Harry
Today was the day of our presentation. I woke up early and stood in front of the mirror trying to fix my tie and my hair. Neither was working for me. "A tie?" Emily asked me. I was upset with her and her constant bickering. Last night we had another argument and she threw a shoe at me and it hit me in the eye, I now had a bruise. "So you're ignoring me now?" She said behind me, causing chills up my spine.
"I don't want a fight, I have something very important today. It doesn't help that my eye is purple." She looked at me and sighed walking over to me to help me do the tie. She did it quickly and looked up at me. "Thank you."
"Honey bear, you seem stressed." Her whole demeanor changed. Her arms went around my body for a hug.
"I'm a bit sexually frustrated." She sighed looking at the time. She dropped to her knees and my breath hitched as she unzipped my pants. I hadn't gotten a blow job in almost a year. She pulled my pants down and then my cock sprang free as she dropped my boxers. She used her hand to jerk me off and then put me inside her mouth. She began sucking me off fast telling me to hurry up. I tried to concentrate on her tongue and her sucking harshly before I suddenly came. She stopped and pulled away making noise before spitting in the sink.
"Eww." She groaned. "This is why I hate blowjobs, Harry." She brushed her teeth. I pulled my pants up and she walked past me.
"Sorry, darling." She ignored me. I sighed getting my stuff and walking to the kitchen. "I'll see you tonight, hopefully with good news."
"It's Wednesday, I go out on Wednesday with Katie." I nodded.
"Well okay then, bye I love you." She drank her coffee waving at me. I walked out of the house and headed to work. Outside I noticed the blue Toyota and smiled walking over.
"Hey Harry, need a ride?" Marlene smiled. I got in and she drove towards work. "I'm so excited for today aren't you?" I liked that a lot about her, she was always so excited and happy to be at work.
"Excited, nausea, they all are in the same category." She laughed. "So how's Polly?" I tried to make small conversation.
"Ugh, that cat is a secret prostitute." I looked at her. "She only goes out at night, can't find her all night. She comes home around 6 when I'm getting dressed for work and I feed her. Then she sleeps all morning." I chuckled. "Is that a cat thing or something because it stresses me out."
"I wouldn't know, Emily hates animals." I shrugged. It got quiet for a second until she spoke.
"Don't you have a cat?" My eyes widened.
"Umm, o-oh I don't b-but my neighbor does," I said carefully. "Sometimes I watch him."
"Oh okay." She nodded.
That's the bad thing about lies, you always have to remember them.

After our presentation, we listened to everyone else and applauded. This was going to be hard, everyone had amazing ideas. "Well, I am impressed." Mr. Edmund said. "We are looking at a fantastic year with all of your ideas. After the holidays, on the other hand, we'll be sure to start with the most valuable idea in my opinion from group 2." My eyes widened that was us. "Alright, don't think today wasn't going to be fun, I brought catering." Everyone cheered following him to the food.
Marlene and I stayed behind and she smiled big squealing. "He liked your ideas, Harry!" I smiled. "I'm so proud of you!" She jumped up hugging me. I hadn't felt the sincere embrace of someone in so long so I hugged her back. She was warm and caring and it made me smile.
Hugging Emily could feel forced sometimes.
"Thank you." She pulled back.
"Come on let's go eat." She pulled my hand with hers before releasing it. After eating we all had to go back to work, so I took an extra plate of food and sat my desk eating. Marlene came in as well and laughed as she had two extra plates.
"One for now and one for later." She sat at her desk. There was a knock and I turned to see Mr. Edmund. "Hey, uncle r- Mr. Edmund." She said quickly.
"Miss Holt, Styles I need you in my office." I nodded getting up and following him. Mr. Edmunds office had the view of Seattle behind him and a very nice dark cherry red desk. He had awards and frames of his family. I took a seat and he did the same on his leather chair. "So, Marlene tells me most of the ideas in your group's presentation are yours."
I chuckled nervously. "Well I can't take credit, it was a group effort." He shook his head.
"Yes, but I like you Styles. I'm putting you in the mix of who will be head of sales, you could be promoted by next year." I smiled big. "Keep up the good work." I thanked him shaking his hand. I left his office wanting to call Emily, but I stopped myself. Would she even care? I walked back to my cubicle where I heard talking.
