eyes immediately landed on Archie.

"Yeah, probably not", he joked.

She talked to my two friends for a while, I watched them. Of course we knew who she was, Veronica Lodge. My parents knew hers and it's probably the other way around as well.

"You're the girl who will show me around the school, aren't you?", she asked Betty innocently.

"No, she's not. I'm sorry to disappoint but I am going to do that", I joined their table, "Elizabeth Specter."

"Vero-"

"Veronica Lodge, I know. My parents know yours and vise versa. Betty here is my cousin and the boy over there is my boyfriend Jason Blossom", I introduced us to her giving her my hand.

"Liz was new here before, she came last year. So if you have questions or a problem, she is to the right person to go to", Jason did the same as I did.

"Where have you been before?", Veronica questioned interested.

"New York, my dad is a lawyer there", I told her.

"I'm from New York, too! It's good to hear someone has done this transferring already."

After Veronica had said goodbye and Jason and I had paid, he drove me home. Arriving there I gave him a kiss and left the car happily but he stopped me when I stood in front of the car. He seemed troubled.

"Is everything okay, baby?", I asked him worried.

"Yes, yes, it is. I uh.. I just wanted to tell you that I love you no matter what happens, Liz", he whispered sadly.

"I love you, too, Jase. But there's no reason to be sad. We stay together", I replied lovestruck.

"Just never forget what I have just told you, okay? I love you", he repeated looking into my eyes as he would say goodbye to me.

No need to worry, I will see him on Monday.

With that I could fall asleep easier. I still worried about him but he would talk to me when he was ready. Sunday Morning I spent with Betty, Alice, Hal and my parents playing some card games. Polly was out with her friends, she wouldn't talk to me as long as Jason and I were together. Just until the moment that Dilton messaged me, I was happy.

an: so, guys.. this is the end of this beginning to the series. I thought it would be better to start a new story even thought this one was quite short.
