UA Staff Chat

Nezu: It'll take some time for me to secure the chatroom. Three days, probably.

Present Mic: We can wait!
Present Mic: Can I rename the members in that chat pleaseeee?

Nezu: You can :)

Midnight: Oh no! OH NO!

Snipe: Whyyyyy???

Ectoplasm: You're not naming me ‘octoplasma’ again! What even was that??

Present Mic: I'll get more creative 😉

Recovery Girl: Be decent, Yamada. We're heroes now.

Thirteen: In his defense, we're not heroes for this expedition.

Power Loader: Expedition? Well, checks out anyway.

Hound Dog: Might I suggest we acquaint ourselves with some statistics of quirkism before we begin? It's of no assurance if we can't answer despite using that as a reason.

Nezu: You're right.

Cementoss: Where can we access the data?

Vlad King: I'm not sure if it's openly available. I don't think the commission that wants to breed powerful quirks would even bother to look into this matter to research.

Nezu: I agree. That, unfortunately, is the reason why I have limited practical statistics. The ones I have aren't enough and the only sources of basic information I have are the Detective and Sir Nighteye.

Recovery Girl: What about that person?

Nezu: We have lost contact since that happened.

Midnight: What are you guys talking about?

Present Mic: mYsTeRy!!

Nezu: And it will remain so.

Cementoss: Isn't it necessary to disclose all facts if we're working together?

Vlad King:^

Hound Dog: While I agree, I think Nezu would tell us if it was okay. We shouldn't force it out.

Power Loader: Meh, I agree, spitefully. Nezu would not disclose things which will jeopardize our careers or future.

Nezu: Thank you for understanding.

Thirteen: Alright, I'll be off now. Do let me know if there's anything I should do.

Ectoplasm: Same here.

Cementoss: I'll be off as well.

Nezu: Alright.

Present Mic: Byeeeeee.

---------------------------------------------------------

Tanaka-san of the dojo was a kind man with a mutation quirk who loved martial arts. He was determined to help Izuku with his fighting style and hand-to-hand combat abilities. It was Izuku’s third day at the Dojo and right now, he was on his knees, panting while Tanaka-san praised his quick adaptability.

“We should stop for today, Midoriya-kun. Practice these moves in sets of a hundred whenever you can.”

“A-Alright!” Izuku bowed and collected his items. Back in his regular clothes, he stepped out of the Dojo and headed towards the park to meet up with his mother who had taken up jogging in the evenings.

At the park, he settled down on the grass near the pond. Inko smiled as she approached him after her last round, out of breath and face flushed.

“You did great mom!” Izuku complimented, giving her a thumbs-up.

Inko smiled softly and took deep breaths before sitting down as well. “How was your training?”

“It was good. I'm a little sore but I'm improving.”

“That's good-”

“Inko, is that you??”

The mother and son duo turned around to see a gleaming Bakugo Mitsuki with an equally happy Masaru. Inko felt nothing but anger and disgust at the sight of her old friend.

“Izuku! You've grown up a lot since we last saw you!” Masaru commented with a smile, reaching out to ruffle Izuku's hair but the teen flinched away on instinct.

The three adults didn't miss it. Masaru immediately retracted his hand but smiled anyway, though a little uncomfortable now. “How have you been?”

“Inko! It's been a long time since we last met up! You didn't even call!” Mitsuki exclaimed. “How are you?”

Inko tried her best to remain calm. “We're good. What about you?”

While Mitsuki gushed about whatever was going on in her life and how her beautiful son was working so hard to become a perfect hero, Masaru observed Inko’s cold disposition and Izuku's discomfort around them. He decided they'd talk later since they might have interrupted something important.

“Mitsu, why don't we visit them later. We seem to be running late now and Katsuki might be hungry.”

“Oh! You're right! Kats-” She frowned and looked at Izuku, “Izuku, you stopped coming around or calling, too. Are things okay between you two?”

Izuku looked extremely uncomfortable while Inko couldn't take it anymore. “Well, Mrs. Bakugo, why don't you ask that perfect son of yours?”

“I-Inko?”

“Mitsu, we should go.” Masaru cut her off, slightly offended by Inko's sarcasm regarding his son but he knew Inko better. “Inko, Izuku, I hope we can meet later sometime. See you.”

“Wait- Inko what's wrong? What do you mean-”

“Mitsu-”

“Shut up, Masaru! I need answers now! Izuku-”

Izuku flinched and ducked his head on instinct, hands ready to shield himself as Mitsuki reached out to him. She froze. So did the other adults.

Masaru knew immediately what this was and he was disgusted.

“I-Izuku… sweetie?” Mitsuki tried to gently talk to him.

Inko stood up, unable to tolerate watching this show from the sidelines, and blocked her son. “Leave, Mrs. Bakugo.”

Masaru grabbed Mitsuki’s arm and pulled her away. He quickly bowed to Inko and left with a dazed Mitsuki in tow.

In the Bakugo house:

“Yo, Katsuki! You aren't hanging out lately, man!” Extra 1, as the blond called that guy, chirped on the phone.

Bakugo rolled his eyes, “Do you extras think I have nothing better to do?”

“Anyway, I totally forgot to call you that day! You got saved by that quirkless Deku!!”

The hysterical cackling drove Katsuki crazy, “SHUT UP YOU DAMN EXTRA! HE DIDN'T SAVE ME, OKAY?! I GOT OUT OF IT MYSELF AND ALL MIGHT DEFEATED THAT FUCKING VILLAIN!”

“Aw stop it, Katsuki. Just admit it-”

—Beep—

Katsuki slammed his phone on the bed, fuming at their audacity. How dare they talk shit about him? He wasn't so weak to have a quirkless fool save him, damn it!

“Arghhh those bastards!” He growled out loud, kicked his night lamp and rushed downstairs.

His parents entered the house with sullen faces only to find Katsuki rushing past them and putting on his shoes in sheer rage.

“Katsuki! Where do you think you're going?!” Mitsuki screeched.

“SHUT IT, OLD HAG!” Katsuki hissed and slammed the door shut behind him.

Masaru looked at the scene in disapproval. He had a lot to work upon. Mitsuki muttered colourful profanities under her breath while her Husband put away the groceries they had purchased. He gulped down a large glass of water and sat with his shoulders hunched.

“God help me…”

It was high time things changed, starting with himself.

Nezu: Yamada, you can do the honors.

Eraserhead: Ugh… I'm not ready for this.

Snipe: I am!

Power Loader: So am I!

Midnight: OOOHH!!! LET THE PARTY BEGIN!!

Ectoplasm: Okay.. I guess?

Nezu: Your profiles, by that I mean your numbers, will be inaccessible by anyone other than myself. So Yamada, you'll be renaming the members immediately after adding them. I'll add the kid after you're done.

Present Mic: Alrighty!!

Hound Dog: Remember the rules, everyone. Stay in your limits.

Thirteen: Sure.

Present Mic: Okay okay now let me work my magic!
