After the test, everybody gathered at the lobby.

"Look like about 120 Regulars passed" Khun said as he counted the Regulars.

"FIGHT ME, BLACK TURTLE!" Rak shouted forcing Bam to fight.

"No" Bam said hugging the Black March covered in bandages.

"Hey, Crocodile" Khun called him.

"It's RAK!" Rak corrected.

"Try revealing Bam's weapon here. The others will hunt Bam down in a blink of an eye. Besides, won't it be more fun once he's stronger?" Khun said.

"You're right..." Bam shook his head.

"No, you can't fool me!" Rak's stomach began to growl making him freeze. Khun gets a chocolate bar from his bag.

"Here" he lend it to Rak.

"What's this?" Rak said in confusion and ate it. Then, he liked it.

"Give me more" Rak said and Khun gave him a bunch. Min look at Rak craving for chocolate. Khun gave her a bar of chocolate.

"Here"

"Huh?"

"Don't do it again, okay?" Khun smiled.

"Or else I'll not give you more chocolate"

"Okay" Min said and grab the chocolate.

"Everyone who passed the test is sure amazing, right?" Shibisu asked Anaak and Hatz but they didn't respond.

"But you should be grateful that I'm on your team" Shibisu said convincing them so he showed some of his fighting moves.

"After all, I'm a master of killing arts" Shibisu said.

"Shut up" they both said.

"Don't be so cold" Shibisu said offended.

"I FOUND YOU!" a Regular from the other team exclaimed.

"Look what you did to my arm! How are you going to fix this, huh?" he exclaimed as he took a grip from the other Regular's collar.

"Make me" he talked back.

"What was that?"

"Fighting is prohibited during breaks" Lero Ro reminded them.

"Huh?" everybody looked to the Ranker.

"Who are you?"

"I'm the Test Administrator. My name is Lero Ro" the Ranker introduced.

"Test Administrator. That means you're a Ranker" the Regular said.

"That's right" the Regular let go from his collar.

"He's amazing. He stopped the fight immediately" Bam said while the four eat chocolate.

"You don't know about Rankers either?"

"What's a Ranker?"

"A Ranker is someone who climbed at the top of the Tower" Khun explained.

"The top?"

"It's where King Jahad is. Only a handful of Regulars are insanely monsters like them"

"They must've been incredible" Bam said remembering Yuri and Evan.

"Then I want to be a Ranker" Min said and the two took a gaze at her. Min became embarassed. and grabbed Bam's leg. Khun kneels to her level.

"As you get stronger, you can be a Ranker" Khun said and flicked his finger to her forehead. Min touched her head and Khun stood up.

"More of you passed than expected. We'll have to do some culling" Lero Ro said.

"Culling?" Lero Ro made a ball of Shinsu and created a wave that made the others fly back.

"Shinsu?"

"That's right" Lero Ro strengthened his Shinsu and then Khun and Rak fly away back.

"Mr. Khun. Mr. Rak!" Min ran let go of Bam and ran to them.

"Min!" Bam exclaimed as Min ran to them and then Lero Ro created a wall of Shinsu.

"Shinsu is the source of power in the tower. Everybody breathes because of this water. Everyone within the tower uses this water to fight. Any team that passes through this wall without succumbing to the Shinsu's strength passes. Everyone else fails" Lero Ro explained and then Min grabbed Khun's hand. Khun took a gaze on Min.

"You okay?" Khun asked and Min nodded.

"Team? What if one of us can't get through?" a regular asked.

"You fail" Lero Ro answered.

"That's messed up!" his team complained.

"What you need most to climb up to the tower is luck. The luck to have exceptional brains and brawn. The luck to be blessed with wealth or good friends. You made this far because of your luck" Lero Ro said.

"The crocodile should easily pass through that density of Shinsu. The problem is Bam and..." Khun looked to Min.

"Excuse me. It didn't push me back" Bam said nervous as Lero Ro took a gaze on him.

"I-I'm sorry. I'll go back" Bam said walking to the wall of Shinsu and then Lero Ro scoffed.

"No, you pass"

"Huh?"

"Perhaps, it's a mistake but that would be luck as well" Lero Ro added.

"WHAT?!" Shibisu exclaimed.

"IT'S UNFAIR!" a Regular woman exclaimed.

"That's my black turtle" Rak said impressed.

"It can't be a mistake. We were right next to him, but it pushed us back. But how about Min? Let's see..." Khun said in his thoughts and Bam ran to Lero Ro.

"Min, can you go to Bam?" Khun asked.

"How about you, Khun? Also, Rak?" Min asked.

"We'll pass by later on. Stay with him, okay?"

"Okay!" Min ran towards the wall of Shinsu and passed through easily. Lero Ro was suprised and so as Khun.

"The baby turtle passed? She must be a strong turtle" Rak said.

"WHAT?!" everybody was surprised.

"Mr. Bam!"

"Min!" Min jumped to Bam.

"I passed, Mr. Bam"

"That's great" Bam said and pats her hair.

"She passed without struggling?!" Khun thought about her.

"Looks like this will be troublesome..." Lero Ro said in his thoughts.

Later on, the other Regulars struggled to pass through the Shinsu wall.

"Why don't we make a bet to pass time, Mr. Bam?" Lero Ro asked.

"We'll guess who will pass through the wall of Shinsu first" Lero Ro said.

"Can I join Mr. Lero Ro?" Min asked.

"Why not? If you won, I'll answer any question you want"

"Really?" Bam asked.

"Yes, if you win, you'll answer mine" Lero Ro said.

"Okay" the two answered.

"Who should I answer? I want to win this bet to find Rachel..." Bam saw the lizard girl.

