Old Opinion: "A lot of you are kind of going to hate me for my opinion on this ship. Unlike a lot of people who adore this ship, I just find it okay at best. The reason for this is just how horrid Sugar is to most people. In Pahkitew Island, she teased innocent Ella, almost ended things between Dave and Sky so she could get an advantage in the game, and pushed many of the contestants around. It was like having Heather on the show again, only with Sugar having some of Owen's negative character traits and Justin's vainness added in. From what I've seen, Leonard is nice for the most part and his only quirk is his belief that he is somehow a wizard. Leonard definitely does not deserve to possibly be treated like trash by Sugar, who has been one of the meanest competitors ever on Total Drama.

Then again, Sugar could end up being completely different around someone she likes. There is evidence of her being nice to Leonard in the first two episodes of Pahkitew Island, due to her admiring his "wizard powers". So if her and Leonard were to end up together, maybe she wouldn't act like a jerk towards him. Hey, Sugar definitely has a one-sided crush on Leonard in canon, so you never know if one day it might happen. Then we'll see if she is going to treat Leonard like everyone else around her, or with special treatment."

  New Opinion:  Well it has been a year and now I can't stand this ship.  The sole reason is because of Sugar's vain and extremely selfish personality, which definitely would not change if she were dating Leonard.  Leonard is a pretty nice guy, even if he somehow believes he is a wizard, and the last thing he needs is Sugar in his life.  If Leonard were to be with someone, it would be better to be with a person that shared similar interests such as Tammy.  Also, that one sided crush Sugar had on Leonard was most likely a funny way for the writers to show how low of an IQ Sugar has.  It wasn't meant to be taken seriously.
