5:15 PM - The Y/n Brothers Residence/Arcade Mania - The Groove

After a first day on the job turned into a dog-pocalypse, Y/n & S/n hang their hats on the hanger. Y/n sat down in the dining room exhausted and disappointed.

Y/n: *Sighed* "So much for a perfect first day."

S/n: "If it makes you feel any better, lil' bro, nobody's perfect."

Y/n: "I know, but this stupid dog phobia got the best me. I gotta get my act together."

S/n: "Well, personally I blame their dog for being bloodthirsty and spoiled."

Y/n only rolled up his sleeve to see his first dog bite when he was just a toddler.

Y/n: "Why do I still fear the canines that are called man's best friend?" *Sighed* "I need a psychiatrist."

S/n: "Calm down, lil' bro. Maybe the virtual with our family from Brooklyn will cheer you up."

Y/n: "I hope so."

The two siblings got to work; Y/n was setting up the table while S/n did the cooking. The tough but full-figured tomboy is cooking her mother's special spaghetti but personally she prefers her brother's special cooking because it was made with love. Meanwhile, the younger brother already set up the table, condiments and utensils. Next, he put up a projector screen as he connected it to his laptop to set up the virtual dinner meeting. Before leaving Brooklyn, Y/n had enough for his family to buy a monitor for the dining room in case his mother wanted to see him and S/n.

Y/n: *Connecting to the virtual dinner meeting* "Table's all set, sis!"

S/n: *Calling from the kitchen* "Be out there in a second, lil' bro!"

It wasn't long until the meeting started as the laptop and the portable projector showed the meeting on the projector screen as S/n entered the room with the dinner. The entire family of Y/n & S/n are present in their own home from Brooklyn.

"Y/n & S/n's Family!"

L/n Family: "Hey-yo!"

Y/n & S/n: "Hey-yo!"

Uncle Tony: "Oh-ho, it's the Super Y/n Brothers from the TV." *As he, Uncle Arthur and Grandpa laughed*

Uncle Arthur: "They give an Oscar for worst actors?"

Aunt Marie: "Hey!" *smacks him in the head*

Uncle Arthur: "What'd I do?"

S/n: "Well I'd give ourselves an Oscar for effort."

Y/n: *chuckles* "So, uh... So everybody saw the commercial, then?"

Uncle Tony: "Uh-huh. We've seen it." *Winks to Uncle Arthur*

Y/n: "And?"

Uncle Tony: "I wouldn't quit your day job."

Uncle Arthur: "Spoiler alert! He already did."

Uncle Tony, Uncle Arthur and the grandfather laughed again.

Mama L/n: "Well, I thought it was incredible. It belongs in a movie theater."

Y/n: "Thank you, Mother Dearest."

S/n puts spaghetti with mushrooms onto Y/n's plate.

Y/n: "Ugh! Mushrooms again, big sis?"

S/n: "C'mon, lil' bro. Dad said mushrooms can be healthy."

Papa L/n: Plus, Everybody loves mushrooms, right?"

Y/n ate a couple of mushrooms and tried to resist it.

Y/n: "I wish I didn't hate mushrooms."

S/n: "You'll get there eventually, lil' bro."

Uncle Tony: "Y/n, seriously. What were your thinkin' with that commercial?"

Y/n: "What? It's supposed to be funny."

S/n: "Can you pass the bread to me, lil' bro?"

Y/n: "Here ya go." *Passes the bread to S/n*

Uncle Tony: "Yeah, but... What's with the outfits? Plumbers wearin' white gloves?"

Y/n: "You gotta have a trademark. Gotta stand out."

Mama L/n: "Don't listen to them. The world laughed at Da Vinci, too."

Y/n: "Mm, I'm not sure they did, Ma."

S/n: "Well, people mocked the Sonic 2006 and Lost World games for being mediocre. Surely, the fans are more mediocre than the games themselves."

Y/n: "And anime fans are pushing the people who made Bleach and Fairy Tail too far for the criticisms they made."

S/n: "I personally blame the fans who're being bratty. I still love the anime franchises I still know today."

Y/n: *Thinks for a moment* "Dad, I want your honest opinion; do you think running a plumbing service and an establishment that is half restaurant and half arcade is too much for me?"

Papa L/n: "I think you're nuts. You don't leave a steady job for some crazy dreams. And the worst part? You're bringing your sister down with you."

Y/n: *Grimly* "Thanks, dad." *leaves the table* "Really appreciate your 'support'."

