After an intense battle with Donkey Kong, Y/n was resting outside Cranky's Cabin with S/n as Peach gave him an ice pack for his bruises.

Y/n: "Ow... Thanks, princess."

Peach: "That was incredible! He kept beating you senseless..." *Lightly punches Y/n's arm repeatedly* "...and you just kept getting back up?! You just don't know when to quit!"

S/n: "Well, when it comes to my lil' bro, nothing stops him because he has the determination."

Y/n: "Huh, well, never thought of that as a good thing."

Peach: "It's not a good thing. It's a GREAT thing."

Y/n: *Felt touched & blushed* "Thanks."

DK, on the other hand, wasn't convinced at all as he interrupted the conversation.

DK: "I let him win, just for the record."

Y/n: "If it makes you feel any better I'll let that one slide. No hard feelings, right, DK?"

Donkey Kong only pouted.

S/n: "Really? Well, big guy, Why would you do something to let my lil' bro win?"

DK: "You want to know why? It's-" *throws a barrel at Y/n but dodges* "MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, that's why!"

S/n: "Oi! Pick on someone your own size, giant monkey!"

Cranky: "Enough!" *Hits both Donkey Kong and S/n with his staff* "Get inside!"

Inside Cranky's Cabin was a world map displayed on the wall. Fortunately for our heroes, the Kongs were always prepared.

Cranky: "Now, we've located Bowser's ship. He's gonna arrive at the Mushroom Kingdom by sundown! Lucky for you guys, I got a shortcut!"

Peach: "We beat him there and ambush him!"

Cranky: "Yeah, I know. That's why, we're gonna need karts!"

S/n: *Gasped* "Did he say-?"

Y/n: "KARTS!?"

That's right... Karts! Our scene changes to the Jungle Kingdom's Kart Workshop where the Kong Army is gearing themselves and building their karts for the battle against Bowser. Our heroes ride an elevator down to the workshop's garage where many karts are being built by the Kong army. Y/n & S/n were amazed by this.

Y/n & S/n: *Astonished* "Wow..."

Cranky: "Well, what are you waiting for? Pick your karts!"

Y/n & S/n didn't even hesitate as they, Toad and Peach went over to a kart-building mechanism piloted by a Kong mechanic. There were many kart and bike parts to choose from. The mechanism is designed from Mario Kart 8 & MK8 DX.

Y/n & S/n see Peach and Toad choosing their own karts, the siblings did it as well with no hesitation. Y/n's kart was built and was designed to be a speed demon, The Circuit Special!

S/n was in her punk biker gear and her vehicle is a bike, like it was built back in the 1980's. Not only that, but it was also built for speed.

The siblings saw each other in their own vehicles and were impressed, but it was not as impressive when Peach drove out on her stallion, the Mach Bike!

 And last but least, Toad drove up with his SUV, the Tiny Titan kart.

He was feeling confident in his kart, but his kart was rocking him back and forth too much as Peach & S/n giggled and Y/n shocked his head. After that, our heroes pulled as Y/n & S/n pulled up next to Donkey Kong in a kart with two large rocket barrels.

DK: *Whispers to the siblings* "I hate you both."

S/n: *Whispers back* "Love ya, too."

Peach: "To the Mushroom Kingdom, and the biggest fight of our lives."

Y/n: "Winners take all, losers recall."

S/n: "And the big fat Koopa will fall!"

Peach: "Here...we...go!"

Everyone sped off, following behind Peach as the Kongs in the workshop cheered and wished them good luck!

Meanwhile...

Bowser put a white-top on his hat and held a bouquet of Piranha Plants.

Bowser: "Princess Peach... Here we are..." *chuckles* "I guess...love really makes a guy come out of his shell." *chuckles*

The Piranha Plants begin to snap fiercely. Bowser throws them to the ground and stomps them to silence.

Bowser: *Chucked sheepishly and breathes in* "Let's rule the world. Together. Forever. Will you marry me?"

Bowser is shown to be practicing his proposal with Kamek in a Peach costume.

Kamek: "Oh, yes! I will!"

Bowser: *Stops practicing* "How did I do, Kamek? Was the line... Y'know?"

