Katri yelped when the jeep was flipped upside down. Katri groans while the boys cough a little bit. It was a rough impact, but she knew they were okay.

"Kat, are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Katri spoke quietly shaking her head. She coughed a little bit. "I'm alright."

She then looked down at her hands seeing some red on them, sighing a little bit as she heard smashing of glass behind her as she looked back seeing Thomas climbing out. "Kat, give me your hand."

She nods and holds out her uninjured hand he gently pulls her out, she grunts a little bit as she slid out. Once she got to her feet, he looked over seeing some blood on her cheek and hands. Katri shakes her head gently touching his cheek gently, quietly assuring him that she's okay. Katri looks back seeing Newt and Frypan struggling.

"The doors jammed." She heard Newt speak

"Shit, alright." Thomas began thinking quickly. "Fry, go around."

Katri saw Newt kick the door open and got out. Thomas helped him to his feet while she bent down and attempted to help Frypan out. Katri grabbed him, helping her good friend to his feet. Letting out a small breath, she looks at everyone and then suddenly, a loud scream was heard coming from the tunnel. Katri's eyes widened. The Cranks have found them.

"They're coming..." Katri muttered.

Frypan looked back at the jeep trying to find something. Katri looked back at Thomas who was staring back at her. Then they yelled for Frypan to hurry up. Katri pinched her lips reaching around and grabbing her pistols and aimed at the Cranks running to them and just as she does so, Frypan came out with a shotgun in his hands, then shot the Crank before it could get any of them. Another one behind the first Crank as Katri shot the next one making her release a breath.

"Nice shot..." Thomas was impressed

"Thanks," Frypan chuckled a little bit.

Then, they heard more screaming coming their way. "Okay, thanks for being impressed with shit that just happened," Katri started as she puts one of her pistols away. "But we really need to get away from here."

They all started to back up getting ready to run while Katri and Frypan started shooting at the Cranks while they started running. After a couple of shots, they both gave up seeing how many more Cranks were coming and they started running for their lives. Thomas reached back and snagged Katri's hand to pull her to him while they ran. Katri then pulled Thomas to a stop when she realized there were Cranks in front of them now.

Eyes widen while she grabbed her other pistol while Thomas and Newt grabbed their guns, they all began shooting the Cranks around them. Swallowing thickly now realizing that they were running out of bullets soon, Katri had to think of something. But then Thomas pushed back against her cause they all ran out of ammo, and they were trapped.

They knew they were goners, they had nothing else with them. Katri could throw her knives, but what if she needed them. When all of a sudden, a jeep came through ramming into some Cranks before revealing that it was Jorge and Brenda. Katri grins a little bit while Brenda began shooting the Cranks while they piled in the jeep. Jorge started driving away while Katri looked behind them seeing the Cranks running after them, but they were getting smaller, and smaller the farther they drove.

Katri turned back around the front and let out a sigh of relief while Thomas touched her hand while she looked at him and she leans her forehead against his shoulder gently while closing her eyes. Thomas squeezed her hand gently while looking back up while Jorge continues driving off and out of the tunnel.

They all made it out of the tunnel filled with Cranks safely thanks to Brenda and Jorge. Katri kept her head on Thomas's shoulder gently while Jorge continues driving while looking back at them in the review mirror with a smirk on his face. Katri looks back seeing nothing but mountains behind them thinking she was going to see Cranks, but they were miles away from the tunnel at this point.

"I'm impressed," said Jorge. "You guys almost lasted the whole day."

Newt and Frypan both looked at Thomas while Katri looked at the sky seeing the sun a little higher in the sky. She was surprised. Brenda turned around a little smirk on her face while looking at Thomas with raised eyebrows.

"I'm sorry, I didn't want to bring you into this."

Brenda glanced at Jorge, her brows still raised and a smirk still laying on her lips.

"I think what he's trying to say is thanks for saving us." said Frypan, patting Thomas on the shoulder with a small grateful smile on his face

Brenda looks at them really quick, then turns back to the front. "You're welcome," she replies with a little sass in her voice.

Katri looks over to the side and her eyes widen a little bit seeing the Last City in the distance. Newt stared at her, and then turns to follow her gaze and then narrowed his eyes looking at what she was seeing.

"Yeah," Newt starts. "Unless they figured out some other way to keep the Cranks out."

Jorge looked over, as did everyone else and Jorge slammed on the brakes making Frypan and Katri held onto the jeep to keep from flying out of the jeep while they look over seeing the Last City. Everyone jumped out of the car and walked up to the edge of the cliff looking at the City in front of them. There were tall buildings, skyscrapers, some smaller buildings and they had walls surrounding the City.

"Funny..." Newt broke the silence. "We spend three years trapped behind Walls trying to break out. And now, we're gonna break back in."

"Yeah, it's hilarious." Frypan sarcastically spoke making Katri chuckle.

Katri bites her lip gently, still feeling the swell from her time at W.I.C.K.E.D. Taking a deep breath, she turns to Jorge. "How do we get in?"

"Don't look at me, hermana," Jorge spoke to her with a small shrug. "Those walls are new. I guess it's W.I.C.K.E.D's answer for everything."

Everyone started walking back to the jeep, Katri glances back seeing Thomas take one last glance at the City before walking back. Katri pauses in her steps and looks at the City, wondering if he is there.

"Do you really think he's there?" Katri asks Thomas as he begins walking by her. "Minho, I mean..."

"I guess we'll find out." Thomas replies touching her hand gently while she looks at him.

"Thomas..." He looks back at her. "You know, she's gonna be in there too."

Thomas slowly nodded and looks down; she could see the hurt in his eyes making her frown and bring her hand to his face gently making him look at her. Katri gives him a small smile caressing her thumb against his cheek.

"Don't worry, Thomas," Katri whispers to him. "We got this..."

Thomas slowly nods as he grabs her hand, and they began walking back to the jeep and got in and Jorge started driving again. Thomas begins remembering all the times he's had with Teresa. Katri could see the hurt on his face as she knew he was hurting. Thomas was the first person she trusted, and he trusted her too but – in the end, it ended up being a mistake.

But she could tell, he still cared for her.