Sure enough, Y/n left for his room in grief while the rest of the family looked at Papa L/n in disapproval. S/n only scolds him.

S/n: "Smooth response, pops."

Papa L/n: "What'd I say?"

Mama L/n: "Never mind him, S/n. Your brother needs you."

S/n: *Turns to her mother* "Don't worry, Ma. I'll go comfort lil' bro."

Mama L/n: "I know you will. Aunt Marie and I still support you two. You both will do fine."

S/n: "Thanks, Ma. Love ya!" *Leaves the virtual meeting*

As S/n disconnected her brother's laptop from the projector, she felt worried about Y/n.

S/n: *Sighed* "I guess I spoke too soon."

6:30 PM - Underground - Los Angeles

The Spies, including Britney, were in their spy uniforms and made their way underground in the sewers to find the source of the otherworldly energy. Clover was talking the loudest of all.

Clover: "Okay, out of all missions, why this one? It smells very reeky down here! EW!!!"

Sam: "Because, Clover, Jerry sent us because of the source of the energy."

Clover: "Well, it's very bad timing for me. The moment I saw Y/n, he would be my perfect soulmate."

While Clover and Sam were arguing, Alex and Britney were discussing on the other hand.

Alex: "You saw the Super Y/n Brothers commercial, Britney?"

Britney: "I did actually. Earlier, I was in the middle of class but I viewed the ad myself. Y/n and S/n did a good job."

Alex: "Yeah, but I don't think Beverly Hills won't have any issues with plumbing because it rarely has any."

Britney: "Wait!" *Checks her Compowder as it senses the energy* "I think I've picked up the otherworldly source."

Sam: "Which is where?"

Britney: "Down that tunnel." *She pointed to the abandoned passage*

The girls headed down the utility passage but the only problem is that it was left to rot in stink and neglected.

Sam: *Smells the stench* "Yuck! I hope we can find this source and get out of here!"

Clover: *Hold her nose* "For once, I agree with you, Sammy!"

Little did they know that the pipes in the tunnel were old, weak and rusty. The water that holds them began to increase the pipes' weakness. Suddenly, the pipes started to shake.

Alex: "Uh, guys? Why are these pipes shaking?"

Before anyone could answer, the pipes began to burst water and pushed the spies towards deeper into the tunnel.

The Spies: "AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!"

Sam: "That's what we need! A big pipe burst!"

Clover: "I know we're spies but where are the Super Y/n Brothers when you need them!?"

Meanwhile...

Y/n was in his room, playing Super Mario Bros. on the NES - Nintendo Switch Online. He would of course choose the original NES but he's picky of his own decisions. He was still sulking about his father's response. Y/n knows his mother and Auntie Marie were the only ones supporting the siblings. After losing his last life on World 8-4, he turns on the news.

S/n: *Enters in* "Hey, lil' bro. Sorry to barge in."

Y/n: "That's alright. I still enjoy your company." *Scoots over for his sister to sit.* "Do you think I'm a major disappointment to you?"

S/n: "Nah, you're not bringing me down. You know what? What do they know, huh?"

Y/n: "It's not just them. Our whole lives, everyone's telling us, 'We can't do this', 'We can't do that'. I'm just sick and tired of feelin' belittled..."

S/n: "Don't worry about it, lil' bro. You made your own friends at Malibu. Believe it or not, we're gonna show everyone that you can do anything you want."

Y/n: "Thanks, sis. I know you're tryin' to cheer me up."

Suddenly, Y/n turned his attention to the news.

News Reporter: "A water main burst underground today, slowing and stopping traffic and Metro services and flooding Downtown Los Angeles."

That caught the siblings' attention as Y/n turned up the volume as the news report showed the water main spilling water onto the street. The mayor speaks with the reporters.

Mayor: "Everything is under control, I promise you. We are very close to fixing this."

Though the mayor is instantly proven wrong when a manhole bursts like a geyser behind him, causing him to smile sheepishly. A citizen runs in, shakes the mayor and grabs a reporter's microphone as a manhole cover shoots high into the air.

Citizen: "Somebody help! Somebody save Los Angeles and Beverly Hills!"

Y/n & S/n saw their chance to prove their family wrong.

Y/n: "Saving Beverly Hills and Los Angeles?"

S/n: "Aw yeah, bro! Destiny's calling us! C'mon!"

Later...

In Downtown, Los Angeles, construction workers investigate the flooding as the Y/n Bros. arrives. One worker attempts to hold a manhole cover over the leak, but is sent shooting upward by the spray. Y/n smirked in confidence.

