Old Opinion:    "Although I like the idea for this ship, I think it is impossible.  As established on the Ridonculous Race, MacArthur and Sanders are only friends, and probably have no romantic ties with each other.  Besides, if they were to get together, they would have very serious relationship problems.  Sanders would probably get fed up with MacArthur's reckless behavior, which would not only fuel fights between the two girls, but end the relationship before it even began.  Also, there may be a chance in the future that MacArthur will end up with Brody, as hinted by the show.  (I'll mention those two quite soon.)"

  New Opinion:  Back when I wrote this, The Ridonculous Race had not yet finished airing completely, so I was basing everything off of facts before the finale.  Earlier in the season, what I believed about MacArthur and Sander's relationship was true to a point.  While Sanders does get fed up with MacArthur sometimes, they do get along pretty well in general.  They both like to mess with each other, and the only reason they do have tension once in a while is because of their different ideologies and backgrounds.  Also the Brody thing at best would be a one sided relationship.  MacArthur probably does not like Brody back, and I was pretty dumb for saying there was a chance for a relationship back then.  I really apologize to anyone who read the original opinion on this ship.  It is seriously riddled up with incorrect interpretations on the characters and their relationship with other characters.

  Now on the actual opinion on this ship between MacArthur and Sanders.  Despite the fact that I still believe the chances are slim of them getting together on the show as of now, I do think they could make a good couple.  The character chemistry between both characters is extremely strong, to the point where it could be interpreted as buildup for making the two of them a couple.  Their friendship is a flawed, but strong one, which could easily be changed into a relationship by the writers.  Also, neither character has had any romantic interest in anyone so far.  For all we know, they could both like each other and they are keeping it a secret from each other.  Finally, a same-sex couple would be great for Total Drama.  There has never been one before so far, and it is in my opinion overdue.  Times have changed and doing such a move would gain a wider audience.  Sure, making MacArthur and Sanders a couple could be a potentially big risk, but one that could bring in a lot more well deserved viewership.

  However, there is no proof yet if MacArthur and Sanders like each other romantically.  Additionally, the relationship between them could be interpreted as just a really strong friendship, which is most likely the case.  Still, I badly want it to happen.
