Katri noticed Teresa acting a little weirder lately and now she's quieter. Katri wondered what was going on with her. Katri knew Thomas would ask her later about it. Squeezing his hand gently as they finally made it to their base. Tents were pitched up and many people surrounded the place. They got out of the jeep, Katri followed Thomas as he intertwines his fingers with hers making her face go a little red as Harriet and Sonya led them in more.

"They've been planning this for over a year now." Harriet spoke up. "This is for us."

"You guys are lucky you found us when you did," Sonya added. "We're moving out at first light." Sonya turns to a man. "Where's Vince?"

"Somewhere out there, I think."

"Who's Vince?" asks Thomas looking at Harriet and Sonya.

"He's the one who decides if you get to stay," Harriet glances at him.

"I thought the Right Arm was supposed to be an army." Minho spoke up.

"Yeah, we were." A male voice called out as they turn their heads seeing a man walking towards them. Was this Vince? "This is all that's left of us. Lot of good people died getting us this far. Who are they?"

"They're immunes." Harriet answered to him. "Caught 'em coming up the mountain."

"Did you check 'em?"

"I know this guy, Aris. I trust him."

"Well, I don't. Check 'em."

Thomas, in the corner of his eye, saw Brenda shaking slightly. His eyes slightly widen and Katri saw this and looks at him. Thomas grew worried. Before Katri could ask Thomas what was going on, Brenda gasped and collapses on the ground. Jorge was quick to be by her side.

"Brenda! Brenda!"

Katri examined her features and gasped when she saw Brenda's lips turning purple, her skin was turning pale, and her breathing was jagged. Katri turns to Thomas and whispers to him.

"She was..."

"Yeah..."

Jorge was cradling Brenda in his arms. "Brenda, talk to me."

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry!" Brenda croaked out.

Vince kneeled down beside Jorge, touching his shoulder. "What's going on with her?"

"I don't know," Jorge glanced at him and then back to Brenda. "Brenda, are you alright?"

They watched as Vince went to her leg lifting the bandage a little revealing a Crank bite. He then was quick to grab his gun, backing up and aiming at her.

"Crank!" Vince shouts loudly. "We got a Crank!"

"No! No!" Jorge screamed out, holding Brenda close and tight.

"Wait, wait!" Thomas lets go of Katri's hand, stepping in front of Vince slightly.

"Step back!"

"Listen, okay? This just happened, okay? She's not dangerous yet." exclaimed Thomas putting his hands out.

"Well, you shouldn't have brought her here."

"I know."

"We let Cranks in here now, the Safe Haven doesn't last a week." Vince continues.

"I understand, okay?" Thomas assures him. "I understand. Just listen, please. I told her you could help, okay? There's gotta be something you can do."

"Yeah, there is." Vince aims his gun at her once again. "I can put her out of her misery."

"No! No!"

"Vince! That's enough!" A female voice spoke up as Katri looks over seeing a woman walking over. "Let him go." The woman stares at Thomas slightly. "Let him go!"

"She's infected, Doc. There's nothing we can do for her."

Thomas glanced at the woman, seeing her staring at him. "No, but he can." Thomas furrowed his brows as Katri slowly went up to him and stood behind him, wondering what the hell she was talking about. "Hello Thomas."

"What?"

"You know me?" "You know him?"

"Interesting." She nodded. "It makes sense they'd put you in the Maze. Though, I must admit... I was worried they'd kill you after what you did." She kneeled beside Brenda.

"What I did?" Thomas asks.

"The first time we spoke, you said you couldn't take it anymore watching your friends die, one by one. I'm surprised the love of your life has survived this long... the last time we spoke... you gave me coordinates of every W.I.C.K.E.D compound, trial and lab."

Katri stares at Thomas in shock, as did everyone else. But Thomas ignored the stares as he continues staring at the woman in front of him.

"He was our source," Vince spoke up, his eyes burning in the back of Thomas's head.

"We couldn't have pulled it off without him." The woman glanced at Brenda. "Take her to the tent and get these guys some warm clothes." Two gentlemen were picking her up. "Careful." Thomas was glancing around, and then looked back at Katri who stared at him with a curt frown. Katri shook her head and walked off following behind everyone. "Thomas, come on."

Thomas glanced at the woman before looking at Vince, he gave Thomas the nod to go ahead. "I need to get some blood from you." She put her hand on his back. Thomas looks up to Katri's retreating form following Newt and Minho. Her shoulders hanging low, and her head was down looking at the ground. He frowns and follows the woman into the tent so she could take the blood from him to somehow cure Brenda.