Y/n: *chuckles* "They're not even looking in the right place. C'mon, big sis."

Y/n finds another manhole cover and lifts it up with a crowbar. The water drains into the open manhole.

S/n: "Lil' bro, you're not seriously considering-"

Y/n held his breath and jumped into the draining water.

S/n: "Of course, he would."

S/n tried to follow after Y/n but her chest was too big to fit through. Her brother took notice and helped pull her down to the sewers.

S/n: "Thanks, lil' bro."

Y/n: "No prob. C'mon! We gotta get to that pressure valve!"

The Y/n Brothers use the pipe above them to climb across.

S/n: "C'mon, lil' bro! Hurry!"

As they climb across the pipe, Y/n tries to turn the valve, but it suddenly snaps off.

Y/n: "Oh noes..."

That wasn't the worst of it, the pipe snaps off too and the siblings hang on to it until they crash into a brick wall.

Y/n: "I knew saving Beverly Hills and Los Angeles was a bad idea."

S/n: "At least we're alright."

Sam: "Y/n? S/n?"

Y/n & S/n turned to see Clover, Sam, Alex & Britney.

Y/n: "Girls?! What are you four doing here? And... what's with the outfits?"

Alex: *Panicked* "Oh! Um! We're just cosplayers!"

Sam: *Played along* "Yep, just waiting for the next convention to arrive."

S/n: "Are you sure, because the convention just passed like a week ago."

Y/n: "Yeah. I don't think those are costumes."

Clover: *Whispers* "So much for that."

Alex: *Sighs in defeat* "Okay. Y/n, S/n? The truth is we're really spies."

Sam: "It's not really a walk in the park but our boss, Jerry, assigned us to find a source of otherworldly energy."

Clover: "That is until the yucky sewer water bursted unexpectedly!"

S/n: "You'd be surprised..."

Britney: "Look, we should get you two out of..." *Interrupted when Y/n moved on into the utility tunnel* "Y/n! Wait!"

S/n: "Come on!" *Takes out her flashlight* "Yo! Bro! Wait!"

Meanwhile, Y/n explored the utility tunnel. It was quiet, dark and dusty. He climbed down the stairs to see what else is needed for more exploring.

Y/n: "...Wow. Nobody's been down here for years."

Sam: "Y/n!"

Y/n saw that the girls finally caught up with him.

Alex: "Wait, Y/n. You must leave this to me, Sammy, Clover and Britney."

Britney: "She's right, it could be dangerous down here."

Y/n: "Have you guys ever been through plumbing school? Of course not!" *Continues arguing*

Meanwhile, Clover and Sam came across a mysterious green pipe and took a good look at it.

Clover: "There's a pipe you don't see at that size."

Sam: "I'm gonna analyze for Jerry."

As soon as she does, S/n to check on brother but notices that Sam and Clover mysteriously vanished!

S/n: *Noticed that Clover & Sam are gone* "Uh, guys? Where's Clove n' Sam?"

The group took notice and were baffled.

Britney: "S/n, could you please look after your brother? He's making it more difficult for us."

Alex: *Sees Y/n with an annoyed glare at them* "Um... I'm sure she didn't mean it like that, Y/n."

S/n: "Don't worry, I'll watch him."

Alex and Britney walked over to the mysterious pipe where Sam and Clover vanished. As they looked at it, S/n was watching Y/n.

S/n: "C'mon, lil' bro. They may be spies but I'm sure their boss would understand."

Y/n: *Sighed* "Should've stayed with the restaurant and gaming business." *Calls out* "Yo, girls! Any sign of Clove or Sammy?"

No one replied. Y/n and S/n looked at the pipe and noticed that Britney and Alex vanished too. The siblings looked at each other and walked cautiously over to the pipe.

Y/n: "Girls, you in there?"

Y/n picked up Britney's compowder she dropped.

Y/n: *Grew worried* "Girls!"

S/n: "Uh, lil' bro? Do you feel something?"

The siblings noticed that the mysterious pipe began to pull them in. First was Y/n, then S/n second. They were warped into a new dimension!

Y/n & Sn: "YAAAAAHHH!!!!/WOOOAAHH!!!"

Y/n closed his eyes as S/n clenched him to be protected but during their warp, they were in a zone, a Warp Zone! The siblings looked around and bewildered, being carried along a series of clear passageways moving through brightly colored clouds.

Y/n: "Woah..." *Sees the spies* "Girls!"

Alex, Clover, Sam & Britney: "Y/N!!"

Y/n: "C'mon, sis!"

