I sigh as I roll around in my bed, which I share with Touko, as I realize I still haven't fallen asleep. Faint sunlight has already started leaking into my room, making me just sigh again.

"Dang it, I hate summers in my country…" I mutter as I sit up on the bed

Though apparently I muttered that out a little too loud, as Touko turns around to me and looks at me with her usual pretty eyes, albeit not fully opened as she is clearly still half asleep.

"Stephan, what's wrong..?"

"Oh, sorry for waking you up, I didn't mean to…"

"Trouble sleeping again?" she asks me soon after, having figured out herself why I am awake at 3 am.

"Yeah it's just… the early sun and heat just makes me less tired, even if I want to fall asleep." I explain to my beloved as she nods and rubs her eyes to wake up a little. "I am amazed though that you have been able to adjust so well to how my country is like during summer and winter."

"I always follow my schedule down to a tee, so I adjusted fast by that~" Touko says, now much more awake. 

"Crap, I gotta stop playing games for too long…"

"Maybe, maybe not, but I am sure you are able to fall asleep either way despite long gaming sessions, right?"

"Yeah, I do have you, Touko. You always put my mind at ease after all, and it's thanks to you I am able to fall asleep and/or be calm even in the most rough circumstances."

"Aww, Stephy…" she replies as she hugs me and also plants a kiss on my cheek. "I will always be here with you, and I'll protect you in your dreams, whenever I do happen to appear, haha~!"

"Thank you, once again, Touko. Well, good night then, I love you immensely and beyond."

"And I love you immensely and beyond even more~" Touko replies back as we both lay down again as we cuddle together this time, making me sigh, but out of being content.

(I wrote this one way back in summer, just as a thing to make it easier for me to sleep whenever it was way too warm in my room, and it certainly helped by a lot.

I should have more new short one-shots on the way where, well, me and Touko are just being love doves. I like writing it as it calms me and I really do love Touko so much after all.

Perhaps more about the recent scenario I did where I have a family with her, or maybe, just very, very maybe, do more NSFW Author inserts, because I can't deny that I often get horny over Touko, sooo...

But we'll see, for now, I write things here and keep on self indulging with my love for Touko Kirigaya. Hope you all maybe get inspired as well to write stuff about the waifu you love extra much, or just inspiration for scenarios in your books in general, haha.)
