You are walking through the streets of LA on your way to Starbucks. You are lost in your thoughts. A car speeds past as the passenger opens fire. Only one of the bullets manages to hit you. You grasp your stomach as the pain shoots through you.

"Somebody call 911," you manage to say before you pass out. Two minutes later you are now semi-conscious.

"I need to talk to (Y/N) (Y/L/N)," you mumble as you slip back into unconsciousness. Five hours later you've come around to find (Y/N) sitting at the end of your bed.

"What are you doing here?" You ask. You are a little disoriented but you soon come around

"I was sent by Captain Yates because he has asked me to protect you since we found evidence that the drive-by was intentional," (Y/N) responds

"And I was told you need to see me anyway"

"Yes I did I think," you can't quite recall the details

"I stopped by space X headquarters because I think you'll need this," (Y/N) passes you your laptop and your face lights up because you don't have to worry about work. You place it on the table.

"Thank you,"

"No Worries," (Y/N) responds returning your smile

"Anyway how long have you been here?" you ask because you can see the stress on (Y/N)'s face

"Thirty minutes why?" She is a little confused by your question

"Because I'm just curious," You respond. You hear (Y/N)'s message tone. She checks it

"I have to go. The captain wants to see me in the cafeteria," (Y/N) sighs as she gathers her stuff.

"I'll be back," She leaves. You Shuffle to get comfortable but it hurts. You wince at the pain but you ignore it. You open the laptop and you log in. You start checking your emails but you don't get far.

"Boss, what are we going to do about the launch event?" Your assistant remarks as he bursts in.

"What do you mean Julian?" You are a little confused because you haven't given it much thought.

"Are we going to postpone it or are we going ahead with it?" Julian responds

"I don't know yet. I'll have to ask (Y/N)," you reply thinking that (Y/N) could help you make up your mind. Ten minutes later (Y/N) has come back and Julian is still there

"Julian meet (Y/N)," you decide to introduce them because you get the feeling they will be working together.

"Nice to meet you. Anyway I need to ask you something," Julian remarks

"Go for it," (Y/N) responds

"Ok so Elon has a launch event for the falcon 10x rocket and we don't know if we should go ahead as planned. Do you think you can provide security?" Julian rattles off

"Umm I'll have ask my captain but I think we can do something," (Y/N) hesitates with her answer

"Two hundred people are invited so I think you might want to look into private security," you suggest

"And Julian we should go as planned," you are glad you made up your mind about the launch event.

"I'll talk to Captain Yates about it," (Y/N) adds.

"You should relax (Y/N)," you have picked up on her stress

"Not till the shooter is caught," She declares which puts your mind at ease.
