Dear Diary,

Everything is about to get much worse.

"Showing up to work tonight is not going to be a good idea for Yoongi." Seokjin said as he walked with Namjoon. They always walked together because they were neighbors, but Namjoon was starting to get on Seokjin's nerves a little. He was trying to not let it bother him though.

"What do you mean?" Namjoon knew how everyone acted toward Yoongi, but he didn't really see any big harm that could come to Yoongi at work. If anything, being at work with cameras protected Yoongi from most physical harm. Not that it really saved him from the harassment at all."Did something happen?"

Pulling his phone out of his pocket, Seokjin opened up his text conversation with Jungkook to show a picture that had been sent to him earlier."Look at poor Hoseok's face." Showing it to Namjoon, he frowned deeply."That degenerate piece of shit gave our Hoseokie a black eye."

"Has anyone asked Yoongi-hyung about it?" Namjoon knew this was what was getting on Seokjin's nerves, but he wasn't going to stop. He refused to let himself disregard Yoongi's feelings and possible explanation."What's his side of the story?"

"Who cares what his side of the story is?" Seokjin huffed and slipped his phone back into his pocket."He'll probably make up some story about it being all Hoseok's fault. Jungkook told me that Hoseok and Yoongi got into a fight. When Yoongi started getting violent, Hoseok hit him in self-defense. I guess that pissed Yoongi off more. So Hoseok spent the day at Jungkook's place."

Namjoon stopped in his tracks at what Seokjin said."Hoseok said that he hit Yoongi?" That almost didn't make sense. Why would Hoseok admit to hitting Yoongi if he was always careful to not leave any marks? Only one possibility came to mind. Hoseok must have messed up. He must have left a mark on Yoongi and needed to cover it up with a story of self-defense. But what happened to Hoseok, really? Namjoon highly doubted Yoongi would hit him.

"Well, yeah. It was self-defense, Namjoon. I'm proud of Hoseok for trying to stand up for himself against that dickweed." Seokjin let out a sigh and slumped his shoulders."But as I was saying, it would be dumb for Yoongi to come to work tonight. Jungkook's pissed. He called me earlier, and it was the first time I ever heard him sound so angry."

This wasn't sounding good to Namjoon at all."You don't think he'll do something stupid, do you?"

"I think it's a possibility." Seokjin didn't want to believe that Jungkook would do anything that might get himself in major trouble, but he also thought Yoongi deserved anything Jungkook might do.

Namjoon was definitely worried now. If any of their friends posed a threat to Yoongi's well-being, it was Jungkook. He was the youngest of their group and the most hardheaded. He tended to act irrationally, and Namjoon knew that. If Jungkook thought he was doing the right thing, there was no telling what he would do to Yoongi. The rest of their friends weren't as bad. Sure, Jimin was petty, but he wouldn't do physical harm. He was more likely to just make messes in Yoongi's area, like when he had poured mouthwash on him. Seokjin was petty too, just not to Jimin's level. And Taehyung...Well, he was more of a hate-from-the-sidelines kind of guy. He would only step in if he saw the abuse actually happening, just like he wouldn't step in to stop any of the harassment either.

When they reached the store, Seokjin was very happy to see Jungkook's car. Sure, he didn't like the heavy music that could be heard playing way too loudly from the radio, but he was glad that Jungkook had arrived with Hoseok. Seokjin knew that Hoseok needed to be with friends right now, and they were all ready to support him."Hey, look, it's--" Seokjin choked on his words when he was able to see in through the car windows once they were close enough."Oh my god, they're kissing~!" he squealed.

Looking toward Jungkook's car, Namjoon felt his stomach churn at the sight of Hoseok and Jungkook kissing inside the automobile. This couldn't be good at all. Was Jungkook falling into a trap by hooking up with Hoseok? Or would Hoseok move on to Jungkook and finally leave Yoongi alone? Either way, Namjoon couldn't see this turning out well for anyone involved.

"Namjoon." Seokjin reached over and touched the bottom of Namjoon's chin, gently pushing upward."Stop gaping at them unless you want to catch flies." he said with a chuckle."It's not that surprising. It's no secret that Jungkook's had a crush on Hoseok for a while now."

"I'm not the one who squealed." Namjoon said in defense, lightly pushing Seokjin's hand away from his chin.

