Old Opinion: "I know this ship is quite popular in the Total Drama fan community, but I really just don't get it.  Sure, it makes sense this ship exists as Jo and Brick's rivalry towards each other could be interpreted by some as romantic.  They always playfully teased each other when challenging each other to races or anything else athletic, and Brick seemed to really like Jo from what I've seen.  However, I always felt at best, this "rivalry" was just more friendship oriented. 
Not once did either character hint any romantic feelings for the other in any episode of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island.  Also, people seem to kind of forget that Jo was responsible for Brick's elimination from his original team, which she would have never done in the first place if she loved Brick.  Jo is definitely not in love with Brick, making the whole ship fall apart.  I never got why anyone who ships them together picked up on that little fact.  However, I can see the charm in the idea alone of two rivals dating, which is admirable of anyone who ships these two characters together.  Still, I can't help but say I'm not for this ship."

  New Opinion:  Even though I still hold on to my opinion that they are rivals at best, I do believe now there is a chance they could get together.  Their rivalry was well built up on Revenge of The Island, to the point where if the writers wanted to get them together, they easily could.  I'd fully support the two of them together, and they'd probably become one of my favorite couples.  However, there is a huge problem to the two of them getting together and that is the fact that Jo betrayed him twice in the series.  Brick may believe that everyone is worth protecting, but he still is inclined to not trust certain people.  Just because you go out of your way to save someone doesn't always mean you like them as a person.  Besides that, there are slight hints that the writers might want Jo and Lightning to get together, which could make this ship impossible.  (My feelings on Lighting and Jo will come later.)  I would love for Jo and Brick to get together, but right now, I really don't know if it will occur.