Kamek: "Oh, sire! It's perfect! I told you that I would be a better actor for this rehearsal than the other feminine prisons a few hours ago."

Bowser: "Well... don't tell the others... but I think you're-"

Suddenly the Koopa General barged in unannounced.

Koopa General: "Ahem."

Bowser & Kamek: *Startled* "AAAHHH!!!"

Koopa General: "Your highness-" *Sees Bowser & Kamek during the rehearsal* "Was I interrupting important, sire?"

Bowser: "Uhh... Nothing important..." *Chuckles sheepishly but gets back into character* "What is it, General?"

Koopa General: "We have found the princess and the two humans. The human named Y/n L/n has defeated Donkey Kong and won the Kong army."

Bowser: "So, like, Peach wasn't super impressed, was she?"

Koopa General: "It appears so, yes. They are heading towards their secret passage to ambush us!"

Bowser: "Oh, they think they can surprise me, huh? Two can play at that game. Alert the troops, General!"

Our heroes and the Kong Army raced through the Jungle Kingdom' secret passage and arrived at the waterfall passage. While driving on the way, Y/n sees the road up ahead leads to a ramp.

Y/n: "Uh... nobody panic, but the road's about to end!"

Cranky: "Well then, you better step on the gas and buckle up, kid!" *Laughs*

Sure enough, the Kong Army drove fast and as for Y/n, he crossed his fingers and floored on the accelerator and went faster!

Y/n: "WAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

Y/n did what Cranky says, causing him to be pulled to the front of the other Kongs. The group rides up the ramp and soars through the clouds, landing on the famous Rainbow Road!

Y/n: "WOAH! RAINBOW ROAD!!"

S/n: *Shouts* "Bro! This is super gnarly, man!"

Y/n: *Shouts* "I know! I can't believe we're driving on Rainbow Road!"

Peach: *Drove up next to Y/n on the right* "Is there anything like this in your world?"

Y/n: *Shouts* "I'm sorry?"

Peach: *Shouts* "Is there anything like this in your world?"

Y/n: "Not really. We can't drive on rainbows. Seems impossible."

Peach: "What are you gonna tell me next? That the turtles aren't evil?"

Y/n: "No, no. People usually keep them as pets."

S/n: *Drove up next Y/n on the left* "If you want, you can stop by Beverly Hills and my lil' bro will get ya one."

Y/n: "Well, it's her decision not mine."

Peach: *Giggled* "Maybe I will. You know, I always wondered what it's like in your world, Y/n."

Peach: *Giggled* "Maybe I will. You know, I always wondered what it's like in your world, Y/n."

Y/n: "You wanna visit my world to see what it's really like?"

S/n: "C'mon, bro! You cook up the dishes and own a cool place in the Groove! You should let her visit our world!"

Peach: "Hope it's alright with you, N/n." *Chuckles*

Y/n: *Blushes and laughs sheepishly* "...Um... That would be nice."

DK: *Drove up and looks at Y/n* "Dude, is this you flirting? This is painful!"

Y/n: *Stutters and blushes* "Um..."

S/n: "Oi! Cut him some slack. He's just trying to be nice to her."

DK: "Seriously? Ha! Look at him! He is so embarrassing! A princess would never go out with your brother!"

Toad: *Droves up to the group* "Yes, she would! I guarantee she will go out with Y/n!"

Peach: *Laughing* "Guys, Enough."

DK: "Alright, alright. I'll stop."

Toad & Donkey Kong left the three alone as the sky grew dark. The lights on the Rainbow Road gave off a sparkling glow.

S/n: "Never mind DK, lil' bro. He's just pushing your buttons."

Y/n: "I know. I know. I just hope we beat Bowser back to the Mushroom Kingdom in time."

Speaking of the devil, the heroes didn't see that the Koopa Troop were in their karts, watching them from a cliff overlooking the Rainbow Road. Bowser was watching Y/n and Peach through his binoculars and he did not like it.

Bowser: *Growls in envy* "Nobody takes my Peaches away from me!"

Sure enough, without a single warning...

Koopa: "ATTACK!!!"