"So what about a coffee?" A male voice said.
"I'm more of a tea person, so no thanks," Marlene said nicely.
"Come on just one date?" She sighed.
"No thank you, I'm sort of not interested in dating so have a nice day." She said again.
"Seriously not even dinner?" I walked into the cubicle and the guy looked up at me. He was sitting in my chair. "Oh hey, Harry."
"Get out of my cubicle she said no." The guy stood being shorter than me which made me feel stronger. That was a first.
He walked out and left. I sat down and she smiled at me. "Thanks, why don't men get the hint that I'm not interested?" I shrugged.
"Guess it's because we're all idiots, besides can you blame him you are very beautiful." She blushed.
"Oh am I?" I gulped turning around. "Don't be shy, that's the nicest thing I've heard all week." She patted my shoulder making me hiss. "Oh sorry, are you okay?" I nodded looking down.
Marlene
He stood quickly and walked out of the cubicle. Did I hurt him? I decided to follow him to wherever he was going to check on him. I caught up and he walked into the men's bathroom. I stopped and waited a minute before walking in. Harry had his jacket off and his shirt half unbuttoned. His shoulder was bruised. "Hey, you can't be in here." He fixed his shirt.
"What happened to you?" I walked closer.
"It's nothing, don't worry about it! Just please don't touch me!" He walked past me and I stood there shocked at his outburst.

I went home to my apartment, Harry refused a ride home. Polly came out of the room and stretched jumping up on the couch. "Are you hungry?" She meowed. I gave her some food and went to get out of my work clothes. I got in the hot shower and let the water fall over my body. Harry's face came back into my mind. He was so smart and charming, shy of course, but also really funny. He would tell these terrible puns that no one really heard, but they made me laugh.
Crap I had a crush on him. I had to shut that off, he's in a serious relationship. But just because I couldn't ask him out, didn't mean I couldn't think about him. He was so sexy and I bet he would look so amazing naked. I groaned that I forgot my dildo in my room.
I turned the cold water on and showered quickly before dying off. I went to my room and put on my pajamas and realized it wasn't even 7 yet. There was a buzzing from the front door of my apartment complex so I went over and clicked it. "Hello?"
"Um, it's me, Harry." My eyes widened, was I daydreaming again. The thought of him coming over and taking me on the couch made me blush.
"Oh, come up." I clicked the entrance and waited a few seconds before letting go of the button. A minute later he knocked on my door. I walked over and he stood there smiling. "Come in." He walked in and I told him to have a seat.
"I just wanted to apologize for yelling at you earlier." I smiled sitting beside him. He looked at his hands.
"Harry the other night you crashed on my couch, I saw your ribs and you had bruises. Did you get in a fight?" He looked conflicted for a bit.
"I'm clumsy." He shrugged. "Fell down a flight of stairs." He shrugged.
"Oh, well did you go to the hospital?" He nodded.
"Yup and they said I'm fine, so don't worry about me." I smiled. "I should go." He stood but I really didn't want him to leave.
"Wait, are you in a rush? I can order dinner."
"I can't Emily will get home and she gets upset if I'm out again." I nodded watching as he leaves. Once he's gone I began to think about this Emily. Was she like a bitch or something? Who gets upset if a guy is out late once or twice.
Harry was too loyal, god what a turn on.

Work had become quiet again, Harry would ignore any type of conversation and be out of his seat by the time the work day was over. He seemed fragile, I decided today I would try to talk to him before he left. Thanksgiving was tomorrow so we had the whole weekend off. He stood up and put his stuff away so I stood by the entrance to our cubicle. "So you're British?" He looked up.
"What?" He said confused. I was never one to start a conversation.
"You're British, do you celebrate Thanksgiving?" He blinked and shook his head.
"Not really, last year we went out to dinner. That's about it." I nodded.
"Well, have a good long weekend then." He smiled putting his bag on his shoulder. I let him pass by me and watched him walk away. I had to shut down these feelings for him, he had a girlfriend. I grabbed my stuff and went down to the lobby and out to the front of the building where Harry stood shivering as he waited for someone. I walked past him towards the parking area and got into my car.
