The next day Jenny hunted down Raphael, finding him outside working on his bike. Sky was nowhere to be seen.

"Have you seen Sky?" She asked.

"No."

"Good, I was kind of hoping you would take me to my place so I can grab some things."

"Do you think your brother would want that?" He asked as he stood.

"Probably not that's why I'm asking you."

He shook his head then motioned to his bike, almost as if he was daring her to back out. The only person she had ever ridden on a bike with was Sky and that made her nervous but she really just wanted to go home for a short while.

"Hop on," He said.

She debated a second longer before swinging on the bike, wincing as she did so. Sky was definitely well endowed and being her first time, she was still slightly sore.

Raphael settled in front of her, kicking up the kick stand and starting his bike. Jenny slid a little closer, wrapping her arms around him and holding on as they moved onto the street.

It didn't take long for them to reach her apartment and she was glad to be off of the bike, Raphael climbed off behind her and followed her up to her apartment.

"I really appreciate you bringing me," She said.

"No problem."

He followed her inside and as she busied herself checking her house plants he walked around her living room. Looking at all the pictures of her and her friends, her and her father, her and Sky.

"So.....how long have you known your brother?" He asked.

"He's not my brother and since I was sixteen."

"You two really are close, aren't you?" He asked with a heavy sigh.

"Yeah."

She didn't mention the fact that just yesterday she'd lost her virginity to Sky and let it go at they were close, Raphael could interpret it as he wanted.

She turned from watering a plant and suddenly he was there, right behind her and her chest collided into his. She paused and looked up at him.

"What.....what are you doing?" She asked softly.

"Just doing an experiment," He mumbled.

Taking her face in his hands he lowered his lips to hers. She froze, she didn't kiss him back but she didn't push him away, they were friends and she didn't want to offend him. He kissed her for a long minute and then he pulled away with a heavy sigh.

"So, that's how it is." He said.

"How what is?" She asked.

"You and Sky."

Her heart dropped and she tensed, was it that obvious? Did everyone know? She tried to take a deep breath but wasn't able too.

"I kind of figured," He said with a shrug.

"Is it that obvious?"

"No, not really. Just....had a hunch."

She dropped her head and he backed away, giving her some space. He pushed a hand through his hair.

"I'm going to go for a walk, get a drink or something. Will you be okay here for a few minutes?"

"Yeah, of course."

He hurried to get out of the apartment leaving her alone, and she was glad for that. She collapsed onto her couch, it felt good to be among her own things, alone in the privacy of her own home. She had started to doze off when the door swung open, she didn't stand, thinking it was Raphael.

"Back already?" She asked.

"Hello beautiful."

Her blood ran cold and her stomach dropped, that voice. She would know that voice anywhere it would haunt her for the rest of her days. Slowly she stood and turned to see the man who had tortured her.

"H....h....how did you find me?" She asked.

"Ready for round two love?"

She turned running for her bedroom, she almost made it before he tackled her to the floor. Her body harshly colliding with the hardwood his weight propelling her into it. She was still sore from the last attack and she saw stars when her head hit the floor.

He flipped her over pinning her beneath him with his weight, his hands going around her neck. Her hands clawed at his arms, legs kicking wildly but he was too heavy and too strong. Just before she blacked out he let go, her throat burned lungs aching as she choked on the air she was trying to pull in. Rolling over she flipped to her stomach, trying to pull herself into the hallway.

He stood letting her go for a bit she managed to get to the hallway before he grabbed her again, she clawed at the floors, trying to get leverage. She felt her nails tear from her fingertips as she clawed the floors. Reaching out she reached for anything, knocking over the small stand in the hallway.

The wooden stand her father made her fell over, it's contents spilling across the floor. She reached out catching hold of a picture of her and Sky, she smashed the picture frame into his face, shards of glass embedding in her palm. It was enough and he let go, she shoved to her feet, slipping on the rug she stumbled back the hall into her bedroom.

She dove for her dresser pulling out the gun that Sky insisted she not only have but learn to shoot.

Sky ducked under the caution tape, pushing his way through the gathering crowd, the reporters and the police. He forced his way into her building running up the stairs, a cop tried to stop him when he reached the top.

"My sister lives here!" He yelled.

The cop stepped aside as he rushed into her apartment, a table was knocked over and the rugs were tore up. Obviously a struggle had taken place, he saw a body bag off to one side as well as an outline of a body and a large pool of blood. There was no sign of Jenny. Turning he hurried down the stairs outside, he felt dizzy and almost sick.

"Jenny!" He called out but she didn't answer.

He hit the grass outside and saw the ambulance, someone was injured he started towards the ambulance.

"Jenny!"

A few of the EMT's stepped aside and he saw her, sitting in the back of the ambulance wrapped in a blanket. He rushed towards her and had barely reached her before she was reaching for him with open arms.

"Sky!"

He lifted her into his arms, holding her close as she sobbed into his shoulder, clinging to him for dear life.

"Shhh, I'm here, I'm here." He soothed.

"I....I....I shot him, Sky.....I shot him."

"Shhh."

He ran a hand through her long brown hair trying to soothe her anyway he could, she was shaking like a leaf as she sobbed. He shouldn't have left her alone, he knew that now and he felt like an ass.

"It's okay, I'm here. I'm here now, I'm not leaving you again."

Over her shoulder he saw Raphael standing off to the side talking to a cop, he pulled Jenny closer. Seeing the other man made him want to keep her as close as possible. Raphael started towards them but Sky backed up, pulling Jenny with him.

"Jenny, are you okay?" Raphael asked.

Sky set her aside, storming back towards Raphael.

"Where the hell were you!?" Sky demanded.

"I just went around the block," Raphael said.

"You should have bee watching her!"

"You should too! If you weren't too busy screwing with her head!"

Sky lay Raphael out with one punch and the cops swarmed towards him instantly, he put up his hands in surrender.

"I'm done, I'm done." He promised.

Raphael slowly pushed to his feet, wiping the blood that now was pouring from his lip.

"Get the hell out of here," Sky warned.

"I'm going."

Raphael cast one more longing glance and Jenny who was standing off to one side, then he walked back to his bike, swung on and was gone.

Sky turned walked back to his sister, she clutched the blanket closer to herself still shaking like a leaf. Sky took the blanket edge gently and pulled it down, examining the bruises on her neck, his fingers brushing gently against her cheeks.

"Where are you hurt?" He asked gently.

"I'll be fine."

Her hand was bandaged and her neck was bruised but other than that and some small scratches she was thankfully unharmed.

"Where were you?" She asked.

"I went to talk to Dad about something, I'm sorry."

Her lower lip trembled, tears filling her eyes as Sky pulled her close again. He glanced over his shoulder at a nearby EMT.

"Can I take her home?" He asked.

"Yes, I think so."

"Come on baby," He turned her gently and led her back to where his car sat waiting.

After tucking her into the passenger seat he headed back to the clubhouse, his only thought was to tuck Jenny away safely and this time make sure she stayed there and stayed safe.