The Koopas rode their karts off of the cliff and onto Rainbow Road to ambush the Kong army. A Koopa fires a shell from his kart that recoils off of and knocks out several Kong karts.

Peach: "It's an ambush!"

S/n: "Oh crap balls!"

A Koopa holding a lit Bob-omb approaches Y/n...

Y/n: *Shrieks* "Lummy night!"

But Cranky Kong knocked the Koopa off aside.

Cranky: "Defensive positions!!"

Sure enough, The Rainbow Road Rage begins! A Kong fires several bananas from his kart at Koopas approaching them from the cliffs. Another Kong fires banana peels onto Rainbow Road, spinning out several Koopa karts. The Koopa General plows through several karts in a massive bulldozer equipped with jaws at the front and gains on Y/n and co.

Koopa General: "You're dead men, Y/n Brothers!"

Y/n shrieked in fear, but he and S/n saw several paths ahead on Rainbow Road. That's when they got the same idea.

Y/n: "Split up! Sis, follow me!"

S/n: "Got it!"

The group split up with the Koopa General chasing Y/n & S/n.

Peach: *Worried* "Y/n!"

After repeatedly dodging the jaws of the Koopa General's kart, Y/n & S/n saw another path or Rainbow Road below them and ultra drift-boosts onto it, much to the Koopa General's frustration.

Koopa General: *Growls*

S/n: "Ha! Sucker!"

Y/n: "Uh... sis..."

They looked up ahead as their new Rainbow Road path started to go upside down. Y/n panicked but their Circuit Special & Hog Bike shifted automatically into anti-gravity mode.

Y/n: *Amazed* "Woah! Okay!"

S/n was amazed but it was cut short when she saw the Koopa General fire two Bullet Bills straight towards them. As soon as she deactivated her bike's anti-gravity mode...

S/n: "JUMP, BRO!"

Y/n jumps out of his kart in time and onto S/n's bike before the Circuit Special was destroyed. They fell onto another Rainbow Road path below them. Y/n jumps off his sister's bike and grabs onto a Koopa's Bullet Bill Bike and crashes it into another Koopa's kart. He then jumps on the Koopa driving the kart, causing the Koopa to retract into his shell. Y/n jumps into the kart while holding the shell. S/n dodges three Bullet Bills shot at her from another Koopa kart behind her and Y/n counters the Koopa by throwing the shell he was holding behind him. The shell hits the Koopa kart, much to their relief, while the Koopa General approaches them again from behind.

S/n: *Sees the General* "Floor it, bro. That Blue-Shelled Koopa is tailgating us again!"

They sped away as fast as they could. Meanwhile, Toad frantically dodges bullet and shell-fire from behind him. In another Rainbow Road path, Two Koopas surround Peach, who proceeds to kick the Koopa on her right and ram the back of her motorcycle into the Koopa on her left. The Koopa on her left fires a Bullet Bill which breaks off the bottom half of a floating landmass above Toad's Rainbow Road path, which falls and breaks off the path ahead of Toad.

Toad: *Screaming* "I'm too cute to die!"

Thinking quickly, Peach disables anti-gravity mode on her motorcycle, falling off of the Rainbow Road path she was on, catches Toad and activates her glider.

Toad: "That is how you princess!"

Back with the siblings, they were fighting off the Koopa karts in front of them. S/n turned her back and saw the Koopa General approaching them. S/n moved out of the way but Y/n didn't see the general until the bulldozer caught up to him. The Koopa General catches Y/n's kart into his Bulldozer's jaws. Y/n gets out of the kart and holds onto the outside of the jaws in an attempt to avoid getting chomped.

Koopa General: "Time to die, Y/n!"

The homicidal general pushes a lever on his kart, closing the kart's jaws and destroying Y/n's kart.

General Koopa: *Cackling like a murderer*

S/n didn't say a word but she knew her brother survived... And he did. Y/n, alive but clinging to the kart's jaw in fear, moves to the outer edge of the jaw and sees S/n and Donkey Kong chasing the Koopa General. Y/n climbs to the top of the jaw where the Koopa General can see his head.

Y/n: "Don't celebrate too soon, mister!"

