3rd Point Of View
Chef gathers the kids round for a surprise as Melody skips over while wearing her headphones but takes them off around her neck.

Chef: "Good morning Children meet the newest member of our daycare Richard Swimmins!"

The kids cheer with Melody placing her hand on the bowl making Richard swim around the bowl as she laughs in glee.

Melody: "Hello Richard Swimmins you have a really cool name apart from Duncan of course!"

Duncan smiles as Owen and Jude make kissy faces but stop when Melody turns around. She shows Duncan Richard as he holds him with Richard swimming around the bowl.

Chef sets the bowl onto the table again making sure that Izzy has the right food to feed Richard as he goes into his office. Izzy overfeeds Richard which causes Chef to gasp and about to tell the kids that he is dead.

But when he sees Melody's puppy eyes along with the rest of the kids smiling at him, he replaces the fish causing the kids to cheer as he puts the fish bowl back into the table again.

Duncan drags Melody away from Richard and over to the table as he begins to play with Melody with his action figure and Melody with her superhero girl doll.

Melody: "Looks like the streets have finally been cleaned"

Duncan: "Or have they??!"

Melody: *Gasps dramatically* "You don't mean!!!!!"

Duncan: "Yes I do for I'm really...... Dr Doom!!!"

Melody gasps and both of them pretend to fight while laughing as Richard continues to be replaced with Gwen confronting Chef as the two friends rush over to see multiple Richard copies.

Melody starts to put the pieces together as she starts tearing up with Gwen side hugging her with Izzy growling at Chef as he explains to the kids that Richard really isn't super as they been led to believe.

Melody runs out of his office crying and into the girls bathroom slamming the door shut and wiping her tears away.

Everyone tries to get her out of the stalls with Izzy trying to show her a magic trick, Leshawna trying to coax her out with a doll which Melody refuses and Beth trying to show Melody her booger collection which everyone backs away at.

Gwen sighs and opens the door before closing it again as they hear muffled words being spoken from behind the door.

The door opens with Melody eyes red from her crying as her sister leads her out with Duncan hugging her as she accepts his hug

He leads her back to the table as Chef gives her a plate full of cookies as an apology to lying to her and the other kids as she happily accepts and shares the cookies with everyone.

At the end of the day Melody says goodbye to the new Richard and walks with Gwen over to Gwen's mother as Duncan watches them through the window and sighs gently with everyone smirking at him behind his back.