Y/n & S/n floated their way towards the spies as S/n grabbed Britney & Sam's hands and Y/n grabbed Alex & Clover's hands.

Y/n: "Nobody panic! It's all gonna be okay!"

Clover: "How is this gonna be okay? We're being pulled into a different place!"

Alex: "I'm used to being WOOHPed but this is way more different!"

Sam: "Where are we going exactly!?"

Y/n: "I don't know!"

S/n: "Don't worry! As long as we're together, nothing can hurt us!"

Unfortunately, S/n was wrong. Britney & Sam were pulled away from the group to the lava-covered portal. So were Alex & Clover as S/n tried to hold onto them but failed!

Alex, Clover, Sam & Britney: "Y/N!!!!"

Y/n: *Cries out* "GIRLS!!! Stay alive! No matter how long it takes, I will find you!"

S/n: "Brace yourself!!"

The Y/n Brothers were ejected from the pipe, landed on a giant mushroom and tumbled to the grass-covered ground. S/n's chest cushioned her fall, thankfully. Y/n groaned in pain as S/n got him up.

S/n: "You alright, lil' bro?"

Y/n: *Groans* "Shaken but not stirred." *Looks around in amazement and awes*

S/n: *Looks around too and softly gasps too* "Woah..."

The siblings stared in awe at the Mushroom Forest. Y/n then approaches a blue mushroom, only for a mushroom man to suddenly pop up, causing Y/n to scream and stumble back as S/n gets into defense mode.

????: "Do not touch that mushroom, You'll die!!"

Y/n: "YAAAAAHH!!!" *Hugs his sister in fear*

????: "Oh, I'm sorry." *chuckles* "That one's perfectly fine."

"Toad!"

Y/n: "Th-that's a little mushroom m-man. A little mushroom man talking to me."

S/n: *Thought to herself* "Wait. That's Toad from the Super Mario Bros. games."

Toad: "Pleased to meet ya. I'm Toad." *Walks off*

Y/n: "Uhh... Y/n. And this is S/n." *Gets up and follows Toad.* "So this is, uh... This is, this is not a dream?"

Toad whacks Y/n's arm with his walking stick, causing him to exclaim in pain.

Y/n: "Ouch!"

Toad: "That hurt, right?"

Y/n: "YES!!!"

Toad: "Definitely not a dream."

Y/n: "Where are we?"

Toad: "The Mushroom Kingdom!"

Y/n & S/n: *Thought together* "The Mushroom Kingdom!?"

Y/n: *Mutters to himself* "Wait, I heard that the Super Mario Bros got here to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser. Could that mean...?" *Suddenly, he hears something. He turns around and spots a Bramball stooping over his head.* "Uh... Hi?" *In a awkward tone*

S/n: "Hey, Toad, we're trying to look for our new friends. We've been pulled into the same pipe back there and got separated. They're girls like me but they wear red, yellow, blue, green suits."

Y/n: "Yeah and they were falling through a pipe. It was foggy and-and I believe there was lava..."

Toad: *Stops & gasped* "Uh, that... is not good. Umm... Not to alarm you two, but your friends have landed in the Dark Lands. They're under..." *Looks around and whispers* "Bowser's control."

S/n: *Dismayed* "No..."

Y/n: *Shocked* "B-Bowser? You mean-?"

Toad: "Oh yeah. the most evil, wretched creature alive."

Y/n: *Gulped and grew anxious* "Not good."

S/n: "What are we gonna do, Toad? Ain't no way we're gonna let our friends suffer!"

Toad: "Don't worry!" *Toad sticks his walking stick into a mushroom and pulls himself and the siblings up* "I'm taking you two to see the princess. She can help you. She can do anything."

Y/n & S/n: "Princess?"

In the distance, Y/n & S/n see a magnificent white and red castle surrounded by a large town.

S/n: "Wow!"

Toad: "Come on, guys! Our big adventure begins now!"

Y/n knew there was no turning back, and knew the spies were dangerous but he's not doing it alone.

Y/n: "Ready sis?"

S/n: "Ready."

Y/n: "Clove, Sam, Alex, Britney. We're on our way!"

The Y/n Bros and Toad jump across mushrooms toward the princess's castle.

In a very dark forest, the moon shone brightly as Alex, Sam, Clover and Britney pulled themselves up from the Warp Pipe.

Alex: *Groaned in pain* "If Jerry's WOOHP tunnel's weren't bad enough."

Clover: *Groaned in pain* "Agreed."

Britney: "I hardly experienced those."

