"Wow, that was an electric episode last time! Welcome back to Episode 2 of the first season of Total NHL, and I'm still on the red carpet waiting for the newest stars on and off the ice to arrive with their significant others. I wonder what this next episode is going to hold?" Kay Lynn starts as the camera focuses in on the red carpet as the various stars come out to shine.

The screen fades to black and a quick snippet of the theme song is played.

Tampa, Florida

"BP is.....100/60, pulse is at 67 BPM and is falling fast! Victim is twenty-three years of age in excellent shape, male. Lots of blood coming out of various wounds, victim is unconscious at time of arrival."

The EMT spouts out as Vladdy is wheeled into the ambulance. The camera pans to his girlfriend of fifteen months, Stephi, who follows quickly behind. She fidgets with her jersey that has Vladdy's last name on it as she hops into the ambulance, not wanting to leave him behind."

The white background appears again to show Stephi, almost in an identical outfit as she cries out quietly, "I don't want him to die. Vladdy, he's my world. He's my....everything."

The ambulance races towards the hospital, and we can only hope and pray that they get there in the nick of time.

Chicago, Illinois

The camera pans in on one of the tallest towers in all of Chicago. We then see an unsuspecting Jonathan Toews walking into his apartment that he shares with his best friend/teammate/boyfriend, Patrick Kane. Jonathan had to run out and get some supplies for the two week homestand that starts off with their division rivals, the Saint Louis Blues. Jonathan can barely juggle the keys to get into the apartment without dropping the groceries.

Once he gets inside the room, Jonathan gently puts the bags down on the counter. He then quietly walks over to the couch, and gently shakes his partner in crime up.

BANG! Captain Serious is shot....with a NERF Gun.

The white room comes up again, and all of the sudden, we see a smiling blonde with blue-gray eyes, "Hi, I'm Patrick Kane. Jonny should of never woken me up like that, but what can you do? I thought he was an intruder, so I had to stop him."

The apartment appears again and Patrick is laughing hysterically, "I get you everytime you come back!! Haha, I'm the best!"

Jonny just shrugs and rolls his eyes, "Yeah, yeah, but what if I don't get food for us, then what will you do?"

Patrick starts to laugh, "You would starve as well, Captain!"

"Oh, just help me with the groceries, will ya? I got frozens!"

"Anything for you, Jonny," Patrick then pecks Jonathan on the cheek.

The happy couple makes their way into the kitchen to put away the groceries. Both of them smiled and laughed the whole time, making the dreary Chicago day just a little bit brighter.

Dallas, Texas

"Why??" Tyler Seguin states in shock, as if he didn't believe what came out of his teammate's mouth.

Valeri Nichushkin looks down at the ground because he was fearful of what Tyler and Jamie Benn would say about this.

Val then replies, "My Mom, my sister...."

Jamie goes around the table to give the younger player a pat on the shoulder and reassure him that his places is in Dallas, Texas with the Stars organization.

Val shoos Jamie's hand away from his shoulder, and starts to nod furiously at him, "No touch! I no do this! Ruff did me wrong!"

Jamie says, "Coach hurt you? Ruff's nice though."

In the white room, Val comes out and says, "Coach Ruff no like Russians. Coach no gets us. I wanna go home to my family!"

Tyler follows Val out to the couch area, and Val starts to tear up. Two black dogs follow Tyler and cuddle near his feet.

"When Ruff meet me today, he said 'You no improve, you stupid idiot! You are worthless, obsolete, Russian scum!' I no know what to do."

"Lindy....did that to you?"

"Yes."

"Jamie, why would Ruff do such a thing?"

Jamie then joins his two teammates on the couch and hugs Val, "I....I didn't know that Val. I'm so sorry."

Val just sighs, "Sergei, he warn me, I no listen."

"Gons warned you?" Tyler asks.

Val nods, "Yeah, Ruff no like Russians and he hurt me. I no play like used to. I tried though."

Tyler and Jamie wrap the young Russian up in a group hug, which only aggravates his shoulder more, and they get off the couch and help Val to the restroom for further examination.

Nashville, Tennessee

Pekka Rinne starts his car on the way to the Hillside apartment complex for unlucky date thirteen. Once he arrives, parks, and waits in front of the building, a beautiful girl with light brown hair, purple rimless glasses, and blue eyes came strolling out with a dark purple dress on.

Pekka, being a true gentleman, holds the door open for date number thirteen. He then dashes to the car to once again open and close the door for her. Once he starts the car, he can see the girl smiling in the rear-view mirror.

"So, ummm....what's your name?" Pekka asks as he drives away from Hillside.

"Shannon."

"I'm Pekka. How do you know Max?"

"I met him by a friend. She got set up with her now fiance, and I wanted a chance at her life. You?"

"Kinda the same, except it was one of my....co-workers."

The white room flashes up and Pekka says, "Who knows what will happen? Maybe thirteen is my lucky number after all."