Ignoring Namjoon's words, Seokjin trotted over to the car and knocked on the window, getting the attention of the two inside. It summoned a laugh from him when Jungkook grinned widely as Hoseok lowered his gaze in the cutest way, appearing shy. Seokjin waited as Jungkook turned off the music then shut off the engine, the two of them getting out of the car."I see our little Kookie has become a man." Seokjin teased.

Jungkook let out a small, nervous chuckle."I told Hoseokie-hyung how I feel about him today." he stated."He feels the same."

"That's wonderful!" Seokjin was full of glee as Hoseok came around the car and grabbed Jungkook's hand."It's so perfect! You can sweep him off his feet and save him!" Maybe he was getting a little carried away, but he didn't care."It's like a fairytale!"

Hoseok bit his lower lip, acting shy about this."I just hope we'll get a happy ending." he said as he interlaced his fingers with Jungkook's."Some fairytales have dark endings."

Namjoon didn't want to be here. He couldn't stand to see Hoseok acting this way while knowing the truth."I'm happy for you two." he lied."Anyway, I'm gonna head on inside and buy something to drink. You want anything, Seokjin-hyung?"

"Mind getting me a bottle of lemon tea?" When Namjoon nodded and walked away, Seokjin returned his attention to Hoseok and Jungkook."I know this is a touchy subject, but how's your face feeling, Hoseok?"

"Like I was hit in the eye by a whole boulder." Sure, Hoseok's black eye was aching, but it was his own doing. He knew the pain was worth it. After all, it further solidified his position as the victim and covered up his mistake of punching Yoongi.

"I hope you hurt that bastard when you hit him." Seokjin wrapped his arms around Hoseok and hugged him protectively."Just do your best to stay strong. The rest of us will make sure you're at least safe while you're here."

Jungkook slightly tightened his grip on Hoseok's hand."And I have a little something planned for that retarded fucker."

At that, Seokjin rolled his eyes and pulled back."Jungkook, mind your language. I don't mind you cussing, but..."

"I'm not holding back any insults for that jerk, Hyung." Jungkook knew Seokjin didn't like certain words, but he didn't want to hold anything back now."I'll make him pay tonight."

---

When it came time for the designated meal break, Yoongi sat outside alone. He wondered where Namjoon was. The other had promised that they would spend their breaks together. Yoongi was also quite hungry and hoped Namjoon would give him a sandwich again, though he felt selfish for that. He wished he could buy his own food, but he couldn't. He had no access to even his own money because Hoseok kept it at all times.

Getting tired of sitting alone, Yoongi stood and decided to walk around a bit. He knew he should be used to being alone. He actually had been used to it, but he'd gotten his hopes up because of Namjoon. Someone cared about him, and he didn't want to be alone any more because of that. Maybe Namjoon had something else to do tonight. Maybe he didn't want to eat with Yoongi this time. There had to be a reason for him to not being out here.

As he walked around, Yoongi didn't know there was someone else outside with him until he was grabbed from behind. He yelled and pulled away, spinning around to face none other than Jungkook.

"I see Hoseokie-hyung gave you a good hit." Jungkook said with a smirk, spotting the bruise on Yoongi's cheek."But that's not enough. You hurt him, and you need to pay for it."

Yoongi backed away cautiously as Jungkook began stepping toward him."I didn't--"

"Don't even bother trying to lie your way out of this. Everyone knows what you did." Lunging forward, Jungkook grabbed Yoongi and hoisted the smaller guy up over his shoulder. Maybe if he was thinking clearly, he would notice how much smaller and lighter Yoongi was, obviously underweight. He might have noticed the fear in his eyes and how much he trembled. He didn't though. He couldn't. Jungkook was too blinded by his feelings for Hoseok and the desire to rescue him from the big bad.

"S-stop! Put me d-down!" Yoongi was terrified as he was carried. Where was Jungkook taking him? He wasn't carried far. With a monsterously-tight grip, he was lifted up, practically thrown.

Of course, Jungkook wasn't the strongest person in the world and didn't quite throw Yoongi high enough for a clean toss. Not that he cared. He was satisfied with his deed when Yoongi's side hit the rim of the dumpster before he fell inside, head-first."You're a piece of shit!" Jungkook yelled."A garbage person like you deserves to be with the rest of the trash!" With how tall the dumpster was to keep out animals and rodents, Jungkook knew Yoongi wouldn't be able to free himself from the steel prison that now held him.

"Let me out!" Yoongi pleaded."Please! Let me out!"

"Enjoy the rest of your night in there!" Walking away, Jungkook smirked. He just put Yoongi where he belonged.
