Old Opinion: "Geoff and Bridgette for me have always been a very adorable couple throughout the course of the Total Drama series.  Both characters are extremely devoted to each other, and are actually one of two of the original Total Drama couples to have stayed together throughout the entire series.  The reason this couple works so well in my opinion is how realistic the show has presented the relationship.  Like most couples, they have had their fair share of fights, which is surprisingly a sign of a really healthy relationship according to a bunch of real life studies.  Their fights have made the characters understand their differences and work through them despite the odds against them.  A great example of this is in the Total Drama Action aftermaths, where the two characters constantly fought because of Geoff developing an egotistical personality due to his sudden fame.  Bridgette, along with a few of the eliminated contestants, called him out on it, and the two of them made an agreement for Geoff to try to conceal this negative character development in order to help the relationship survive.  Also, Geoff was able to forgive Bridgette for cheating on him for Alejandro, which only happened because Alejandro was using her in order to further himself in the competition by making her believe he really cared about her.  (It was still wrong what Bridgette did, but at least she regretted it unlike Duncan when he cheated on Courtney for Gwen.)  This couple is almost perfect and one of the few relationships I've really enjoyed.  (I'm not a huge fan of romance-related media for the cliche nature the genre usually has.)

  My only problem with this couple was how annoying they are sometimes.  Whenever the writers downgrade them to two flat characters that make out non-stop, I can't help but feel completely irritated. Both characters are better than that, which has been evidenced in other events they have been through in the series."

  New Opinion:  Not really much has changed opinion wise for this couple.  I still find the realism in their relationship to be charming and the fact that they are able to settle their differences in order to make things work.  They are just a really well-rounded couple, that only really had the fault of kissing a bit too much to the point of annoyance on screen.  Even that wasn't such a bad thing, as I found the make-out sessions between Geoff and Bridgette to be strangely pretty funny.  Also, the song "I'm Sorry" has to be one of the most heartfelt songs I've heard in a while and it was because of this couple.