Before I could even pull out of my spot my phone began ringing. I sighed answering it. "Marlene Holt! Have you forgotten you have a mother!" My mom yelled over the phone making me roll my eyes.
"Hi mom, no I haven't, I've been busy." Technically it wasn't a lie, I worked. "How are you?"
"My arthritis is acting up again, please tell me you and Brandon are coming together tomorrow, I need to know how many people are coming to set up the nice silverware." I smacked my head. Brandon was my last boyfriend, nice guy, completely shit in the bedroom. We broke up almost five months ago.
"Mom, Brandon and I broke up." She gasped.
"Oh honey, so you're single again?" I wanted to hang up, but I also wanted to spend Thanksgiving in peace. "Oh gosh I know, Lori from church has a son. He's 27, very smart and sweet, she's coming by tomorrow so I'll set you two up together." It wasn't a suggestion my mom wanted grandkids and now.
"Yeah mom, I don't really-"
"Nonsense! I'll see you tomorrow, look pretty." She hung up and I groaned dropping my phone and gently hitting my head against the steering wheel. A sudden knock against my window scared the shit out of me. It was Harry. I put down my window and smiled at him casually.
"Please tell me you didn't just see me having a mental breakdown?" He chuckled awkwardly.
"A little, are you alright?" I shook my head. "Maybe I shouldn't ask, but my ride can't make it. Do you think I could get a ride home?" I nodded quickly. He opened the door and got in rubbing his arms. "Thanks."
"No problem, and sorry you had to see me like that. I was speaking with my mother, who believes a woman's place is to have babies and be in the kitchen making muffins all day. I mean sure my muffins are good, but I'm young and I want to explore before I settle down and make muffins for one man the rest of my life, you know?" Harry looked at me and nodded. "You think I'm crazy." I laughed.
"No! I think you're right. Sometimes I wish I would have told Emily to stay in England, let us grow up before we moved to another country." He looked out the window as I drove. I felt like I hit a nerve so I tried to cut the tension.
"My mother is setting me up with a church boy, god, 27 years old and he probably lives with his mother." He chuckled. "Are you close to your mother?"
"Yes, I call her every other day. She's wonderful." He smiled. "Why don't you tell your mother what you just told me?"
I shrugged as we stopped at a stop light. "I tell her things and she shuts me down, in her words 'I'm not making any sense.' I just wish I could get her off my back about having a boyfriend and stuff." Harry chuckled.
As I pulled up to where I usually dropped him off he smiled at me. "Thank you, umm here I have like ten dollars if you need gas." I quickly shook my head.
"Don't worry about it, just be careful okay." He raised an eyebrow. "With those stairs." He nodded quickly.
"Right, yeah I'll just uh, take the elevator." He chuckled. He looked down at my phone and picked it up. "Do you want your mum to stop asking so many questions?" I nodded. He pulled my camera up and put his arm around my shoulder, taking a photo of us. "Here, then when she asks just say that I'm an important businessman who's busy and stuff." I laughed.
"She'll ask questions." I joked.
"Make up a story for me, I have to go. Have a great Thanksgiving." He waved getting off the car. I began driving to my house until I noticed Harry had left his wallet on the ground of my car. I turned back around to head over to his apartment. I parked outside and grabbed the wallet, opening it up to see what apartment number he was. I got out of the car and walked into the building. I got in the elevator and went up to his floor. As I walked down the hallway I could hear people arguing, it seemed far away, but as I reached his door I realized it was coming from inside.
"..will you stop!" Harry's voice rang.
"Why are you so worthless I asked for one thing!" The other voice yelled. I backed away slowly as they continued to argue. I didn't want to leave the wallet on the ground, so I sighed quickly knocking on the door. "Answer the door!" She yelled. I heard a slam and then the front door opened. Harry stood there and gasped.
"Hi, Harry?" He seemed confused. "You left it in my car," I whispered. He took it and sighed.
"Thank you." He whispered looking embarrassed. His cheek was red and his house looked messed up, like if someone had tossed everything around. "Marlene-"
"Bye Harry." I turned walking away towards the elevator. I didn't know what I saw, but it was not normal.
