Right. Everyone knows Hajime Matsudaira.

Hajime Matsudaira is a royal noble heir that is just as the same age of Takara when she was young.

Their family treasures one spear named Otegine.

After the Pacific war, she said that her family along with her and her fiance Hajime was attacked by a fleet of assassins. At this age, she does not know that it was the soldiers of the Pacific War.

So after years of being separated with Otegine, Moriko, and Yuji, she went and journeyed and pursue her life as a Yakuza or just some bloody exterminating samurai.

Before she doesnt have any plans in being a saniwa for she doesnt know what it is at the time.

During the journey along her red stained road, she met a Chinese merchant along the way.

And eventually, she and the young merchant fell in love and planned on getting married.

The Chinese Merchant is Longyi Zhou also of the same age as she is, born on April 30

He then went back to China for some family stuff.

Until, as he was still in a seaport in Japan, specifically, Hiroshima.

Why? Because he was still suppose to get something important that is business related in Hiroshima.

So, he went there and is about to leave at a seaport in Hiroshima until a atomic bomb landed that place.

He was then a victim and died.

Takara recieved a letter from Longyi and grieved for a very long time.
So she planned on going back to her manor's ruins

Long story short, she became a saniwa.

Which is why she doesnt have any final plans to get married with Otegine despite being so close to him, and for knowing him for many many years

Otegine feels the same way for her, but he respects her feelings because he has his own experience in wars like those of her late lovers.

They still love each other and sometimes wanted to marry each other already but Takara just thinks that maybe if they get married, she'll lose him too.

Also, she doesnt really use Otegine in battles in short weilds him.

Sometimes Otegine finds it weird, uncomfortable and downright wrong in the way she weilds him in battles.

She is not familiar and comfortable in how one is suppose to hold a spear, so sometimes, she holds him like a Naginata, a psythe, or a giant axe.

If Otegine complains, she sometimes tries but instead makes mistakes again. Also, Otegine is too heavy.

She might be tall, her legs might be very 'big' and strong, but she has thin arms. She doesnt do lifting excercises like Dodanuki does even if he recommends them to her. Because she feels like she'll look like a man if she does them.

So, most of the time, she would weild Sayo if tantous and night raids, Aoe if its a wakizashi needed, Mitsutada if its a tachi, Jirou since he's the only Oodachi she's got and plus, he's shorter and lighter than Otegine. She would like to weild Tarou, but he's too long and heavy. She might hurt herself. If it's a yari, it will be Otegine. She doesnt have a choice. He is also the only yari she has. Though, she is interested in weilding Tonbokiri since he is the sharpest, and Takara's attack style is most of cutting and trusting and they are going to depend on her mood. If she is happy, she'll do it fast. If angry, she strikes hard and it hurts while it cuts. She is also interested in weilding Iwatooshi.

Most of the time, she weilds Kashuu. To make Kashuu happy, since they both have the same colour scheme, she thinks that Kashuu's appearance would fit well with hers. And that she is proud of him.

So yea. When she fights, it is most of slicing, a mix of some martial arts, no spinning, she doesnt really spin that much when fighting. No cross blades too. She never attacks at the same time and direction with an enemy. If same time, it will be in a different spot.

Example. If the enemy strikes her shoulder, she'll dodge and strike back by slicing the head off, or slicing the enemy's back if she misses.

She never starts attacking. She waits and if the enemy delivers an attack, its either she strikes back or dodges.

She barely shields herself with the sword. Which is why crossing blades rarely happens.

Also, one of the most common mistakes the swords notices when she's weilding them: she accidentally throws the weapon to the air.
Sometimes, her hand loosens grip especially in the first part of a fight. Sometimes it just slips from her hand.

It is quite an epicly funny mistake i know.
