I was at the stage door at the Hobby Center on May 23, 2015. I was waiting for the touring cast of Newsies to come out and sign my playbill/ merchandise. Suddenly the actor who played Davey, Jacob Kemp, came out and started signing things. He was 2 people away from me when he glanced over to see how many people were left.
Keep in mind that I dressed as the guy from the front of the Broadway casting album cover. I had gotten comments from people passing by earlier in the day saying that I looked like I was in the show (it got to the point where an usher thought that I was apart of the cast and gave me directions to the backstage door).

As he neared me to sign my playbill he said, "Wow, I love your outfit."
To which I said, "Thank you so much. You're my Favourite character"
then he took my playbill and started signing it as he continued to carry out conversation.
"You look ready to take my part. You look like someone who can play Davey." And I just stood there and stated "Well, I wanna be on Broadway, so..."
He looked me dead in the eyes, smiled, and gave me my Playbill saying, "Never Give up on that Dream" then we took a selfie. (The picture you see above)
