Spending two weeks docked on a yacht in Italy was all Luna needed for a successful winter break. She spent most of her days tanning on the dock or strolling through the small cities that were nearby with Asher. Or indulging in the food that they had to offer.
Despite spending practically two weeks by the beach she couldn't wait for the end-of-break beach party that Beverly students had thrown every. Especially since she sort of missed Jordan.
Luna held her sandals in one hand as she skipped through the sand and approached Liv sitting in a beach chair. She had arrived a bit late, considering she was jet-lagged but she still wanted to make an effort to come.
"Hey, bestie!"
"Lover!" Liv exclaimed. "How was Italy?"
Luna flopped down onto the chair beside her and grinned. "It was actually pretty amazing. Despite being on a boat with Asher for two weeks."
"Well you both look extremely tan," Liv pointed out.
"Yeah, well we were on a yacht," she shrugged, sparing a glance towards the other side of the beach where everyone else seemed to be. "There wasn't much to do but tan and go swimming. Um, how was Tahoe?"
"Extremely boujee. We just..." Liv trailed off, noticing her friend's attention had shifted. "If you wanna leave, then you should."
"I just got here," she scoffed. "Why would I leave?"
"To talk to my brother," Liv shrugged. "You haven't taken your eyes off of him."
"Liv, I don't want to leav—"
"He hasn't stopped talking about you," Liv scoffed. "It's okay if you wanna be with him."
"We'll catch up later, alright?"
Luna spared her one glance before running over to Jordan who was already waiting for her by the water with his arms open. She leaped into his arms, wrapping her legs instinctively around him while he grinned at her.
"It's about time you come and see me," he sighed. "I thought I was going to have to physically pull you away from my sister."
"Priorities," she hummed. "Hey, have I ever told you how good you looked shirtless?
"Nope," Jordan shook his head. "Go ahead, I'm all ears."
She smirked softly, running her hand over his toned torso. "You look really good shirtless."
"You know I really missed you," Jordan admitted. "Ask Liv or my mom, I haven't stopped talking about you."
"I missed you, too, Jordan," she giggled. "Ask Asher, I have not stopped talking about you since the game."
Jordan set her down on the ground, allowing her feet to hit the cold water as he slipped his hand into her hold and pulled her over to the sand so they could sit. She sat beside him tangling her legs with his as he brought a hand up and brushed away the excess hair, peppering her face with kisses.
"Will...You..." he said in between kisses. "Finally..." he stopped for a moment. "Be...My...Girlfriend."
Luna giggled at the feeling of his lips all over her face, softly pushing him away from her so she could answer. "Yes, Jordan, I will be your girlfriend."
"So, I can makeout with you, now?" he questioned. "I'm all about consent, baby."
She let out a small laugh, nodding simultaneously before getting smothered by Jordan's body. She slipped her hand around the back of his neck, pressing him closer to her as they engaged in a kiss on the beach, not even caring about the stares that were being thrown their way. Before it could get too heated a football had been thrown right beside them, making them pull apart.
"Hey!" Jordan shouted at Asher. "What the hell, dude?"
"Stop sticking your tongue in my cousin's mouth!" Asher yelled back. "We wanna play some football!"
Luna gently shoved Jordan's shoulder and pointed over to the boys. "Go play. I promised Liv that she and I would catch up, anyway."
"I'm all yours after this," Jordan promised.
Luna kissed his cheek before turning on her heel and trudging through the sand to get back to Liv. She plopped down onto the chair letting out a sigh and was about to speak before Liv had gotten up and packed her bag.
"I'm leaving," Liv announced. "Sorry, we'll catch up another time."
Liv quickly walked off before her friend could get in a word. Luna frowned eyeing the beach for Layla who was off doing whatever she was doing so she picked her phone up and scrolled aimlessly through it.
Spencer approached her. "Not a fan of the beach?"
"Spence!" she grinned up at him. "Hey, it's nice to see you."
"It's nice to see you, too," he sighed, plopping down on the chair. "Why are you by yourself?"
