More than a year has gone since that day, which feels unreal as things went by so quickly.

2020 was a bad year for many, but I still found a lot of positive things by that time, and you made me actually keep my chin high to be able to look forward without needing to reflect too much on the past.

It's thanks to you I finally dared to open myself more and for once actually find even more friends, and when I have been down, I knew you were there to put extra flair into my life.

I went into 2021 with the greatest hopes yet thanks to you, and honestly? I got an even better year than I expected, and due to remaining positive a lot of times, I could find a new way to continue on even when things felt more dire.

Your optimism really rubbed off on me, didn't it? And for that, I am more than glad that you exist and are the one you are.

I would have never fully been the guy I am today without you, as you have become the puzzle piece I cannot live without. You complete me, and for that, I am so happy.