Sam: *Pulls herself up and looks around* "Uh... girls... Something tells me we're not in Beverly Hills anymore."

Sam turned on the spare flashlight from S/n before they were separated. The spies wander with great caution as they explore the Dark Lands. It didn't look very welcoming. The girls felt discouraged by the environment.

Clover: *Whispers* "Y/n? Y/n? Where are you?" *Being stopped by a branch*

Clover pulls herself out from the branch then stumbles near a lava stream but was saved by Alex.

Clover: "Whew. Thanks, Alex."

Alex: "Don't mention it."

Sam: "Watch your step next time, Clover." *Walks across safely with the rocks*

Clover: "Well, it's not my fault a branch grabbed me." *Follows behind*

Britney: "Never mind. Let's just focus on where we are now."

Sam: "Judging by the gloomy night sky, the scary trees and the streams of hot lava. I'd say we're lost and somewhere."

Clover: "Well duh!"

Alex: "I'm gonna contact Jerry."

And she did, only for her compowder to have no signal.

Alex: "Signal lost, out of reach?"

Britney: *Remembers her own compowder* "Oh no! I lost mine when we got pulled in here by the pipe!"

Sam: "Guess we're stuck here now."

Clover: "Great." *Leans against the tree* "Can this get any worse?"

And she spoke too soon. The tree Clover was leaning was a home of a colony of bats as they flew by the girls.

The Spies: *Shrieked* "Bats!!"

The bats flew off into the night sky. The girls raised their heads as they sighed and walked on.

Alex: "We're gonna have to watch you in case there's any danger."

Clover: *Scoffs* "How was I supposed to know there were bats in that tree?"

Suddenly, Sam heard a rustling in the branches.

Sam: *Whispers* "Girls, I hear something in the bushes."

The girls have their backs against each other as they get into their defense positions. Sam took her flashlight out and looked around but didn't see a creature with glowing yellow pupils.

Sam: "Huh?"

Clover: "What was that?"

As soon as the flashlight pointed towards the creature...

Dry Bones: *Pupils turned red and hisses in hostility*

The girls screamed in fear as they ran away from the Dry Bones as it was chasing them. It was gaining on them dreadfully. Of course, Sam stopped and karate kicked the Dry Bones, dismantling him. The others stopped and ran back towards her.

Clover: *Breathing heavily and scared* "...What... is that?"

Sam: "I... don't know... to be honest."

Alex: "Oh, Sammy." *Picks up the Dry Bones's head* "You know how we remember we're spies."

Britney: "Alex! Put that-!"

It was too late as the head glowed fiery red again as Alex dropped it down and shrieked. The spies witnessed the Dry Bones reassembled itself as more arrived from the ground to get the girls.

Clover: *Getting scared* "The only thing worse than turtle-like skeleton zombies are ghosts!"

Alex: "You mean those ghosts?" *Pointed to her direction*

Sure enough, a flock of ghosts have swarm over the spies to scare them for fun!

Britney: "I have an idea."

Sam: "Which is..."

Britney: "RUN!!!"

The girls shrieked and ran in fear as the hoard of Dry Bones and Ghosts were chasing them. They had never been this scared before!

Clover: "I'm too pretty and young to be a zombie and ghost!"

Britney: "Keep running! We need to find a shelter!"

During the chase, Sam saw a fortress surrounded by a lava moat up ahead.

Sam: "That way! It's our best bet!"

Alex: "Hope nobody's home!"

The girls hopped from platform to platform avoiding the ghosts and Dry Bones but Clover tripped, fell on a rock thankfully, but met with a Dry Bones head and a Boo.

Boo: "Enjoying your visit in the Dark Lands, my dear? It sure is Boo-tiful around here! Eee! Hee! Hee!"

Clover: *Screamed and punched the Dry Bones head away*

The others got Clover and made it to the fortress when the Dry Bones mob grabbed Clover as she fought back as many as she could. They went inside as they fought off the mob and locked the gate with its bar lock. The door banged several times as the girls held onto each other. They thought for sure the ghosts would go through but they didn't barge in. The spies looked around the creepy castle as thunder crashed.

Clover: *Calmed down* "Okay... Let's just sit here until we find help."

Sam: "I can't even think of anything else worse."

Alex: "I wouldn't jinx it, guys. Things will go from bad to worse to even worse."

Clover: "Like what? Another bunch of creepy weirdos that will, like, ambush us?"

As the lightning flashed, she predicted it.

A/n: "Just replace Luigi with the spies."

The Spies: *Screamed in fear in the dark* "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!"
