After cleaning his wound and bandaged it, I collected the blooded towel and cottons and the tools I used to clean the living room. after getting rid of them I came back to the living room to check on him but he was asleep, I would have thought that he fainted if he wasn't cutely snorting

Nevermind.

I knew it was just the relief he felt after the immense pain he felt, otherwise he wouldn't be able to sleep.
Sooner or later he will wake up and won't support the pain so I had to go get him pain reliever, he was injured because of me after all

When I raised my hand toward the door knob, the dried blood on my arm caught my attention. I was taking care of him and forgot myself.

I raised the sleeve to take a look at the wound and it wasn't a scratch as I claimed, it was terrible.

" you can't feel anything " his voice rang on my head

I went back inside to clean my arm and treat the wound myself before leaving the cabin.

I passed by clothes store and bought couple of clothes for us, people were staring me in disgust for wearing a ripped and stained shirt.

Before opening the door of the cabin my phone went off signaling a call I was on pins and needles waiting for.

" we hacked the cameras and deleted all the recorded videos including the incident to convince them that the cameras were broken and nothing suspecious on it "

" thank you I owe you alot " such a relief

" but don't draw attention on you again it wasn't easy to hack them in a short period " said the voice on the phone.

I ended the call and walked inside to jungkook sitting on the couch grabbing his hair apparently in pain. He looked at me when the door cracked " where have you been I thought you left me alone here "

I threw the bag of medicine toward him and he caught it

" take one pill now "

He peeked inside the bag " thank you "

" adding the prices of the bandages, the first aid kit and the clothes I bought you, it's 300$ and since you seem to be too weak to leave now I will add the cost of the food and spending the night in a 5 stars cabin, that will be 600$ and for you I'll make it 800$ since you are a friend. You are welcome, now make yourself at home "

He chuckled before gulping the pill

" I'm a woman of word, I said I borrowed and I have already returned 800$ in the approximation of one day "

" you are interesting "

I changed to the pyjama I bought and went to the kitchen to make a late lunch
When I cameback to the living room with the dishes I made, I found jungkook sleeping again occuping the couch.

" hey wake up " I nudged him with my foot and he yawned his eyes still closed

" I'm so tired let me sleep 5 minutes more "

When I saw that he drifted to sleep again I shrugged and sat on his thighs

" what the- " he hissed as he shot open his eyes " out of all places "

" I have no space on the couch and I told you to move your ass " I carelessly replied as I gulped the tasty taco I made. He sat up held my waist to free his legs then let me go and I fell on the couch.

He groaned in pain, because of the pain reliever he forgot for a second that his arm is still injured.

" why you look nervous, do brave girls scare you ? " I raised an eyebrow, teasing him is amusing for real.

" no it's you who scares me "

I chuckled at his answer

" so what are you going to do? They will keep running after you, it doesn't seem like jimin's dad will ever forgive you " his voice became serious all of a sudden

" let them be, wasn't that fun? " I asked with a wide smile.

" no it wasn't " he shook his head in disbelief

" ok " I rolled my eyes and lied comfortably on the couch

" why you ran out of my house though? It's not safe here " he asked as he licked the sauce that flowed on his finger making a cute sound

" the results will come out soon and they will start looking for me " I replied.

He turned to face me sitting on one of his legs

" they might find the killer why so pessimiste "

I smiled and it was about to turn to a giggle but I tried to control myself.

" what is it? What's so funny ? " he furrowed his brows, confused.

" me, my life.. everything about me is funny " my words made him more confused, I tapped his thighs as I stood up.

" don't worry about me " I said as I walked toward my bedroom

" wait " he shouted all of a sudden stopping me on my track, he was nervous it showed on his voice.

" you said that you have feelings for me .. " he started as he stole a glance and looked away again.

I give you a chance and you lost me.
I don't want to get rejected again.
It was a mistake when my heart chose you, that mistake costed the life of someone who cherished me more.
I might be dumb but I don't make the same mistake twice.

I rushed toward him taking fast steps, his eyes widened when I grabbed his hair and pulled his head roughly to the back to meet the back pillow as I slammed my lips on his kissing him passionatly my hands still clenching on his silky hair. I put one knee on his side to deepen the kiss.

He kissed me back but when his hands held my waist trying to take control I pulled away. I stared into his eyes as we were catching our breath, my stares became cold as I said " but I don't feel anything, I don't feel the pain why would I feel the love "

I backed away and headed to my room leaving him dumbfounded and unable to process what happened.
