Naruto sat at his new desk that was just outside Itachi's office, looking around to see what he had. The stacks of files on his table looks awful, what was the previous secretary doing? Naruto begun by quickly sorting things into categories then jotting down the important dates. Naruto scanned through most of the documents an hour later, doing all the necessary things with the documents before putting them aside.
Itachi sat his table, looking over when his phone kept turning on with notifications. 'Naruto has sent you an invite to an event.' Itachi raised an eyebrow, picking up his phone to see what it was. Turns out, Naruto has utilised the calendar's event invite function to help Itachi set a reminder on his phone, doing it on the go to ensure everything is done as quickly as possible with no clashing. Plus, Itachi can decline the event and Naruto can either reschedule or tell the client that Itachi was not free to attend.
No body has ever thought to do that, they always jotted it down and gave him a list which he had to set reminders for himself or tell them he didn't want to go. Itachi smiled to himself, he can see that Naruto is possibly going to be the first secretary that he will keep for more than 2 months. He was broken out from his thoughts when the phone rang. "Itachi? There's a meeting with the executives in 10 minutes, I have prepared all the documents, would you like me to pass it to someone to bring it down?"
"No, you will come with me to this meeting." Itachi said, almost laughing when he could hear Naruto spluttering in shock, first hour into the job and he has to face the executives. 'He is so efficient... he managed to sort through all that documents and still have time to prepare the documents I need?'

Itachi opened the door making Naruto jump in fright. He was so focused on calculating the data that he lost track of time. "Sorry! I- "
"Don't worry, your job doesn't require you to open my door." Itachi muttered, making Naruto flush in embarrassment.
"What are you doing?" Itachi asked curiously as he saw that all the files that were present before was cleared away already and in front of Naruto, a thick file that he didn't remember being on the desk.
"I, uh, well the numbers didn't look right so I decided to do a quick analysis before sending it in to you. I'm sorry I didn't mean to be nosy." Naruto said, thinking he did something wrong already. Itachi glanced up to see one of his worker giving him a wink; they always did this to screw with the newbie secretaries, trying to push them off the high ranking seat so that they could have a chance at being so close to Itachi.
"No," Naruto flinched, mentally preparing to be reprimanded, "you did excellent. You are the first one to have actually done your job as my secretary, read things before sending the important ones to me." Itachi said leaning on the table, comfortable with showing such relaxation around the blond as Naruto's 'office' was quite private, it was a connecting room between Itachi's office and the main office of that level. Admittedly, Itachi demands that his secretary be able to do things that normal secretaries are not required to do but it seems that Naruto can keep up but it's only the first day of the job, they'll see if Naruto can actually fulfill Itachi's every demand.

Itachi walked into the meeting room of the awaiting executives of each branch of the Corporation already in their seats. His brother, Sasuke, sat next to him. Sasuke was given the position after Itachi took over the position as CEO from their father who gave Sasuke nothing. Sasuke has since proven that he was more than capable of being the team leader of a branch, slowly changing the perception of their father. Naruto came in a little later, distributing the files in hand.
"Dobe?" Naruto was about to leave to get Itachi coffee, seeing as he was the only one without a drink, when he heard the familiar nickname. Everyone in the room froze, Sasuke was staring at his secretary like he was about to murder him.
"Sasuke don't be rude to my secretary." Itachi almost hissed when he saw the hurt look flash across Naruto's face at the angry tone. He didn't know why he was so overprotective of Naruto but that wasn't the time for thinking about it.
Naruto turned and Sasuke exploded in anger and... relief?
"You stupid idiot! I thought you were dead!" Sasuke yelled, sounding angry.
"Sasuke please. Not now."
"What the fuck do you mean not now? The last I heard about you was you got hit by a truck and straight into the ocean you went!" Naruto winced, that was something he didn't want people to know about. Now they are gonna spread gossips and rumors about, suggesting maybe he was in some kind of mafia that's why a truck targeted him or something. We never know what they can come up with. Itachi was shocked, how is the blond still moving fine?
"I'm fine now aren't I?" Naruto snarled, sounding equally angry. "You never cared then, why do you care now?" Naruto sneered, turning on his heels and leaving to get his boss something to drink. Sasuke looked taken aback by that before he mumbled a quick 'excuse me' and sprinted after the blond.