Later that night, Katri was sitting on the rock between Minho and Newt as they looked at the people moving around in front of them. Her hair was brushed and now in a neat Dutch braid thanks to Sonya.

"You know...." Katri started quietly as Minho and Newt looked at her. "I wish Alby was here to see this..." Katri frowns a little bit and looks down at her hands quickly as Thomas came and sat by Newt. "Same with James..."

"I do, too." Newt agrees quietly with a smile and nod.

"And Winston," Frypan added.

"And Chuck," Thomas finished, looking at the wooden figure in his hands.

Newt looked at Thomas with a small smile on his face. "He'd be proud of you, you know, Tommy."

"Yeah," Thomas mutters still looking at the figure in front of him.

"Hey guys!" Aris calls out waving to them.

Frypan smiles. "Hey Aris!" Frypan turned to everyone. "I kinda like that kid."

"Yeah," Minho frowns. "I still don't trust him though," Minho sounded sarcastic, and it made Katri chuckle a little bit.

Thomas glanced at them with a smile as they all chuckled at Minho's remark. Thomas then looked around, seeing the one person he to talk to still.

"Hey, where's Teresa?"

"She went up there," Newt informed him as he pointed to where said girl was. Thomas nods slowly standing up.

Katri frowns standing up and rushes to Thomas as they were a little bit away from the group. "Thomas..."

Thomas stops and looks at Katri who stands there as she stared at him. "Kat..."

"Listen, you don't need to say anything, but this has been bugging me for a little while now and I wanna know something."

"Anything..."

"What did you mean back in the Maze when you said you "remembered us"?" asks Katri raising a brow. "Then, the lady confirmed it saying she was surprised to see that I was still alive. What does that mean?"

Thomas quickly frowns and walks to her, touching her cheek as she looks up at him. "Kat, before you were sent to the Maze. You and I were in a romantic relationship. But – we had to hide it because we couldn't let anyone know about it. Unfortunately, you were supposed to be a test for the Maze before we sent up more people. You were supposed to be known as the Sacrifice. Send you to the Grievers. But – I couldn't let that happen. I did what I could to stop it. Kat, to this day, I love you so much. And I hope you still love me back."

"..." Katri didn't have the words to speak. Her eyes were shifting around as if thinking, but the next thing she knew, her eyes were closed and she pushed her lips to Thomas's, surprising him completely. Like a puzzle piece that was just the right fit. Sparks flew in her veins, her heart pounded against her chest and her palms were sweated as she kept them at her side but then – brought them up to his chest gripping his coat while he brought his hands to wrap around her neck.

They released the kiss and Katri and Thomas look at one another. "You shucking goof ball making my emotions fly all around..."

Thomas gently smiles and pecks her forehead and goes to look for Teresa as she stands with a dumb smile on her face. Katri slowly begins walking back to the guys but before she could go very far. Katri heard a familiar whirl of a helicopter coming towards them. Katri snaps her head back and begins rushing to where Thomas headed off too. A missile was launched from one the helicopters blowing up camp making Katri fly forward and land on the ground hard and knocking her out.

"Kat..." A groan escaped her lips as she looks up seeing Newt looking down at her. "Kat, are you okay?" Another groan escapes her lips as her eyes close tightly feeling a migraine hitting her head heavily.

"Take it easy, you're bleeding from your head."

"Thomas..." She groans out trying to sit up. "We have to go to him..." Newt and Minho help her up gently as she looks at them. "We have to go save him." Newt and Minho dragged her only to see Vince, Harriet and Sonya struggling to get things done. "Where is Thomas?"

"Harriet! Vince!"

"Come on! Over here!"

"How can we help?" Newt asks as they run into the truck while Vince was shooting at the soldiers.

"You need to cover us!" Vince commanded them. "Ammo!" Vince turns to Minho and Katri. "Hey! Do you both know how to use these things?"

Minho nods grabbing the gun as Katri gently grabs it and slowly nods.

"I'd prefer knives, but this'll work." Katri smirks, aiming her little pistol towards the soldiers, shooting them in the legs knocking them down. She continues shooting at them but keeps missing. "Vince, you've got to hurry up!" shouts Katri shooting once again.

"I'm out!" shouts Frypan about his pistol as Katri ran out too, growling.

Katri then looks up seeing something coming towards them. "Look out!"

"Shit!" shouts Vince as an EMP shot out and they shock everyone and they fall to the ground, knocking them out.