"Oh," she pouted. "Liv left and my boyfriend's off playing football."
"Liv left?" Spencer perked up. "Is she okay?"
"I don't know, she seemed a little upset," she shrugged. "I saw her and Layla talking could've been because of that or it could've been because I kind of ended our talk early to go be with Jordan."
"You think she was upset about you and Jordan?" he asked.
"No...I don't know," Luna hesitated. "For the longest time, it was Liv and me. Now, I'm with her brother...and it might be weird. You know?"
"Yeah, I guess. I mean, Liv's an understanding person, she knows y'all are together," Spencer said. "If she had a problem I'm sure she would say something. You just gotta know how to split your time between the two."
"Yeah," she sighed. "You wanna join the party?"
"Not really," Spencer chuckled. "But, I'll go, if you do."
Luna nodded, standing up from the chair and offering her hand out to Spencer. The two walked over to the remaining group of partygoers and the boys had greeted Spencer before he ditched them for Layla. While Luna walked over to Jordan and sat down on his lap.
"So, is this official?" JJ asked, handing her a drink. "Or are you two just swapping spit?"
"Official," Jordan informed, pressing a small kiss to her shoulder. "As of today."
"Can you keep the PDA to a minimum?" Asher scoffed. "I don't really want to see you two making out 24/7."
"There's always another option," Luna rolled her eyes. "Look away!"
"I just want to put it out there and say..." JJ broke the silence. "I kissed her first."
Jordan let out a scoff, smashing the red cup in his hand and tossing it at the blonde's head. JJ frowned, as he rubbed the spot he had hit.

Luna held her hand to the horn of her car and pressed down on it, waiting for Asher to exit his house. It wasn't unusual for the two to occasionally catch a ride with one another considering they were basically family and spent a lot of time together despite Luna's hesitance in accepting him into her life.
Asher exited his house, storming over to her car with an enraged look on his face, and swung the door open, pointing an accusatory finger at her. "Were you hoping to wake up the whole damn neighborhood?"
She shrugged innocently. "Yes."
"You could've texted me," he scoffed. "Instead I had to listen to you honking your horn like a damn psycho."
"You should be happy that I picked you up," she quipped. "I could've ignored your message and had you walk to school."
Before he could even respond, Luna turned up the dial of her radio, drowning out the sounds of his voice. Asher immediately pursed his lips and crossed his arms like a child who had been scolded by his mother. They remained in silence up until they arrived at school, Asher had informed her that he wouldn't need a ride home but she waved him off, not really caring, and instead walked right over to Liv's locker.
Liv didn't bother sparing her a second look as her eyes remained glued to the inside of her locker. "Hey."
"Okay, cut the shit, Olivia Baker," Luna closed the locker shut. "What's going on? Is it me? Is it Layla?"
"What?" Liv perked up, slightly frazzled at the questions. "What do you know about Layla?"
"I don't know anything," she shrugged. "I haven't really spoken to her since we got back from break."
"Something happened before break," Liv admitted. "But, I'm not sure if I should tell you or not."
She narrowed her eyes at her. "Spill."
"Okay. But this stays between us. Not you and Asher. Not you and Jordan. And not Spencer...I want to be the one to tell him," Liv bargained. "Before break, I went to Layla's house to check on her and her door was open and there was glass everywhere on the floor. Then I walked further into the house and saw her throwing her Dad's records into her pool and she was crying."
"Come again?" Luna raised her eyebrow.
"Do I need to repeat myself?" Liv deadpanned. "I was pretty clear on what happened."
"I'm just...shocked," she sighed. "Okay, so what do we do? Confront her?"
"We...are not doing anything," Liv gestured between them. "But I will inform you about what I plan on doing."
"Why the emphasis on you?" she asked. "Why am I not involved?"
"Because you suck at confrontations," Liv said matter of factly. "I almost broke my sobriety and you said and I quote, "no, bitch." I'm not sure you'll be any help. You're better off just sitting back and watching everything unfold."
Luna frowned, crossing her arms against her chest. "Whatever, Olivia."
