Crimson and Ennui (Enimson)

Old Opinion:  " If you know me from my Ridonculous Race reviews, then you are probably thinking I'm going to bash this couple. After all, in my first few episode reviews, I've stated these characters were some of my least favorite of the show. Why on Earth would I like them together is well?

Strangely enough, they have really grown on me. They went from being my most detested team on the Ridonculous Race to one of my favorites. The reason for this is the episode "I Love Ridonc and Roll", where their make-up washed off and revealed their true appearances. Both characters had never seen each other "de-gothed" before and almost quit their relationship and the show due to the incident. However, on the taxi taking them to the airport, Crimson and Ennui realize their love is deeper than their looks. It is their shared interests in the dark arts and similar personalities that kept them together, not some pale make-up or darkly colored wigs. That was when they became one of my favorite Ridonculous Race teams and a really good couple in my eyes.
Crimson and Ennui work really well for each other, and they deserve to stay together as long as possible.

The only downside to them for me though is that the writers really don't give them a whole lot of screen time. That extra screen time could've made me further like these two contestants together by establishing even more character traits for the both of them. However, I think that problem will probably be fixed in the future once the creators see the positive response these two characters have gained over time. "

New Opinion:  A whole year has given me the ability to truly adore this couple.  They are now one of my favorites of the series, and not because they sort of remind me of Gwucan.  The reason is their strong comparability with each other and loyalty between them that will possibly never die.  Even de-gothed, they still adored each other and ended up a stronger couple because of the incident.  Also, they had the proper amount of screen time to know their relationship well enough, something the old me didn't see until learning more about character interactions in the horror that was my eleventh grade AP English course.  (I went on the wrong foot with the teacher and she in return made English harder for me, which ruined my chances at the honor society that year.)  Point is, I adore these two, and this won't change unless a future Ridonculous Race season chances my mind on them.

As a side note, I have to finish those reviews on The Ridonculous Race.  Perhaps that will be my next huge project.
