In another phase of nostalgia;🦋
~Certain memories I don't want to remember anymore but they still find their way to my subconscious, and I still see his handsome face every night when I fall asleep...

"One day you'll realize it was for the best."
He had said and turned his back
Leaving me with nothing to hold unto but my broken heart

Is this fate?... That I be alone?
love and butterflies, pain and kidney stone

In this strange world
I have frantically searched for love
Time became my greatest enemy
Then I found one that still left me

One sided love damaged my soul
Destroyed my spirit and left me half dead
If only our minds could mend
Maybe we could have had a happy end

In this frenzy for love, I have endured pain
With no such thing as gain
I've made my pillows swim
But I still can't find this love I seek

But no matter...
how many poems I write...
how many solos I sing...
how many melodies I play...
and how many tears I shed...

It still ends with: "goodbye and a broken heart"🦋.
