well, that was... interesting.

seriously, I never thought that would happen. I always thought Scott was pretty morally gray, but I guess not. oh well.

we were always on different sides, but we had a civil relationship. he's helped me with finding spells and potion ingredients more than once, and in return, I would help him find flowers and taught him some helpful potions such as healing and slow falling. before I joined the Aqua coven we had potion sessions as he called them where we would teach each other potions and learn new ones. those helped me learn to defend myself. they stopped after the coven let me join, but we had one a few days ago. we learned about fire resistance potions and made some batches together. I'll miss that.

ok, we were really good friends. happy?

as I walked through the woods, I could hear the trees speaking, their whispers echoing around the quiet path. when I first gained my magic, I was six, and I was walking with my mother through the forest as she told me about the different trees. she had told me something about the dark oak trees and I had heard a whisper that it was incorrect. I told my mother that, and she was surprised that I had gained my magic early. nature witches usually developed their magic around eleven years old. it turned out to be a fluke thing. I didn't actually develop my magic. apparently, I had a special kind of nature magic that allowed me to speak to plants. it was overwhelming for six-year-old me to say the least, but now I wouldn't trade it for the world. I soon learned that roses were extremely dramatic, birch was pretty shy, and tulips loved to make jokes. and when I turned eleven and got my actual magic, the voices were almost amplified.

I stopped for a second, listening to the voices overlapping over each other. over the years, I learned that each species had a different voice. so that child-like giggle was the dandelions, the British accent belonged to the spruce trees, and the asters had a dulcet tone to them.

I could hear chatter about an incident in the woods near Scott's house, and a similar situation by joeys house. something about the moss seeing someone faint? what? maybe I should go check-

just as that thought ran through my head, something hit my head and I fell. A bursting pain sliced through my brain right before it all went black.

I awoke to the sound of a familiar voice panicking. who was that? I slowly sat up, wincing. "oh thank supreme your awake!" the voice said. I look over to see a wall of iron bars looking into another little room where a pink-haired figure stood anxiously. "pris?"

"oh my, we were so worried! you were out for an hour, that hasn't happened before. wait, we? hi tiff." another voice said. was that Shelby?

"yeah, yeah, hi Tiff, does anyone else care that it's just El and Scott now right? el's not that powerful and I hope I don't have to explain why Scott is a terrible idea." a voice I identified as Joey snarked. "el's powerful! you're just jealous. oh yeah, I forgot you would sell your soul for her." he remarked. pris opened her mouth but was cut off by... cleo? "will you two shut up?"

I simply listened to the little bluebell on the table, tuning out the others.

i hope someone saves us, or someones going to snap...