"The green girl will pass through the Shinsu and then the sword boy will also pass" Min said it first and then the two took a gaze from her. Anaak passed through and then Hatz passed through next.

"Is there any reason you chose them, Ms. Min?" Lero Ro asked.

"I just guessed it"

"Very fantastic intuition" Lero Ro complemented.

"Thank you, Lero Ro"

"Since you won the bet, I'll answer whatever question you say"

"Since there are regulars is there an irregular? If there is, what is it?" Lero Ro had a serious look and Bam was surprised.

"Is it okay?"

"Yes, it's fine. Irregulars are real. They're the people who doesn't follow the rules of the tower. The tower is split up into three sections. The outer tower or the residential district, the inner tower is where we are now which can be only climbed by Regulars, and the middle area which connect the two" Lero Ro explained.

"Are Irregulars mean?"

"No, it's just they're too strong that they can be a threat to the people in the tower especially King Jahad who is ruling the Tower. Most of the Regulars spend their time in the Outer Tower. Some of them are chosen by Headon, the caretaker of the tower, and granted permission to enter the tower"

"Does that mean everyone is born and raised in the tower?" Bam asked.

"Of course. What a funny thing to say" Lero Ro said.

"Of course!" Bam said embarrassed.

"Does that mean Rachel and I came from another world?"

"In other words, those who aren't chosen by Headon are Irregulars" Lero Ro added.

"Then Irregulars shouldn't come in to the tower because it will be unfair to all Regulars?" Min asked.

"No, they can. Though, it will be dangerous if other Regulars and Rankers, like me, find out they're Irregulars. Like I said a while ago, they can be a threat to the tower" Lero Ro said.

"Are there any questions? You can also ask me, Mr. Bam. Since tying up with a Ranker is an achievement"

"In that case, had you seen a blonde girl with freckles?" Bam asked.

"No"

"I see"

"Her name is Rachel, right?" Min asked.

"How did you know?"

"I heard your conversation with Mr. Khun" Min said.

"Oh, right"

"Can I ask you both?" Lero Ro asked.

"Why did you two decided to climb up to the tower?"

"You first, Mr. Bam" Min let him speak.

"I'm finding a girl named Rachel. Because I followed her and end up in the Tower"

"Is that all?"

"Yes. She was my only friend. I only live in a cave and a dirty piece of cloth is the only thing I have. It was lonely until she came, I became happier. She's the only person I need and my everything to me" Bam explained.

"That's a sad story. How about you, Ms. Min?" as he asked he heard a gunshot.

"We're out just because we can't pass this test? But that worthless shrimp and the little pip-squeak got lucky and made it through?!" a Regular said complaining and everybody took a gaze to him.

"Him..." Rak said.

"You know him?" Khun asked.

"I forgot" Rak yawned.

"I refused to accept this!" he exclaimed and Lero Ro walked to him.

"I'm way STRONGER! I don't CARE if you're a Ranker! I could KILL you easily!" he said confidently pointing his sniper to Lero Ro as he went in to the Shinsu wall.

"Come to die?"

"One last mercy"

"Huh?"

"Shinsu has no limits. It can make you immortal and grant you unlimited power...." Lero Ro made a Shinsu veil around him and the Regular struggled.

"If you can withstand it" the Regular screamed in pain.

"On the 30th floor and above, you'll have to endure this Shinsu concentration daily"

"This? DAILY?!"

"I won't deny your strength or effort. You eere simply not chosen. That's all" the Shinsu veil disappeared and the Regular fell to his knees crying.

"I threw away everything! EVERYTHING! EVEN IF I GO BACK, THERE'S NOTHING LEFT WITH ME!" he said and continued crying. Lero Ro went back to bam and Min.

"The Gods are cruel" he said and sits down with them.

"Poor mister. I thought everybody was balanced"

"Of course everything is balanced, dear. It's like the Regulars and the Irregulars. There are people who can do and cannot do anything. That's balance. Imagine if all of us are Irregulars, what will be the effect?" Lero Ro explained to her.

"I get it" Min said.

"What's wrong?" Lero Ro asked Bam.

"Do I deserve to climb the tower?" Bam asked.

"If you don't, eventually you'll stop. I hope you'll find the girl for wherever you stop" Lero Ro said.

"Shall we go?" Khun asked and he went to the Shinsu Wall with Rak. Khun and Rak passed through and then Khun's bag got stuck. Rak laughed.

"What's wrong, blue turtle?"

"Shut up" Khun pulled his bag.

"Bam! Min!" Khun waved.

"Mr. Khun! Mr. Rak!" Bam waved back.

"Oh, wait. Another question, Mr. Lero Ro" Bam said.

"What is it?"

"Is it okay if you let her join our team?" Lero Ro took a glance on Min.

"According to the rules, there supposed to be three members in one team" Lero Ro said and Bam looked worried to Min.

"But I'll let you pass for that" Lero Ro considered it.

"Thank you very much, Lero Ro"

"Your welcome. I look foreward to seeing you two again" Lero Ro said.

"And don't get too close to Khun" Lero Ro reminded and left.

"Huh?" Bam was left confused.

"What was he talking about, Bam?" Min asked.

"No idea"

"What's up, Bam?" Khun asked.

"Mr. Khun"

"Mr. Khun, can I whisper to you something?" Min asked and Khun kneeled to her level.

"Why are carrying a heavy bag? Would your arm be okay" Min whispered and Khun was surprised.

"I-It's nothing. I brought a lot of things, you know" Khun said and shakes her head and Min looked at him confused.

Later on, the Regulars who passed moved to another lobby. Bam looked on Khun seriously as he remembered it.

"What is it?" Khun asked.

"Oh, nothing" Bam said.

"Oh? Khun Aguero Agnis?" a Ranker smirked.