Koopa General: "Huh?!"

Y/n jumps on and bounces off the Koopa General's head and onto Donkey Kong's kart.

S/n: "Hasta la vista, sucka!"

DK: "See ya!"

DK did the honors of firing the first rocket barrel from his kart at the Koopa General.

Koopa General: "NOOOO!!!!"

*KABOOM!!*

Sure enough, DK's rocket barrel destroyed the general's bulldozer.

Y/n: "Yes! Way to go, DK!"

S/n: "Yeah!"

Unfortunately... The Koopa General emerges from the flames of his destroyed vehicle.

Koopa General: *Livid* "You...can't...escape ME!"

S/n: "Huh?!"

Y/n: "Oh no..."

Koopa General "BLUE SHELL!!!"

The Koopa general tucks in his body and flies toward Y/n, S/n' Bike and Donkey Kong's kart. He spins around them and as the siblings knew it...

Y/n: "I always hated that Blue Shell..."

S/n: "Me too..."

*KERBAM!!!*

The Koopa General's Kamikaze destroyed the kart, S/n's bike and the Rainbow Road beneath them. Y/n & S/n and Donkey Kong plummet down to the ocean as Peach and Toad manage to escape but are in sorrow.

Peach: "NO!! No, Y/n...!"

To make matters worse, the Kongs stop at the broken section of the Rainbow Road.

Cranky: "No! No..."

Even worse, more Koopas arrive in flying Koopa Clown Cars and carry the Kongs toward Bowser's ship.

Cranky: "Oi! Get your clown claws off of me!"

Speaking of Bowser, he felt very pleased with himself and had no remorse for the general.

Bowser: *Laughs* "Well done, General. Goodbye Y/n."

The princess and Toad were still driving but there was no other hope for them.

Peach: "We have to get home!"

And they sped on back to the Mushroom Kingdom!

Meanwhile, Y/n, S/n and DK falling towards the ocean as the siblings hugged each other fear. DK on the other hand, threw debris at the siblings in anger.

DK: "Hey! This is all your brother's fault!"

S/n: *Defends Y/n* "HIS fault!? You're the one who-"

DK: "Stop talking! I don't want the last thing I hear before I die to be your-"

Y/n: "WATCH OUT!!!"

They all crashed into the ocean and were underwater. DK was knocked unconscious by a tire from the debris, but Y/n refused to see him drown. S/n, groaned in disagreement but had no other choice. She & Y/n swam over to Donkey Kong and managed to bring him up to the surface. Unaware of a large dangerous sea creature, closing its jaws beneath them.

Upon the surface, it was raining but as soon as DK gained consciousness, he grabbed a barrel for support. And the siblings held onto each other.

DK: "Y/n... You and S/n... both saved my life."

Y/n: "If it makes you feel any better, we won't tell anybody."

S/n: *Smirked* "Maybe I will..."

Y/n: "Sis, please..."

S/n: "Okay, okay. Just joking."

Y/n: *Sighed* "I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting all funned out..."

Y/n suddenly hears bubbling below him.

Y/n: "Uh... Did you just...feel something...?"

S/n: *Sees something in the water* "Uh oh..."

Y/n: "Don't tell me. We're about to get eaten by a huge sea creature."

S/n: "Yep."

Y/n: "Is it a huge giant eel?"

DK: "Uhh..."

S/n: "...Most likely."

Y/n: ".........Bring it on."

Without a warning, out of nowhere, an eel, known as a Maw-Ray rises up out of the water behind them.

Y/n & S/n: *Screamed in fear* "AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!"

DK: "SWIM!!!"

Too late, the Maw-Ray closes its jaws around them and sinks back into the water.

Well, Bowser really did it this time. He ambushed the heroes first before they could ambush him. Peach & Toad escaped alive but the Y/n Brothers and Donkey Kong were eaten alive by Maw-Ray as the Kong Army were captured by Bowser's Forces and were now prisoners. Is all hope lost for the Mushroom Kingdom? Will Peach have no other choice but to marry Bowser? Has Bowser finally won and does this mean the end for the Mushroom Kingdom?!
