Old Opinion:   "To tell the truth I don't know whether Gwen and Cameron are an official Total Drama couple as of late. The scene where Gwen kissed Cameron's cheek in the finale of Total Drama: All-Stars hints they may have gotten together, but I'm not sure. So if you are confused by the shared title of the couple being canon and a ship, that is the reason for that.

Moving on from the weird title, what do I think of this couple? To tell the truth, I really adore the two of them together. Gwen has had so many weird or bad boyfriends in the past, so the possibility of her finally ending up with someone just right is a treat. Cameron may still be not used to the workings of the outside world and get scared easily because of it, but he is extremely sweet, just what Gwen needs. Not to mention he is a lot like Cody, who I think Gwen should have at least given a chance in Total Drama: World Tour. Besides that, the two of them started off/may still be good friends, which is a good place to begin relationship wise. They are kind of like the ship of Silver and Blaze from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, but human. Cameron is the insecure Silver who is still discovering a world different from his. Gwen is the more reserved Blaze, who would do anything to help her friends and save the future from permanent flame."

  New Opinion:  Quite honestly, I think Gwen still would be a great match for Cameron.  They both help fix the flaws in each other and thus have a really great chance of staying together.  Besides that, I find the whole idea adorable.  I love when the geeky character prevails in the end and actually gets the girl.  I still believe the kiss at the end of Total Drama All-Stars meant something and their relationship is similar to Blaze and Silver.  Even though I do ship Gwen with Duncan, I would be just as happy if she ended up with Cameron instead.  Pretty much my opinion has stayed the same.  The only thing that has changed is the slight chance that I might be looking too deeply into a stable friendship and believing it to be a relationship.  Like with MacArthur and Sanders, we don't know yet whether these two have feelings yet for each other.  Until the creators reveal the truth, it is still a case of speculation.