"Why don't you go find my brother and play kissy-face?" Liv suggested. "I'll keep you updated."
♡♡♡
Luna's body had been covered in goosebumps as she felt Jordan's hands tracing her skin. She had plans with Liv to hang out but after their last conversation, she didn't really feel like being around her after the comment she'd thrown at her telling her how she sucked at confrontations. She knew it wasn't Liv's intention to hurt her feelings or cause her to be upset but it did sort of hit a nerve.
Jordan pressed his hand flat against her back, causing her hips to sink into his lap while their lips had remained attached to each others. His lips had eventually moved south, pressing gentle kisses against her neck before exposing his teeth and nipping at the skin. She tugged at the bottom of his t-shirt hoping he'd get the hint to take his shirt off which he did.
Luna pulled away admiring her boyfriend's body before pulling off her own t-shirt. Jordan did a double-take, this time he was doing the admiring as his eyes roamed her body. Although they've only been officially dating for a couple of days, he still couldn't believe she was his girlfriend.
"Jordan, ha—Oh!" Liv swung the door open, catching the two in the middle of an intense makeout session. "Oh, my God!"
Jordan threw a pillow towards her. "Learn how to knock!"
"You ditched me," Liv frowned, glancing at her guilty-faced best friend. "We...we had plans. Didn't we?"
"Can we talk about this when I put a shirt on, please?" Luna sighed. "Or when I'm not on your brother's lap?"
Liv sent her one last look. "I'll be downstairs."
Jordan waited for Liv to leave the room before gripping his girlfriend's waist, making sure she couldn't move off of his lap. "Don't leave me. Pleassseee."
"Technically, I had plans with your sister, first," she said as she pulled her arms through her shirt. "Sorry, babe."
"Babe?" Jordan perked up, puckering his lips. "I like the way that sounds."
She let out a soft giggle, standing up from his bed, and pulling his face in between her hands. "Talk to you in a bit."
He let out a frustrated groan, throwing his head back onto his pillow as she exited his room. She quickly made her way down the steps and spotted Liv at the kitchen island and joined her on one of the stools.
"What's up, Olivia?"
"If you wanted to be with Jordan," Liv closed the lid of her computer to look at her. "You should've just told me that instead of ditching me."
"Sorry," she shrugged. "I just didn't...I didn't like the way you spoke to me earlier."
"Because I said you weren't good at confrontations?" Liv clarified.
"Look, I get it, I'm not like you," she scoffed. "I'm not as in tune with my emotions and maybe I can be super oblivious. But that doesn't mean I'm not a good friend or that I can't be helpful when it comes to my friends. Because I am."
"Of course, you're a good friend!" Liv reached her hand out for hers. "You're a great friend to me. But, sometimes...when it comes to Layla, you're just not as good of a friend. And you did say that you two hadn't talked since we came back from break so I just assumed you wouldn't be much help."
Luna bit the inside of her lip, fiddling with the frayed edges of her jeans. "I guess, you're right."
"Are we good?" Liv asked. "I hate when we're mad at each other.
"Yeah," she nodded. "We're good."
Liv brought her in for a hug and they spent the remainder of the evening talking about the most random things. Up until Mrs. Baker had come home with Spencer right behind her which both Liv and Jordan were extremely happy about having him back home with them since things were sort of weird in the house after Mr. Baker's affair with Spencer's mom was revealed.
Mrs. Baker had extended the offer for dinner to Luna which she happily accepted, never turning down any chance to eat. They settled out in the backyard while they ate takeout since Laura's cooking was something no one wanted to eat.
"So..." Mrs. Baker's eyes flickered between Jordan and Luna who were sitting extremely close to each other. "This seating arrangement is different."
Liv let out a cackle, before dashing back into the house. "They're dating."
"Jordan's always had a crush on you," Mrs. Baker nodded towards Luna. "Makes sense."
"Mom," Jordan groaned, burying his face into his girlfriend's shoulder. "Please, stop."
Luna patted his head affectionately as she placed her full attention towards his mom. "Tell me more, Mrs. B."
